Unfortunately, after our first cleaning, I don't think we'll be continuing. Initially, everything seemed to be going well. They sent one cleaner who was at our home for about five hours. However, toward the end of the appointment, it became very clear that she was rushing to finish. Two bedrooms were "cleaned" in roughly the final 15 minutes, and the overall result simply wasn't close to the level of cleaning we expected--or, frankly, the expectations the company seems to set for itself. Our house was already in relatively clean condition before the appointment. We also weren't contacted about the home requiring additional time or a price adjustment because of its condition, which I think is important context for a first-time clean. To their credit, La Clean House communicates well and followed up afterward. They also offer to return and address anything you notice within 72 hours, which I appreciate. However, as a busy family with three kids, scheduling another appointment so someone can come back and clean the areas that should have been completed properly the first time defeats much of the reason we hired a cleaning service in the first place. If you have the flexibility to inspect everything afterward and have them return to correct anything that was missed, they may be a good fit. But if you're looking for a company that will clean your home reasonably close to the standard you would clean it yourself without needing a second visit, I would suggest continuing to look at other options.

In addition, communication can become difficult when concerns are raised, as there is a tendency to shift blame onto the client rather than acknowledge the issue.

Those of you reading this, you should be very concerned about the rates and poor quality (see pics) for the Maids' services. Tread carefully when considering The Maids for cleaning services.

The two cleaners that came were very nice, professional, thorough and did a fantastic job. I am really sorry for them because if my experience was solely based on the actual service it would be 5 stars. However, after you book a service with them they will call and text you repeatedly to the point where I consider it harassment. In the span of 2 days I received 3 phone calls and 2 texts trying to get me to book another cleaning service. And - let me add, I answered the very first phone call and told them I was not interested in booking another cleaning, and they still continued to text and call. It has been almost a year of this continued harassment and I finally blocked their number. I do not recommend using The Maids.
