I recently hired Mr. Rojas for a home inspection, and he was outstanding from start to finish. Easily 5 stars!!! I sent out several bids, and he was the first to respond with detailed information and a very competitive price. His availability was also the best of everyone I contacted. On the day of the inspection, he actually arrived ahead of schedule and got straight to work. He was incredibly thorough and took the time to explain exactly what he was looking at and doing throughout the process. I was particularly impressed that he had already assessed every specific concern I had before I even mentioned them. Mr. Rojas is a very friendly professional who clearly knows his craft. The final report he provided was excellent--it included clear pictures and a wealth of helpful information. The report was available before he left. I would highly recommend his services to anyone needing a reliable, detailed, and friendly home inspector! read more

Ernie, the owner of SoCal Home Inspections, is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. As a real estate developer, I acquire properties for full renovations far more frequently than the average homebuyer, so having an inspector I can rely on is essential. For developers, understanding the true condition of a property is critical -- it directly impacts feasibility, renovation planning, and projected margins. Ernie's reports are consistently thorough, accurate, and aligned with the assessments of both our project manager and general contractor. Another major advantage is his strong network. His connection with other specialists, such as termite inspectors, adds even more value and streamlines our due‑diligence process. We look forward to continuing to work with him on future projects. Thank you, Ernie! read more

Ernie does a great job with his home inspections. He is honest and clear with his comments and helps my buyers understand exactly what they're getting into. I would rather a buyer cancel escrow because they are making an Informed decision, then buy a house that will become a money pit. read more

I recently purchased 2 condos in Victorville which is far from my current residence located in the San Gabriel Valley. I decided to search for home inspectors that are willing to take the drive over to Victorville to do 2 home inspections on the same day. Of the 7 bids I received through Yelp, Ernie by far had the best competitive prices. I really needed him to come over on a specific day and he rearranged his schedule for me. You should definitely choose SoCal Home Inspections for your home inspection! I was worried as a first-time home buyer with how to find a reputable company and not break the bank. I searched for 5-star reviews, then requested quotes and looked over their customer pictures on their websites... I chose Ernie from SoCal Home Inspections and it was one of the best choices I have made. Ernie is amazing! And he does have experience with pools, too! He had the best price, he responds to any questions immediately when you text him, he is clear on his availability and showed up right on time! Not only was he thorough by providing a pictured, colorful 58-page report, but he explains everything to you on the spot if you want to go over it. He then promptly finalizes and emails the HUGE report to you. It has photos of issues, it has little symbols for "suggestions," he even tells you how to fix little stuff. He is personable, smiles the entire time and also was a great communicator making the process go smoothly as the seller was present and involved the entire time. Ernie was a gem in making sure the seller felt comfortable while still being able to relay information and concerns to me and my realtor. read more
