Coach Jamie is tops. Can't imagine anyone better at getting kids excited and engaged with soccer, while also learning fundamentals. All 3 of our kids have gone through his coaching and love the game. read more

SoccerKids - Soccer Near Me

Had three kids go through their early years with Coach Jaime, they ALL loved him as a coach and had SO much fun. Our kids aren't the most athletic or competitive but there is room for every child to have fun and be successful with Coach Jaime. And I don't know how he gets to know all the kids' names so quickly, but he does! Lastly, Coach Jaime has had good assistant coaches under his wing as well, and the kids learn to like and respond positively to them as well. Fantastic program all around. read more

SoccerKids is amazing! Coach Jamie runs a great program (check out TeeballKids too!) that the kids find engaging and fun. Sign up now!!! (Seriously though because classes always fill up!) read more

We love SD Soccer skids. Coach Lindsey makes learning soccer and sportsmanship so much fun for the littles. We are looking forward to many more fun seasons! read more

Unfortunately this isn't what I expected. My daughter loves to play I enrolled her at 2.5 and now she's 3! She's a child. I had to take her out because all I would hear is her name Constantly being called out for wanting to play yet other kids who did the same but were of their choice of people didn't get constantly called on for their miss behavior. Last season there was a child who would hit my child constantly yet never once did he ever get called out for. In their website it says "fun" non competitive yet this is far from it. They do the same repetitive "games" each season. read more

Coach Lindsey has a gift of keeping kids engaged and excited about soccer. She always brings consistent energy to class and is very good about keeping the kids focused while having fun. After participating for a few seasons, it's been wonderful to watch all the children progress. read more

We chose the kids' first soccer experience based on Yelp and advice from fellow moms. I'm so glad we trusted them! Coach Jaime (& his assistant, Jessie) are the real deal. Jaime makes learning the fundamentals so fun for kids this age. It's amazing how creative he is in teaching them the game. My kids don't even realize every game is teaching them something important. They are too busy laughing and having a blast. Jaime and Jessie are patient, understanding and they get kids 100%. I've seen major meltdowns avoided, (minor) injuries handled with love and care and best of all, these coaches show the kids how fun soccer can be. Soccer Kids is the best choice. End your search here and sign up. read more

Coach Lindsey and team were amazing with my daughters 3.5/4 yr old soccer class. The right balance of soccer skills, athletic drills and fun! My daughter was shy and hesitant about soccer before this class, but jumped right in with welcoming and friendly coach Lindsey! Great job Soccerkids staff! read more

Coach Lindsey is incredible with the kids! We've done 2 seasons with soccerkids now and our 3.5 year old loves soccer - they make it fun while also teaching some fundamentals - and the kids are so engaged with Coach Lindsey. Will keep our kids in the program for several more years! read more

Coach Jaime and the soccer kids program is so much fun! He has made soccer so much fun for my 4.5 year old daughter. They learn the fundamentals in a fun, silly and supportive environment. I highly recommend his classes! read more

I'm really surprised there's no more great reviews for this class. My 3 almost 4y old just finished his 1st season and he's already enrolled for his second one with the 4 year old group. After trying other soccer classes before and none of them worked for him. This is the right one and the Best in all San Diego. Coach Jaime really has a gift to work with kids. read more

My son has played soccer for 2 seasons with Little Rascalz in Carmel Valley. He loved it and had the best time. The 3rd season I decided to switch him to Soccer Kids in Del Sur only because it was closer to our house. Unfortunately, it was pretty bad. Coach Jamie would tell long elaborate stories, which isn't something you should do with toddlers that have a short attention span. He would tell the toddlers to run back and forth between cones within his elaborate story. My son and some of the other toddlers didn't understand what to do because they got lost within the story and ended up wandering around. He hardly ever used a soccer goal, which was odd. My son was so bored, so I stopped taking him. There's money flushed down the toilet. I signed him back up with Little Rascalz. It's worth the drive and my son loves it. read more

Coach Jaime is outstanding. My son has been in both T-ball and soccer classes and has thoroughly enjoyed both. Way better than putting them in a league at five years old and watching them pick daisies... he keeps them all active the whole time. read more

This is absolutely the BEST soccer program for kids! Our daughter fell in love with the coaches and soccer. She was learning without even knowing it because she was having so much FUN! Good times with Soccerkids...you will love this program. Also, easy to enroll, pay, and low stress schedules. Can't recommend it highly enough! read more

Coach Jamie is the best! Keeps the kids engaged perfectly while teaching soccer. Highly recommend.

We have done two separate sessions of SoccerKids (Spring 2012 and Summer 2013) and loved it. During the summer session my 5 year old son had so much fun with Coach Jaime (we did their TeeBall class too). The technique used was fun and informative. The kids learned a lot and had a great time doing it! Definitely recommend SoccerKids!! read more

My son really enjoyed two seasons of soccer with Soccer Kids and Coach Jaime. Super organized, fun, age appropriate coaching and very reasonable fees. Highly recommend! read more

Such a great experience!! Coach Jaime has a natural gift when it comes to coaching and I highly recommend giving him a try. We've done classes at the Y that my kids cried through or wouldn't leave my side in the sidelines and with Soccer Kids, they both couldn't wait for the next practice to start. read more

My son has been with Soccerkids for a year and he likes it! I can tell what a big progress he has made with the help of Coach Lauren. Coach Lauren is great! She looks like professional soccer player and teaches like professional soccer coach! You won't regret if you choose Coach Lauren! read more

This was our sons first year playing soccer. We had heard nothing but great things about coach Jaime and he followed through completely! Bryce had the best time and can't wait to play in the summer. read more

Coach Jaime has a natural ability to coach little kids! My son has been in his classes and another soccer club, and Coach Jaime is by far the best out there. He keeps the kids engaged and entertained while teaching them the fundamentals of the game. We highly recommend him if you haven't already tried his classes. read more

We just finished our first season with Coach Jaime and Coach Kale. We joined based on the great Yelp reviews they've received, and we're so glad we did! I'm happy to be able to chime in about the coach's amazing ability to connect with kids. The kids are smiling, laughing, and running the whole time. Thank you Coach Jaime and Coach Kale! You guys are the best! read more

Great program for teaching kids the game. The coaches relate well to the kids and they have great games that are entertaining for the kids and teach the fundamentals at the same time. read more

This is a great program. The coach really knows how to practice skills while making it fun for the kids. We have tried two other soccer programs, and one is similar to soccerkids but much more expensive and the other program relied on parent volunteers as coaches, which was a waste of time. Coach Jaime is clearly experienced and knows how to teach soccer skills and keep it interesting for the kids. read more

I can't believe there aren't several reviews on SoccerKids already! This program is fantastic. My son first enjoyed a session with Coach Lauren in 2012 when SoccerKids first arrived in San Diego, already having classes in the San Francisco/Bay area. Before Soccer Kids, my then-4yr old was hating soccer - he was the kiddo who on day 1 was standing, crying in the middle of the field yelling, "I HATE soccer!" Literally. (while playing games on Saturdays with the YMCA). But from day 1, He LOVED Soccer Kids. Coach Lauren keeps those kiddos so motivated, teaching them real skills while playing creative games that have them dribbling, passing, shooting, scoring and cheering each other on. By the time it was the end of my son's YMCA season (where they never had time to teach skills; only played with no idea of how to actually game play), parents were asking how he became such a go-getter. He knew what he was doing and he loved the game. I can't sing Lauren's praises enough. They also regularly put out deals on plumdistrict/livingsocial and/or offer promos for current students to re-enroll. Looking forward to the Spring season! read more

My 3 year old son played with Soccer Kids for 3 seasons, 2 of which were with Coach Jaime. He is very energetic and quite funny in his way of teaching soccer. Here's my favorite story though. My son ran to take a power kick at the goal, but his foot missed the ball and he fell on his bum and the wind got knocked out of him. Jaime was right there, helped him up and encouraged him to be in charge of the ball. He and my son said, "I'm the boss of you, ball". The tears were inevitable, though an my son ran off the field for a hug and that was ok, but it didn't take long for him to run back on the field. read more

After a disappointing experience with another program I signed my kids up for Soccerkids. This is an amazing program for kids to learn the skills of soccer in a fun and playful way. The coaching has been fantastic and my kids learned so much all the while having fun playing skill building games. Signing up for classes is super easy on the website. I highly recommend this soccer program!!! read more

We did the 6-week summer session for Teeball for 3-4 year olds. Coach Jaime was great with all the kids-- funny and engaging, he was able to draw out even the shy kids. He teaches basic skills (methods of throwing, running the bases, batting, catching, and safe/out) through a series of age appropriate games that they can build on each week. I think I may have even learned a thing or two just watching them... read more

This program is so great! My daughter played both tball and soccer with Coach Jamie and gained so many skills and so much confidence. What an incredibly positive experience! I tell all moms I know to start their kids with Coach Jamie before throwing them into competitive soccer or tball. You can't erase a negative athletic experience. This program will leave your little players excited about sports. read more

Coach Jamie is fantastic! My kids fell in love with soccer because of his teaching style and his ability to relate to children. Best soccer program we've done yet. We tried other group classes and my boys were bored and not engaged. This was a completely different experience. On the last day, even the parents get to play against the kids. We had kids in the 3.5/4 yo class and the 5-6yo old class. Coach Jamie was able to differentiate his teaching style to match the skill level for each age group. LOVE soccer kids! We're signing up again for the next session. read more

AMAZING!!! Coach Jaime has taught my child the love of the game with a strong emphasis on the fundamentals. He is so fun and positive. As a former competitive soccer player, I cannot endorse Coach Jaime and his staff enough!!! read more
