Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more, and so much of that was thanks to the incredible team at Red Hawk. A very special thank you to Donny, Jordan, and Connor. These three were absolutely amazing! They were so helpful, attentive, professional, and genuinely caring throughout the entire process. They made sure everything ran smoothly and that we didn't have to worry about a single thing on our special day. They were always available when we needed them, incredibly accommodating, and went out of their way to make sure everything was taken care of. You could truly tell that they cared about making our wedding day special, and we are beyond grateful for everything they did for us. As a bride, there are so many emotions and little details that go into planning a wedding, and having a team like this made such a huge difference. I was able to relax, enjoy the moment, and actually be present on one of the most important days of our lives because I knew we were in good hands. Everything was beautifully organized, the service was wonderful, and the entire team made us and our guests feel so welcomed and taken care of. Our guests also had such a wonderful experience, and we received so many compliments about the venue, the food, and the overall service. Everything came together beautifully, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Donny, Jordan, and Connor, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, patience, hard work, and for going above and beyond for us. We know how much work goes into making a wedding run smoothly, and we truly appreciate all the time and effort you put into making ours so special. You all played such an important part in creating memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. If you're considering Red Hawk for your wedding or any special event, we wholeheartedly recommend them. The beautiful venue is one thing, but having a team that genuinely cares about you and your special day makes all the difference. We would choose Red Hawk all over again without hesitation! Thank you again to the entire Red Hawk team for helping make our wedding absolutely unforgettable. We are forever grateful! Love - Cj & Mary Sanders

The bar had several options including some specialty drinks not just your basic beer and wine bar. Greg, was also incredible at crafting a mocktail that made me feel included in the revelry. We started with an elaborate appetizer and hors d'oeuvres bar with so many wonderful flavors. I personally loved the basil cheddar, fresh pesto, the cheeses, dates, apricots and the best hummus I think I've ever had. Dinner was buffet style with Little Gem Salad, Orzo Risotto (my favorite), herbed chicken breast in a champagne beurre blanc sauce and Tri-tip with Chimichurri. Desserts were Apple Crisps and Candy Cane Squares. My favorite part was the appetizers but I did try a bit of everything except the salad and grilled vegetables. Both looked great and the husband said the flavors were perfect. The orzo risotto was my absolute favorite. I can't explain how flavorful this was made with cherry tomatoes, pesto (oh, that's why!), parmesan and orange zest. When we have them cater, we are definitely going to have this as a option. My second favorite was the chicken, which was also my husband's favorite. It was so tender and juicy. My husband said it was moist, but alot of people hate that word. It had just the right amount of herbed spices. I may have made tri tip my third just because of my specific diet, but it was also very tasty. You could tell the chimichurri was freshly made. The tri tip was perfectly cooked to a medium and medium rare. That too is tender and juicy. Finally I can't say enough about the candy cane square. I'm usually not a fan of peppermint desserts but I'll make an exception for the oreo crust and peppermint cream cheese fluff. The apple Crisp was made with fresh apples that really let the natural flavor dominate the palette. There wasn't a lot of sugar on the apples, but they were really sweet. The crisp topping was buttery and sugary to sweeten the dessert without sweetening the apples. I found that mixing the two desserts together was actually pretty phenomenal. All in all, I don't think you can go wrong with this caterer. They put a lot of thought into their menus, and it shows.

I like my food hot, and it's not always the case! I ask all my friends is your food hot, some say "yes" and others say "no". I think the kitchen needs to work closely with the servers. Wednesday is half priced bar drinks, and while their prices are already low, the Wednesday deal is a steal! We ordered several classes of chardonnay, beer, a few shots of tequila, the burger sliders and wings. For a Wednesday night, it is pretty dead, which meant we had the arcade to ourselves and a very attentive waiter. Every round of drinks came out fast, and our food did not take much longer than that. The burger sliders were just that, sliders, but the sauced and dry rubbed wings were great! The rest of our party ordered the pretzel board, pizza, and more wings, which were seemingly good. Our waiter did mention they are revamping their menu, so stay tuned for potential changes in their food offerings.

I was surprised to see how they pushed the entrance area past the barn, but totally makes sense for those who may want to just stop by to shop and not want to enjoy the festivities. The staff were all friendly and kept up with keeping the animal pens clear of poop, especially for the petting ones. They had signage to designate which ones you could feed the animal food to and which ones you couldn't enter due to the animals resting. I really liked how they sectioned off all the animals off to the left side with its own entrance and exit and lots of sanitizing and handwashing stations nearby. They had some new things at the farm too. I saw signage advertising Cuddling with Calves for $20 (kids 8+). They also had some additional calves to see and pet along the way. So adorable! Outside of the animal area, they had a new section, Peacock Pedalers, that allowed kids and adults to ride tricycles around. They also had refreshment stations within the farm for drinks, kettlecorn, and other snacks, which made it convenient. What surprised me was that the features that were typically busy on our past visits, like the mini zip lines and the barrel ride, were very little to no waits. They offered lots of seating for taking a break and grabbing some food from the three food trucks they offered. The pulled pork nachos were yummy! It was a great deal to spend the day at the farm for $20 tickets. Yes, they offered lots of additions like the animal feed, train tickets, and gem sluicing for a price but not really necessary to have a great experience. The baby chicks and goats were the highlight of our visit. My daughter wants to go back next weekend!
