SoCal Fresh - Food Delivery Services Near Me - Temecula, California

Horrible, completely unresponsive customer service. It's a shame because the food is great. We politely reached out to them multiple times (at least 7x over the course of 1.5 months) regarding 2 issues, but received ZERO response at all, in spite of giving multiple chances for them to respond. read more

Started off great. Delicious meal preps saving you time, effort and excess calories. Delivery on time. Very convenient if you are willing to spend the money. I thought it was definitely worth it until these guys blew it in the customer service department. I was spending roughly $ 1200 per month consistently. Now if you had a business relationship with a customer where you are making that profit consistently wouldn't you want to provide good customer service if the customer had one complaint in 6 months? Also keep in mind that your meal prep delivery business is loaded with competition. So what was my complaint? Well I left town and decided to put the delivery on hold for a week. Someone screwed up on their end and they still delivered. Not only did the delivered food sit and rot on my front porch for a week, but they made a 2nd delivery on day 7 so there were 2 weeks worth of meal preps when I got home on day 8. When I got home I called them and told them what happened and asked them why they did not pickup the food when they arrived 7 days later if they still had me on schedule? They said they have no record of me putting it on hold to begin with. And that all they do is deliver and pickup empty bags!! Lmfao. So I said what the hell do you do? Just deliver food and collect money with no concern for your customer's well being since you notice rotting food and do not say or do amything sbout it? They still refused to give me a refund and they lost my business forever. read more

If you want fresh and delicious this is the delivery service for you! However they were 2 weeks late on my order but did come all the way to my door step read more

This is a great service! I signed up 2 weeks ago, and I am so happy I did! I LOVE the meals. They are delivered on time, customer service is great. I called before signing up to ask 5 million questions and Cal was kind, courteous and patient with my questions. I am a vegetarian, but mostly vegan, as I do not eat milk, butter, cheese or dairy, and try to eat lots of veggies and good clean eating. These meals are the bomb. I use to have a meal delivery service from EAT marketplace and these meals are a lot better, and they are seasoned to perfection!! They put together some combinations of foods that I would never have even dreamed up in a million years! Yum I will post pictures of them all. Not sure how the meat eater plan is, but if you are a vegetarian or a vegan and you want some great cooked healthy meals delivered to your home, then this is the service for you. So glad I found this place, and I am super excited to see what next weeks meals will be! Give the service a try you will not be disappointed! Great meals, clean eating and great customer service, what more can you ask for??? read more

I have been trying to lose weight for quite some time now. My biggest battle is food since I never have time to cook, so I decided to sign up for a meal prep/plan service. I chose SoCalFRESH because they had decent reviews and they give you the meals you choose weekly instead of a ton of meals all at once. I tried the 10 paleo meals and I was not impressed. The food isn't awful (except the salmon burger), but it also does not taste good either. They also gave me a lot of repeated meals; I don't feel like I got a good variety at all. I am such a foodie and I love to cook, so I might just be acting too picky, but I feel like the price is way to high for the quality and taste. I will be trying another company, so hopefully they work out for me. I would just say that if you are okay with your food being bland, then SoCalFRESH would be a good option. read more

It pains me to give a mediocre review to this company, because of the 3 locals I tried, they had the best veggie meals. That's why they won the competition for our business. That said, I've noticed a trend lately. About 60% of the time, I open my 3 veggie meals per week and think, I've been ripped off! Just plain ripped off! As a household of 1 carnivore and 1 veginore, we get 5 meals/week (3 of which are veg) for a cost of $77. At $15/meal this (see photo) is a rip-off, you guys! Now, I understand that I'm paying for the convenience of having healthy meals delivered to my home. But this isn't a meal! I have expressed to the company my disappointment and made it clear that the veg meals are my MEALS (not side dishes for the two meat meals). I've gotten these worth $2 side plates enough times now that I'm seriously considering canceling my subscription after being a loyal customer since February 2018. I sincerely hope that this review serves two purposes: (1) improvement in veg meals that are a return to the previous quality, and (2) a warning for fellow veggies. read more

SoCal Fresh - $15 for a dollop of lentils, a cup of kale, and some mangled beet? - Food Delivery Services Near Me - Temecula, California

I started having food delivered about 4 months ago. Pros Well packaged, good quality and I like the portions for the most part Delivery convenient Price Fresh Cons; customer service was spotty in the beginning but has improved recently. Foods are becoming repetitious Would love nutrition facts either in delivery or on packaging the website list is never what I recieved so it's hard to track ..or I am getting left overs.... sometimes meals look like they're not measured the same and just thrown together like scraps. I also would appreciate my plan to come 2 of the same meal since my husband and I are eating together and they way they are sent is 2 different dinners i.e. beef ground and steak... read more

Disorganized business, limited meal selections, confusing subscription weekly ordering. When ordering your weekly meals one wrong button push and you have a second subscription. Boom, double charged and double meals. SocalFresh's response, just freeze the meals. Good concept, bad execution. read more

This food tastes so good!!!. Basically that's all you need to know but I will tell you more. It's nutritious, it served fresh and in healthy portions. It takes all the hard work out of prepping and it can get delivered straight to your door. They have different kinds of protein options, gluten free and vegan. Check them out! read more

SoCal Fresh - A delicious steak entree for lunch. These meals will help keep me on track. - Food Delivery Services Near Me - Temecula, California

Food was generally good but my husband and I won't be ordering from SocalFRESH again. We have ordered twice from them and both times had problems -- the first week some of my meals did not have all of the components, which just sucks. This last week they sent 5 blackened shrimps rather than the miso salmon I ordered and still my other meals were missing some components. My husband reached out to customer service on Sunday and we still haven't heard a response. read more

Definitely the best organic meal prep service in the inland empire area! My wife and i came across an advertisement for this company about 9 months ago and we have been more than happy with the quality of the food and the customer service since day 1. The meals are delicious and they have something for everyone in our family including meals for our toddler. We have used a couple different meal delivery services and socal fresh is by far the most delicious option. The meals are always fresh and cooked to perfection. The entire family looks forward to delivery day. i highly recommend socal fresh for anyone looking for delicious meals and dependable service and delivery. read more

SoCal Fresh - Food Delivery Services Near Me - Temecula, California

I ended up canceling SoCal Fresh after a couple of months. The meals started feeling too repetitive and the same flavors got boring. They also stopped delivering meals with the sauce they previously packaged with every meal - one of the reasons my husband and I liked the food. In addition, they raised delivery prices without updating pricing on their website. While the food was still "okay", I opted for another company that allows you to pick your meals on a weekly basis. read more

Still loving So Cal Fresh, the food gets better each week. I am on my 4th week now and love the flavor and variety! Thank you!

I'm not one to take the time to leave reviews but this food service has been so great, I need to let others know. I am a new mom and it's really hard to have the time or energy to cook but it's important I eat. This service is easy and delicious!! My favorite so far has been the Cuban Picadillo. Yum! I've had a wonderful experience so far. I highly recommend it! Thank you guys! read more

New customer here. Credit card has been charged twice , totaling over $500. No deliveries, no food, no service. Have attempted emailing & calling for over a week with no response & no one answering the phone. Finally had to file with my credit card. Not sure this is even an actual business at this point, potential fraud. Futures customers take caution & beware. read more

I have a busy schedule & it's hard to find the time to make prepare nutritious meals. After doing some research on several meal prep services I decided to pull the trigger on Socal Fresh. First off, the meals arrived in perfect order, they were stacked neatly in a cooler bag & packed well with plenty of ice packs. The portions were perfect, they don't skimp on the proteins! And they offer meals to fit different diets - gluten free, vegan, no rice. What really impressed me was the flavor! I was blown away by how delicious these meals are. Full of flavor, they season everything perfectly. I never knew eating this healthy would be so delicious. I've been using them for several weeks now, they do a great job of mixing up the meals, so you're not eating the same thing every week. Prices are more than fair, especially for grass fed, gluten free, & organic products. Clean & delicious food, great prices, portioned, cooked & delivered to my door. Thanks for making it so easy! read more

I went into the store and purchased a chicken pasta and a vegan option both were inedible! The pasta was over cooked and falling apart and the accompanying veggies were mushy. The vegan option was all over and the brown rice was not cooked enough and tough. I am really hoping this was just an off week for them but I have no clue how anyone could give them a decent review unless they worked there. read more

The food is absolutely disgusting, no real selection and the fat content is entirely too high to consider it "healthy." I would not use this service again given that there are so many other to choose from that are much healthier, have more competitive pricing and are made by actual athletes and Professionals in the business. read more

I started my diet with SoCal Fresh about a week ago. The meals are delicious and so flavorful. Macros are on point, 100%! I did the Chef's Choice plan and received a combination of lamb, chicken, fish and ground beef. There were a couple meals that I enjoyed so much that I kept holding back on the Chicken Zoodles and Teriyaki Beef, but I have had both in the past two days and they were delicious. I have not been disappointed in any of the meals! I even hate blue cheese, so I was really disappointed when I found out the dressing for the Cobb salad was blue cheese, then I tried a taste of it and it was more of a tangy mustard taste rather than nasty blue cheese. I went ahead and ordered two more salads for my next delivery. I'm truly impressed, especially because I was skeptical after I had a couple meals from Fresh & Fit (their old company) and I stopped ordering. These meals are great for eliminating grocery shopping, meal prepping and trying to get variety. Especially if you're on a strict diet, it's hard to get this variety on your own meal prep initiative. Everything has stayed fresh for the week and the meals are so filling. I'm a big fan! read more

Can't say enough good things about SoCal Fresh. I follow a Paleo friendly diet and they accommodate with delicious food delivered to my door twice a week. Cal is always responsive. There was a technical mishap possibly on our end regarding our order for the week but he took the time to drive our food for the week down to San Diego --- fresh and ready to go. What's really cool is that each week the menu seems to change and I LOVE the variety. Definitely recommend SoCal Fresh if you're just too busy or tired to cook, want to licious prepackaged meals that keep you healthy, and want to have more time to do the things you want to do. Try them out today. read more

SoCal Fresh - All my food comes in these nifty bags. Fresh and kept cold with ice packs. - Food Delivery Services Near Me - Temecula, California

I absolutely love So Cal Fresh! My family has been eating their meals for well over a year, possibly 2 years, it's been so long. This is the only meal delivery that follows all of our family's restrictions, no dairy, no gluten, no soy, organic, sea salt & anti-inflammatory spices. Not only do they follow our family's restrictions but the food tastes great! We have choices of what we want to purchase for the week and the menu has a good variety that has a few new selections each week. Delivery is easy, you don't have to be home because they have ice packs in the bag that keep the food cool for a few hours. They text when the food has been delivered. I highly recommended So Cal Fresh for any family. They have so many choices for your meal plan. read more

Delivery Issue: I have an issue with the delivery staff. Every week the guy calls and makes it seem like a problem that he has to park and deliver the food to my door. You're delivering fresh food, not dropping off a newspaper. Dropping off food anywhere other than my door in a city filled with homeless people and theft is unacceptable. Freshness Issue: I understand that some of the meals read "expire 5 days after delivery". I was delivered Salmon burgers with an expiry date of 2/15/19, in mid-April. This is not fresh by any excuse or definition. There are too many services out there that offer quality food at better prices with none of these issues. Too competitive a market sector to act this way. read more

This company is a joke!!!!! DO not waste your money here. I have been a customer for 2 plus years and had no problem until 6 months ago. This company went to shit. They constantly make mistakes with your order. This company will deliver your food late, not give you all your meals, or read your order wrong and give you the wrong food. Now their phones for the company are off and you can't even put in an order. This company is so unprofessional and to expensive. Do not give this company your money!!!!! read more

Amazing food!! Thank you for the awesome and all organic meals! We love your food and so does the whole family.

Been getting meals from SoCalFresh for over a year now - and they are fabulous. Delicious, creative, so easy to heat up (we do it in microwave after defrosting), and they have a great delivery system. Texting us when meals have arrived. We are both eating foods (e.g.. brussel sprouts!!) that we never thought we liked. And their steak meals are awesome. Actually all their protein is delicious. Highly recommend. read more

Socal Fresh has done a great job with their service. From on-time deliveries to great tasting food. I have tried a couple of these services in the past including blue apron and freshly and others. Either they were to much work doing the prep or the food just didn't taste right on the ready-made meals. I used to spend a lot of money buying groceries and a lot of them went bad waiting on me to prep them for cooking. With the Socal Fresh service they're ready made and all you have to do is heat them up. The only thing that I do not like is that if you order over six meals they do make deliveries on two separate days which incurs extra shipping cost. Other than that great service great food that is healthy. If you are on the go or have limited refrigerator space; this is a great option for quick meals that are healthy. read more

I am so bummed that I can't give more stars, because initially I really loved the food and was so happy with this service. I decided to try out the keto diet since I have gained a few lbs. I thought...what better way than to just have my meals delivered so I can stay on track easier? I tried a few other companies before this one (this is the ONLY one that charges for delivery..and only delivers once a week) and loved the reviews so I thought I would give it a try. Well, today hits the 4 week mark of only eating the packaged meals, tracking all my macros, doing high intensity work outs, etc--and I have gained 6lbs! (not the kind where you build muscle...like it's a noticeable 6lbs) I started looking a little deeper into the nutrition facts for these meals and realized they aren't balanced at all for keto and the calories of the daily plans were way higher than what my body needed. It's just too calorie and carb dense for someone who is trying to lose weight. Anyways, a lot of the food tastes really good so I unfortunately am bummed to have to cancel, I wish more than anything this had worked! They do have great customer service. :( read more

I wanted to place orders with SoCal Fresh as their website states they deliver to the inland empire, unfortunately not all of the inland empire. I called and left a message followed by sending an email asking to see if the orders can be picked up or if they offer a meet up place and have not received any response to date. 2 weeks and I'm still waiting for a response. Im giving SoCal Fresh one star based on their poor customer service for not responding to potential clients. read more

Terrible. They always get my meals wrong!! I order about 7 meals because I'd rather have it all ready for me for a whole week . I'm a vegetarian if i eat meat id probably become really sick. For almost 3 times now have about 3 of my meals been with meat when I specifically don't order that!! This is not okay and they are just so careless. I stopped ordering now because they have no care for my health (as they say they do) . Do yourself a favor and order somewhere else. read more
