I've tried…read moretheir bar soaps, their shower oils, their body butters, their shower steamers, their bath bombs, their hand soap, and their laundry detergent. They have many different unique scents that are very nice, and the staff is always helpful and very friendly. HOWEVER.. I have now purchased three separate products which, despite supposedly being crafted from all natural stuff and no chemicals or whatever, leave AWFUL stains in our bathtub due to strong dyes in use in them. A shower steamer and a bath bomb I bought, both colored yellow, both left separate oily, yellow rings around the tub that are extremely difficult to remove, even with scrubbing and elbow grease. A bar of soap I bought also has a hot pink dye in it which has dyed absolutely everything in the shower: the walls, the floor, my hands, the washcloth, the other bar of soap, the shelves.. This does not seem right for something that claims to be all natural. The dyes are too strong and they are literally ruining my bathroom. I don't like feeling like I can't try their products without having to factor in how I will clean them. This will have to change before I would spend more money here.

I visited the store in their grand opening weekend. The store was clean, the staff was helpful (not…read moreover bearing) and friendly. I purchased some bath bombs and some apple body oil. The scents are amazing and I love that they are all natural. I was offered a free laundry soap sample with my purchase. I really enjoyed the laundry soap so I returned to purchase more soap and scented dryer balls. The dryer balls don't hold the scent for very long. I know I can bring the, back to have them re-scented. They don't control any static so all my clothes come out of the dryer clinging to one another and with pet hair clinging. It's a typical humid time- July in Wisconsin. I can't imagine the static in January when it's dry outside. That's my only 'con' to the store and products.

Step out of the car and it's a sweet experience for all of your senses. Stand outside and close your eyes for a bit to catch the beautiful, hand-crafted wind chimes propelled by the wind into an alto or tenor-range A minor chord in the most perfectly rich and lulling melody. Walk inside and your eyes and nose go into sensory overload. There's tons to look at and so many inviting scents to choose from. I used to make homemade soap and I have to say, the featured Sunrise Showers All-Natural Handcrafted Soap is just like making it in your own kitchen laboratory. It's the softest, gentlest soap with all types of aromatic "flavors" and properties. Go for a simple, soothing lavender or invigorating peppermint, or go for soaps with a more specific purpose like Fisherman's Fancy with anise oil that's said to mask the fisherman's human scent and attract fish, or like Beauty and the Bug that contains 7 essential oils that are supposed to repel insects and relieve stings. But it doesn't end with Sunrise Showers (the owner's own line) soaps. There are all sorts of products from butters to fragrances to hair care, and all sorts of quaint gifts even from familiar makers like Burt's Bees and Crabtree & Evelyn. But I would definitely suggest Sunrise Showers products for the all-natural goodness. The shopping bags even list ingredients in popular consumer soaps as opposed to these natural soaps. I don't know about you, but essential oils like coconut, jojoba olive and avocado oils sound better to me than ingredients I can't even pronounce. Add stuff like cocoa butter and shea butter and whatever yummy scents you can imagine and it'll almost be good enough to eat (almost). You can purchase stuff online, but if you like this type of stuff I'd suggest visiting the shop. It's too sweet to pass up. I'm just so geeky that I even love the dried flowers and herbs hanging from the ceiling. Gave it an extra TLC kind of touch. I know...lame. But I LOVE THIS STUFF. I might just have to get out the soap materials and the goggles and make a batch.... :)

Everything from reading all the class descriptions, selecting which kind of class (because there are lots of fun options!) to reserving the class and showing up were very seamless. We had such a great time making bath bombs and learning the process, and we were provided aprons and gloves so we stayed nice and clean. There were lots of scents, colors and shapes + glitter and other add ins to choose from. We both left with a whole box full of bath bombs and our instructor even packaged up the leftover "dust" as fairy dust to sprinkle into a bath. Even if you don't take a class, it's a perfect spot to stop in for handmade soaps or bath scents, great gift ideas! Really looking forward to doing one of the soap making classes here.

It is full of some really amazing scents that you notice the second you walk in. There are premade items as well as empty bottles so that you can make your own signature scent. The very nice lady had us smell around 400 different scents and choose the ones that appealed to us the most. Then we had to choose how we wanted it- in a room spray, body spray, Cologne , lotion or shampoo. I think there are others but I can't remember. We chose the body spray. For about $25 we had our own signature scented body spray! A month later I'm still loving it. What a fun gift this would make, or a fun place to take the teens for a few hours :) The only downside was, I think some of the scents were expired, as they were definitely not a good scent as they should've been, but I didn't mind since there were so many others to chose from :) we will be back!
