The gentleman behind the counter was extremely friendly and allowed me to take as much time as I needed to check everything out, which was a few minutes because there is a lot to choose from. I don't know if the selection changes daily, I forgot to ask, but on this day he had: Espresso brownies Pistachio white chocolate brownies Double chocolate brownies German chocolate brownies Toasted pecan brownies Naked brownies Cherry turnovers Vegan banana walnut bread I ended up going with the double chocolate brownie, and a macchiato. I was not disappointed. The double chocolate brownie was rich in a very good way. Macchiato was delicious. Thank you, Mosswood Farm Store for going organic. Also, thank you for being so kind to your customers, it is much appreciated!

Definitely a spot I'd recommend stopping by after dinner if you're craving something sweet. There were so many things I wanted to try, so I'll definitely be back!

Specifically had the raspberry and chocolate croissants and was very happy with both. Raspberry croissant was super flaky with a nice cream and jelly inside. Little messy to eat, but delicious and not too sweet. The chocolate croissant was also very good and both pastries were large. Price for both was a little steep but given size, quality, and being at WEC it really wasn't bad. Coffee was also pretty good with the price surprisingly reasonable be given its location. Place was fairly busy but the line moved quickly so it wasn't an issue. If you're looking for a nice pastry and coffee I would definitely repeat if you're at or near WEC.

The café offers a variety of lunch options, including quiche, soup, chicken salad, and deli sandwiches. My review, however, is based solely on Betty Cakes' cakes, as I've only stopped in for takeout desserts and haven't yet had the opportunity to sit down and enjoy lunch and cake at the café. Over the years, I've tried several of their specialty cake flavors, including Easter Dirt, Strawberry Shortcake, and Guava, as well as their Bundt cakes such as Sour Cream Pound, German Chocolate Rum, Hummingbird, and Pumpkin. Every one of them has been delicious. What I appreciate most is that these cakes don't just taste wonderful--they look special. Each slice appears to have been made with care and attention to detail. They're the kind of desserts that make you feel like you're treating yourself to something truly special, as if that slice of cake was made just for you. The cakes are consistently moist, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether it's a seasonal specialty cake or one of their Bundt cakes during the holidays, I've found myself returning again and again. In fact, I've made it a tradition to stop by for their specialty and holiday cakes throughout the year. There are plenty of places to buy dessert, but Betty Cakes creates cakes that are both tasty and memorable. The quality, presentation, and homemade touch keep me coming back. That's why I continue to be a loyal returning customer. If you're looking for a dessert that looks as good as it tastes, Betty Cakes Cafe is definitely worth a visit.

So I've been told get here early or don't even bother and that's exactly what we did and I must say these are definitely some of the best donuts in the state as they are hot fresh and just classic but definitely with their own unique style. So the blueberry cake donut was definitely my favorite as it was super flavorful with blueberry donut goodness as well as a yummy icing on top to set the vibe to the donut goodness one could totally get again and again! The jelly donut was awesome like it's up there with one of the best ones I've ever had as the flavors were totally there and just a perfect doughnut from start to finish. So we are suckers for apple fritters and we totally had to get one to try and I must say while it was good it wasn't my favorite as these I'm very picky with as I love them flat and really crispy and not everyone does them this way so I can't knock them for their own style and besides it was definitely good for what it was just not the go to one for me! No wonder they sell out fast, as most days they are open 5 or 6am until noon, and many times they close early once they sell out. Closed on Monday and Tuesday. The girl working this overnight to morning shift making the donuts was very kind and nice to chat with.
