Buyer complained many issues not reported by the inspector, such as broken micro oven, stove ignition not working, HVAC had an 8-inch gap in duct & overworked. These are very easy to discover, not sure how anyone can miss the problems. Not recommended. read more

We hired this inspection company for our new house in Apple Valley. We had to change the date and time several times (due to the sellers), but Dale was always very understanding and accommodating. When the inspection date arrived, he was 10-15 mins early and was busy the whole time. He was incredibly thorough and spent over 2 hours inspecting. After it was over, he went through everything he found on the exterior and interior and gave us a few helpful tips since we were 1st time homeowners and new to the high desert area. Dale explained everything in an easy to understand way and was very nice and professional. He sent us a very clear and detailed inspection report the same afternoon with pics of everything. In addition to this he was about $150 cheaper than the other inspector someone recommended. We chose him based on his reviews but the price was a very nice bonus. We will always use Dale in the future and highly recommend him! Best service, availability, AND price...its a no brainer.:) read more

Dale is absolutely amazing! He has great communication and is extremely knowledgeable as he was previously a builder. He arrived to the property early and inspected every nook and cranny! He even will come out to inspect the property after the recommended repairs are made if you are a local customer. The best part is that I had a very detailed report with photos within hours. Thanks so much Dale!! read more

Dale is amazing He arrived to the house early and walked me through it. Helped me understand what he was inspecting and how to practice proper maintenance. He finished the report that day and sent it to me. He offered to go out to do the gas test separately because the gas was not on (not his fault obviously) at no cost to me. Super friendly, nice and reliable. The report is thorough easy to read. You won't be sorry. read more

Dale was great! After reading bad reviews on the inspector my agent had referred me to I decided to venture out and find my own inspector who had good reviews( because I live by yelp reviews under 4 it's gotta go! Lol) I'm so glad I found dale to help me in my home inspection process, he was prompt and very knowledgeable. He took the extra time to check everything and when he informed us of things he found he was very patient in helping us understand everything and I loved that he showed us around the house and showed us where all the main turn off valves and everything was. Overall great experience and will definitely be recommending him to all my friends and family, I NEVER do reviews on yelp so that just shows Dale was something special enough to rave about read more

Purchasing a new home can be very stressful. Before totally committing I wanted to know the condition of the home. I called MPI and Dale scheduled me in for his next available time slot. He came out and went over every inch of the home (took pictures), explained things to me as he went along. He's knowledgeable, thorough and does not mind explaining things to you. I definitely recommend his services and will be contacting him for any future home purchases. read more

MP inspection is very reliable. It was a God send that we were able to find him on such short notice. It's #1 service for a reasonable price. Dale is very thorough and explains what may or may not be an issue. He also discusses options and alternatives. He's knowledgeable in what he does and is honest. We were running late due to horrific traffic on the 15fwy and he was very understanding. He's efficient and professional. The inspection report was ready within a few hours of the same day, which helped because the following day was the first business day of the week. We highly recommend MP inspection. read more

I originally decided on MP Inspection due to the prompt responses I would get. I looked around for quotes and all companies took 1-3 days to respond, however I received a response within hours to not only my original email but all other emails as well from my additional questions. To top it off, the service, professionalism and pricing was beyond my expectations. Furthermore, the final report was available quickly (within hours) with easy-to-read, detailed information accompanied with multiple photos to support the observations/suggestions. I especially appreciated the tips that were included to help maintain my first home...very helpful! MP Inspections has made this process for me easy, which is what I was looking for during this stressful time. I will be recommending to all my family and friends!!! Thank you Dale! read more

Dale inspected a house for me and I had some question regarding the report, I tried to call him several times, left him messages but he didn't respond back to my messages or returning my calls, on his voicemail he is mentioning his office number, I have tried it as well but the number is not working or disconnecting. His report doesn't not have a summary for all the major issues like other inspector's reports and he didn't mentioned anything about the washer and dryer that are at the house during inspection. I am very disappointed from the report and from the after service. Not recommending him at all. you will not get what you are paying for. read more

The process of purchasing a home is overwhelming, hiring the right home inspector can save you not only thousands of dollars but many, many headaches. I came on yelp looking for home inspectors and boy oh boy they are some pretty bad ones on here. Mp inspections had the best reviews, thank you everyone that posted reviews you gals and guys were right, Dale is a stand up guy, he really knows his stuff. He came out to inspect a potential home and he found stuff I was amazed i didn't notice my self, he took his time and made sure everything was functional and up to code, also he answered every single question I asked without getting upset for asking too many. Dale's inspection report was very detail and the price was very reasonable, he was up front with his credit card fee which was fine with me. I would highly recommend Mp inspections, I will definitely use his services again. read more

This dude is a life saver! I'm an out-of-town Realtor and needed to schedule an inspection for Saturday (I called him Friday evening of course) and Dale promptly reworked his schedule to accommodate my client's request. Great communication, reasonable price, and very thorough. He even identified a plumbing leak which saved my client $$$. Highly recommended if you need a home inspection in the High Desert! read more

Very pleased with the service! Truly MP lives up to its reputation of being professional and knowledgeable. The response for a quote was quick and the service and scheduling was prompt. The process of a home inspection can be quite intimidating but MP made it feel comfortable. MP explained and outlined the process and told us what to expect from the inspection. Dale came out and did my home inspection. He was very professional and very thorough walking me through all of his findings. He even took the time to point out the small stuff that wasn't a "need to fix" before the close. Just things as a home owner I should be aware of. Before the end of the same day he had emailed me his report. I would highly recommend him. read more

I called MP Inspections to complete a home inspection on a home we're looking to purchase. I didn't really know of a reputable inspection company so I based my decision solely off the reviews on this site. I gotta tell you, Dale is courteous, professional, knowledgeable and extremely flexible. I had to cancel and change dates on him several times as the seller had a tough schedule to work around, Dale accommodated all our requests. During the inspection he performed a thorough walk through with us pointing out significant and insignificant details that we would've probably overlooked but are nice to know. We asked a ton of questions and he answered in ways we could understand. he didn't talk above us or too technical. Best of all he offered the best price in the high desert. read more

rude inspectors, just went over, looked at the roof and left, cared more about money than inspection

We recently moved to the area (and the state!) so we didn't know anyone and used yelp as a resource. After reading reviews, we decided to give MP inspection a shot and we are SO VERY HAPPY we did! Dale is prompt in responding, works really well with your schedule, and was an excellent resource to have on site. His reports are fast, detailed, and accurate. He saved us from buying a house that was going to be a way bigger project than anticipated! Dale is not like other inspectors who walk through a house with a flashlight and skim around-he looks everywhere!! After he is done inspecting, he takes you around showing you what he found and will explain it clearly, multiple times if needed! On the second house we had him inspect, he didn't find too much so he also gave us maintenance tips! We honestly can't say enough good things about Dale/MP Inspection. All we can say is if you choose someone else, you're making a mistake! Dale is truly working for you, which is hard to find. *we were NOT paid or reimbursed for this review so please don't think that!! read more
