The estimate he told me is what I paid. He took my car on short noticed and repaired that car on time, like he said prior via tel-con. I am not familiar with that negative rating so I cant say what happened but do find it hard to believe !! He has a pleasing personality as well as his workers, he does darn good work. I went in having the Alternator replaced along with both Stabilizer rods, he did it and the car runs and sounds great when going over bumps. He did what he promised and can honestly, unequivocally say he can be trusted and seems to be very honest, that's what I value ! As I pulled into town on New Years Eve, I started getting oil warning lights in my vehicle that I had just had service done (including an oil change) a few days prior. I was traveling with my dog and young daughter, and we were due to leave early in the morning on January 1st. When I woke up that morning, I started calling around to see if any auto repair shops might happen to be open on New Years day at 8 am. As you might expect, they were not. When I happened to call Blacklock, I was thrilled when someone answered the phone. Not only where they open, but Joel was super friendly and told me to come on by after I explained the situation. We headed over there and Joel immediately got to work. They ran a diagnostic on the car and found that a bunch of warnings were popping up - all things that I thought had been addressed with my service the prior week back in Austin. He noted that the fee for the diagnostic was going to be $150 before doing it, and I told him to go through with it as I didn't really have much of a choice. Another guy came (owner, perhaps?) and they finished up the diagnostic. The theory was that the place that I had worked with in Texas didn't reset the warnings, but that all was well. Checked the oil to confirm and reset the warnings. I was relieved and grateful for the fact that they were open and welcomed me in on New Years Day, but they weren't done yet. When it came time to head out - they told me not to worry about the diagnostic charge... on the house. I was blown away! Gave a healthy tip as a show of gratitude and then we headed back on our way to Santa Fe. I'm not one to go and write reviews for places, but this one absolutely deserved the 5 star shout out. If they treat others anything like how they treated us - a no brainer recommendation from me. Thanks, gents!

My daughter is in Clovis, NM, for a co-op program for 5 weeks. A recent hailstorm damaged her moonroof, and uncertain about the availability of replacement glass, I called six places: three in Clovis, NM, and three in Amarillo, TX. From the initial call to the final installation, the team was prompt, professional, and communicated every step of the process with me. The replacement was done quickly and efficiently, and the price was very competitive. When my daughter took the car in for an initial inspection, they already had the part ready to be installed. They even gave her a ride to her class, and once the replacement was completed, they drove the car back to her. As a mom so far away in Cypress, TX, I felt helpless, but their exceptional service gave me peace of mind. I would highly recommend Bill's Auto Service for any quick service needs. Their dedication to customer satisfaction and quality of work is truly impressive.
