I called So Cal Low Voltage to install a security system. He asked what I was trying to achieve which made me feel like he wanted me to be content in my equipment decision, not just sell me something I didn't need. Then asked when it could be done? He was at my house the next day. Not only did he set it all up, he registered it for me & made sure I knew how to work it. Jim is very professional, prompt, he has clean work and goes above & beyond to make sure you are happy with what he has done. I highly recommend Jim @ So Cal Low Voltage! read more

Jim installed two TVs and a sound system in our new home and we couldn't be happier with the results. He hard wired them through the wall so the ugly cords don't show. He was completely knowledgeable, friendly, punctual, and professional. He was patient with us while teaching us how to operate our new system and he cleaned up after the install. So Cal Low Voltage - Security Systems Near Me

Since the house was flooded and plenty of drywall had to come down, I wanted to do some wiring upgrades. I called SoCal Low Voltage to come in and run all new CATV & network wiring throughout my home. My initial plan was to simply replace the existing with new wires (1970's COAX doesn't cut it anymore), but Jim had a much better idea. Rather than just replace the old wire with new, his idea was to create a distribution hub in the downstairs closet as well as running some additional cabling to the upstairs attic for future expansion. It though this was very smart. This guy obviously knows what he's doing. I'm very pleased with his work and his professionalism. You'd be hard pressed to find a better guy to do Low Voltage work in your home. Thanks Jim! read more

We contacted Jim to get a quote on installing a new tv and possibly a universal remote and some home automation. Jim came that same day for a consulation and he was very professional and knew what he was talking about. He took a look at my new tv and all of my equipment. I explained my struggles with technology and rather than sell me some expensive remotes and more equipment (that another company had suggested) and could possibly leave me even more frustrated, he was honest and gave me a simple solution that I would be able to use. He suggested I try using my existing equipment with the new tv and see how it goes first. So far so good. Jim saved me a lot of money. He's an honest person which I appreciated. read more

Have not worked with this company but witnessed some very unprofessional and dangerous actions while they were driving the work van. While I was on my way to work I was behind their work van. It was a one lane street and they proceeded to speed up on the right side of the street to cut off the person in front of them. The not only almost hit the parked cars in front of them but almost hit the other car and they almost hit the median. Then the driver of the van proceeded to put his car in park trying to fight the driver of the other car. So to get away from this man, the other car threw their car in reverse almost hitting me trying to get out of harms way. Putting people at risk because of your road rage is completely unacceptable and doing it in your work van is completely unprofessional. read more

I would not recommend this company or guy, Jim Navarro (the owner), to anybody. We paid him ahead of time to do a job in our house, and he never finished the job. We had tried to contact him multiple times including text and phone calls. It's not right for somebody to get paid head of time and not finish a job or return any phone calls. When he was doing part of his job at the house, all of the other contractors that were working alongside him said he had the worst attitude and was complaining the entire time too. Save yourself and get a trustworthy guy to do the work. read more
