There are plenty of soap instructors online, but their soap instruction is far inferior to Kerri's instruction.

GSDA provides an alternative T-K through 12th grade educational setting, appealing to families from all walks of life. It's amazing to watch our homeschool parents learn and refine their homeschooling techniques, and I love being a part of that experience. Our high school independent study program is amazing - students don't slip through the cracks at GSDA because the high school team knows exactly how to address the educational and emotional needs of all types of kids. It is an "everyone knows everyone" type of atmosphere. The consultants go above and beyond to make sure that all students are successful, something that is really hard to find in a traditional high school setting. Working at a small school gives all of us the opportunity to get to know each student personally. I love being able to try different curricula, projects, and teaching techniques with my families. No two kids learn in the same way, and GSDA provides a supportive environment for all types of learners. It's a great place to work!

She will be attending a 4 year university in the fall, and she feels that this would not have been possible without the support of her consultant and other teachers at GSDA. She became involved in the ASB, and she enjoyed this as well. We are very happy that we made this decision. A lot of parents don't know that there are choices out there, and that they can make a choice that might make a difference for their child's future. Every student is different, and this school makes a great effort to meet each student's needs. Good job, GSDA!

My experience with the SDSU Veterans Center was in 2021…read more I originally contacted the Veterans Center for counseling on what my next steps are and how to go through using my post-9/11 benefits. After being bounced around through a few emails I had an online meeting roughly 3 weeks later to which I was told that the online meetings are for current students only. When I told them that I was simply looking for counseling for prospective students, one of the staffers (who doesn't work there anymore) laughed at me. She forgot to mute herself and rolled her eyes after complaining that there were other things she needed to be doing. I sent a complaint to Todd Kennedy who was at the time the head of the veterans center, and although he was very apologetic about the situation I didn't feel that the issue with his staff was resolved. He replied that the counseling position that I was in need of recently was cut from the budget so they could not help in that regard, but he assured me that he would talk to his staff. Although this review is a long time coming I feel that veterans should understand that your experience may vary. I am sure things may have improved since the two years I inquired, however, I haven't been back to verify.

Their reasoning is that they can't provide services without this data and signing in after you start talking is not an option. The front desk person was explaining how everything worked during my first visit and the supervisor rudely interrupted him to deny me access to information. I literally couldn't listen anymore and did not get the information I needed. They are insensitive and unpersonable. It felt robotic. This school has enough problems and these people are just being part of those problems instead of being a welcoming break. They also haven't updated their location on the map in years, which means I had to walk all over campus to find them.

If you're looking for something FREE and CHEAP for salon services, come to this spot! It's by students doing your haircut, nails, highlights, all of it for free or at a cheap cost. Men's haircut is free! I was in contact with Frida, a student at this program to do my hair for partial, only costing me $60. The experience was great, my hair came out perfectly blonde, it was smooth. The salon is huge! It's very clean, and staff are very friendly. I really loved how Frida was very caring and detailed-oriented, it made my experience so much better. I'd highly recommend booking an appointment online!

In my experience, I did not receive the full program that was originally described to me during enrollment. As I reached the end of my training, there were areas of the curriculum that were not provided in hands-on practice. When I asked about completing those sections, I was informed there was no time remaining and that I would need to finish the program as it was. This made the experience feel incomplete and frustrating, especially for a vocational program where practical training is essential. I recommend researching carefully, asking for specifics in writing, and making sure the program truly aligns with your expectations before making a commitment.

That was awesome!!!! Just got in from an evening of sushi,…read morebeer and ART at Ebisu with the ladies of Beer and Art!!! First, I must preface by noting that I couldn't draw a decent stick-figure worm if you did it for me! So, yes, I was slightly intimidated by the prospects of sitting in front of a canvas, trying to replicate so much as a smiley-face daisy; but this was mid-week date night, and despite my trepidation, I was actually pretty excited. Truth be told, I planned the date, so it's not like I'm asking for sympathy, not even a little empathy - after all, I more or less TOLD my rough-n-tumble motorcycle-riding boyfriend that he was joining me for an evening of sushi and paint! I'm just hoping to convey that I am in no way shape or form an artist; I have never painted anything, save a wall and my toe nails; I knew going in that there existed the strong possibility that I'd embarrass myself. Enter the "beer" element of "Beers and Art". A nice beer to grease the wheels! Some delicious sushi to fill the belly! And we're off! Sheri and Molly were outstanding! They guided us all through the simple and relaxing journey, from blank canvas to a sky and moon and tree and bird!!! And, under their tutelage, I DID IT! It even looks like a sky and moon and tree and bird!!! They were fun, and encouraging, and articulate, and just plain RAD!!! My date's interpretation was more outside the box, but really lovely nonetheless! He was so engaged, so into the process! We both were, getting lost in shading and colors and light and shadow! Sheri and Molly were there, offering ideas and instruction, gentle encouraging insightful instruction. Fun but professional, and very attentive. After a great night doing something new and fun, after hours of friendly conversation with the other guests, after delicious food and beer, We left with our paintings... Actually paintings that can be hung on the wall! And I'll tell ya, we both want to do that again!

Always a good time! Sheri and Molly are excellent at instructing and explaining techniques. They…read moreare so friendly and funny.
