Yes you read me correct ,a towing company that can and will work with you to get your vehicle back , and not against you so that they can profit off of your misfortune,like far to many other towing companies out there. The guy that came to get my SUV was nice and I could tell he did truly feel bad for my situation, but had a job to do all the same .We joked about My Ford Escape having to be boosted every time I wanted to start the thing ! It was a welcome attitude and smile after what I had just deal with ! Knowing it would be atleast a week until I got paid and could even consider getting my SUV out of towing jail . So when I did call the office to see how much I would have to pay to get my only running vehicle out of impound , there were tears rolling down my face . I have had this situation before and no fault of mine but it still cost me in the end and I lost a good car because of it ! But Darcy and the driver ( sorry forgot his name) worked with me so I was able to affordability get my SUV back ! This would not have been the case with at least one other local towing company out of Didsbury !! Yes I understand this is a business and they are not running charity,and I do know (was married to the fleet mechanic of one of the largest towing company in BC back in the day) first hand that the job these guys do is most times a dirty one ! Tell me honestly more often than not, your not happy to have to call a tow truck as it always means something has gone wrong and that means $$$ Or the other end where the police are involved and they have it impounded from anywhere 24 hrs to 30days ! The drivers put their lives on the line almost daily with most calls,and never know what will be at the other end of the call out when they get to them ! Anyway you look at it, A) It's a dirty job someone has to do B) Try being respect before you start swearing , sometimes it makes things go much smoother for yourself and the company . Got my dodge journey fixed here... when I picked it up, the family pulled up in their dodge journey, & started grabbing THEIR things, such as DVDs, Burger King garbage (no Burger King located in strathmore btw) and toys out of MY VEHICLE. Also had at least 5,000 km added. Not long later, I had to bring my vehicle in due to shaking.... to find out my front right inner and outer tie rods AND ball joint was LOOSE. They let me drive away with loose parts. Later I realized there was a Walmart bag in the back labeled in the back "do not remove from car" and was an opened half used pack of red SOLO cups and napkins. RECENTLY, I noticed my spare tire tool kit/ tire jack that came with my car (with a specially fitted spot for the back under the storage) was also missing. They also tried pulling out my internally installed Bluetooth + Connect. (Which they left hanging b/c they ruined placement). I believe they were stealing piece of my car for their own family car. Also, there is a weird paint sprayed all over the drivers side and roof of my car, when I questioned it they tried to say it was battery acid (due to accident), but there was no such marks prior to bringing it in. Which now is chipping & ruining actual paint. Please save yourself time + money, go anywhere else.

It was a difficult recovery that took quite a bit of ingenuity and skill on Kevin's behalf. I had no phone service and the RCMP had to call in the tow after I made a 911 call. If I could I would give them negative stars. Locked my keys…read moreout of my car at work. My bad, it happens. They got assigned to unlock my car. Estimate to get to me 1h 45 min. That is cool. I get that. I confirmed with the operator to please call me before arriving because my car was in the back parking lot at work. Tow truck showed up and spoke with security. Security said to call the number they were given. The female driver looked at her dog and asked, "What do you think? Should we call her?" Then she looked back at security. "Naw, we are leaving." Security came running to me and told me they left. I called roadside assistance to see if she could turn around. Roadside assistance contacted the driver and gave them an estimate of 20 min. 10 min later, roadside assistance called to say that it went from 20 min to 2 hours. The operator found a different company and it was going to be 90 minutes. I contacted City Wide Towing to ask WTF happened. Their operator blamed me for not answering my phone. I told them that she NEVER called me. They stated that in the notes they did. Sorry dude but I have 2 witnessess that state your driver asked her DOGS opinion and then just left. So very unprofessional on all ends. This was Nov 1st between the hours of 5-8. Not even 5 min after I hung up with the rude operator, did TRIPLE A TOWING call me. Said he would be there in 45 min. He got there in 40. How is it that Mazda Roadside Assistance, Triple A Towing and my friend can all get through to my phone but City Wide cannot? Simple. Driver lied and preferred to waste everyone's time. Worst of all, City Wide Towing operator didn't even apologize.

Clearly not interested in any other business, I was given the excuse that they were too busy with Police calls. Fair enough - if you can't provide service, please just say so. I would have been satisfied. Instead I am stuck having to re-arrange my service appointment, find another towing company, and write crappy reviews. I'm not mad - I'm disappointed. I guess I expected better. Shame on me.
