Five stars for Heaven!…read more We were visiting from out of town and had mini Bundt cakes delivered by a thoughtful friend. Unfortunately, the delivery driver left them outside in the extreme heat, and they were completely ruined by the time we got home. I called the store, and although it was a third-party delivery issue, they asked me to come in the next day with photos and the receipt. That's when I met Heaven. She listened, understood the situation, and made everything right without hesitation. More importantly, she treated us with genuine kindness. During an already difficult time of grieving, her compassion and heartfelt apology meant so much. That level of empathy and customer service is rare these days. Heaven turned a frustrating experience into a positive one, and I am so grateful. Heaven, thank you for your empathy, your professionalism, and your kindness. You reminded us that there are still wonderful people in the world, and we are grateful for you.

I usually did passion fruit and coconut but this time they did not have it so I did guava and peach/mango combo. It was delicious and I truly savored it to the last spoonful. I was greeted immediately and struck up a conversation with the two nice ladies that worked there, but I've came back twice since being there and discovering it in April of this year and I'm thinking about going back in the next week or so. From the moment I walked in, the owner welcomed me with a warm, friendly greeting that set the tone for the entire visit. While the shop is cozy, it is impeccably clean, well-organized, and clearly maintained with pride. Their menu offers a fantastic variety of flavors with three different sizes of shaved ice, all at a very reasonable price point. When it came time to order, I decided to let the staff showcase their creativity and asked for a "delicious surprise." After a few thoughtful questions about my favorite fruits and flavor profiles, they crafted a Banana Cream Pie shaved ice that was absolutely divine. My husband opted for a Peach, Raspberry, and Mango combination, which was equally refreshing and flavorful. Beyond the treats, what really stood out was the service. We spent some time enjoying our desserts and chatting with the owner, whose hospitality made the visit feel special. It is the perfect spot to beat the summer heat or enjoy some quality family time. A quick note for visitors: The establishment currently does not have ramp access. If you have mobility challenges, I recommend bringing a companion along to assist with entry. I will definitely be returning to Charlie's Snow Shack soon. If you're looking for great service and even better treats, this local business is a must-visit!
