My wife and I had $3500 budget for a 1 week to someplace tropical in December. After spending about 6 hrs each on Trip Advisor, Kayak, Expedia and just about every other site, we couldn't find anything in our budget. I had never used a travel agent before, so I decided on a whim to contact this local agent. They got back to me the same day and the next day I was looking at three awesome packages all under $2500 (their fee included) - and these were much better deals than we were looking at on our own. We ended up going with a Funjet package, which included a direct flights from/to BWI to Punta Cana, Excellence Resort - all inclusive with an ocean front suite. Totally amazing! Never again will I waste my time hunting aimlessly online. I'm calling the experts.

From beginning to end she was available 24/7 to answer all of our questions and those of our guests. When I spent a few days and nights in a total panic because of hurricane Matthew (cat 5) she was right there with me - offering to re-arrange flights and assuring me that everything would be okay. It was! And we had a glorious beach wedding on a beautiful Island. I was so impressed with the personal touch we received. Even after we arrived in Turks, she messaged me to see how everything was going. We had a few little glitches with a spa appointment and getting the wedding dress steamed and with one call to Ann she worked her magic and straightened everything out. So we did -- she planned our amazing honeymoon to Punta Cana in 2015, and we've been hooked ever since! Fast forward to 2020, Barb has planned several unforgettable trips for us over the years, including trip to Ireland and Scotland, a Mediterranean cruise and Rome/Athens adventure, and the most incredible trip of all - a South African safari in June 2019. Not only is she knowledgeable, attentive and honest, she's funny and incredibly easy to talk to. She makes the trip planning process fun and stress-free from start to finish. No matter our budget, she's flexible and patient and works with us to find a trip that is both affordable and suits our needs (and "wants"). She takes the time to fine-tune every little detail in our itinerary, offering helpful advice and tips along the way. We had a trip to Iceland and London planned for June 2020, but obviously needed to reschedule due to the COVID-19 crisis. Despite the stress she must be experiencing working in the travel industry at these unprecedented times, Barb remains her usual friendly, patient self and was helpful in communicating our options for rescheduling and using travel credits toward a future trip. Not only did she go over each option in detail, she talked through the pros and cons and addressed all of our questions with honesty and patience. What we love the most about working with Barb is that we never feel like we're just another client. From the first trip she planned for us to the most recent, it's always felt like she was planning a trip for her own family or friends. She's passionate about what she does, and she's committed to making each and every trip perfect and unforgettable. We can't imagine working with anyone else for our travel needs!
