My sons played a few years here and overall had a great experience until our most recent. The…read moreschedule was adjusted without telling us, we showed up and then had to adjust accordingly. So five was apologetic and accommodating and I will say, their coaches are lovely and great with kids. If you have a soccer loving kiddo, or one that wants to try, this is a good spot. Just be sure on the schedule so you're set.

Love this indoor venue. 4 fields on each side which allows for ample viewing from home base (lounge…read morearea)- total of 8. Very clean and comfortable place which is noticed right away upon entering.. This January was our first experience with indoor soccer here and it exceeded my expectations. Being that it's turf you move fast so a wonderful different experience which challenges players. You also get to watch the game or practice later on as they video them. Not only is this a great of you happen to miss a game or practice as an audience member but also because as a player you're able to go back and see where you can improve. When watching from the field area and not the lounge, I suggest bringing an extra layer as it can get chilly. Also take your time to get there the first couple times as location can be tricky to navigate. Sofive is set amongst an industrial neighborhood full of warehouses. I still get confused and I've been there every weekend for the past two months. Every warehouse and street looks the same to me lol. Nice bonus - they serve beer and snacks.

As a parent, I felt really good about dropping off my kids here as I knew they were taken care of very well. The place is very clean and the curriculum is engaging. I can tell how much my children enjoy it as they do a great job of sending daily updates and photos which really help us get a good grasp of what they do all day. Also, my kids always left with a big smile on their faces. This only happens when the people who operate this place truly care about the children. I can say my experience was about as good as it gets and we absolutely plan on bringing the kids back very soon. I noticed there were some legacy negative reviews that were tied to the previous ownership - but speaking from experience I can say unequivocally that this daycare is absolutely pristine and the right place to send my kids to. We've had some good and not so good experiences with other options and Genesis is without doubt on top of the list as I feel confident they take great care of the kids and keep parents regularly updated with their daily communication. Highly recommended.

I wish so bad that I had good things to say about this program. Their mission statement is so good!…read moreBut in reality, they don't care about individual kids, don't appreciate the creativity of their employees, and their curriculum is only geared towards pre-schoolers and it's not set up for allowinging 1-3 graders to learn and flourish. As a result, it's really a disservice to even have it in out schools. it's definitely one program that should be cut due to budget. It does little good and costs way too much.

They've qualified for the playoffs every year but one, highlighted by a first-place finish in the Eastern Conference standings in 2019. Generally, a fairly good showing for such a new club. The team primarily plays its games at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. When configured for MLS games, the stadium has a capacity of about 29,000-30,000. Like other MLS teams, average attendance has been good. Official attendance records show roughly 24,000 fans per game (80-82% capacity). Over the years, several various plans for a dedicated soccer stadium designed specifically for the team - from Manhattan to Elmont (Belmont Stakes) - have been proposed, but nothing has materialized yet. In the club's short history, Spanish striker David Villa has been, by far, the club's best and most popular player. He played for New York from 2015 to 2018 and holds the club records for most appearances (126) and goals (80). He was a forward on the Spanish national team that won the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Etihad Airways, of the United Arab Emirates, has been the team's main sponsor during its existence so far.

Not to be confused with that naked team (Nude York City FC), this is a soccer team that plays in…read morethe Bronx... what could be cooler? Well, maybe Queens. And word is they may end up moving to Queens. Can you imagine. My fave borough and one of my least fave teams. I mean they're affiliated with Man City and play in the same colours. How disgusting. So considering I've been a fan of Red Bull NY since back when they were Metrostars... then it follows that I wouldn't love NYCFC, their rival. Of course I'm not a fan of NYCFC, who are the rich kids of the East Coast, think Galaxy but worse. They get a lot of good players piped in, and they do have a few good people behind them, but they're basically the Manchester City of North America. So not my favourite by any stretch of the imagination. Red Bull will always be the heart and the soul of the NY area football for me. These guys play at Yankee Stadium and they have been looking for a place in Queens to play, but for me the team of people from Queens is always going to be Red Bull even though they're over New Jersey. I'm so not a fan of the Manchester City Style kit or the ownership, and I'm hoping that they continue middling around and don't really go anywhere. But it's good to have a two-team New York area rivalry for sure. And it's definitely one of the classic legendary stadiums for baseball and as a baseball Arena it would get 5 stars and is second to none. As a soccer arena it gets three stars and just doesn't seem like a good home for this team or the sport, and it's no coincidence that they've been largely struggling in it. So the stadium that Ruth built is amazing and it's been renovated recently and it's just way too expensive - that's the main problem. If you live in this part of the Bronx you'd have to probably spend a week's wages just to come and see a game here. And a watery beer that is American of course, is going to cost you between 12 and $20. So forget it.
