We went there to celebrate my birthday. I asked if they had the Moretti's BBQ pizza. They said yes. Great! I ordered it. That isn't what I got. Moretti's BBQ is BBQ sauce with bacon, sausage, pepperoni and onion. I got no bacon, so sausage and no pepperoni. It had chicken on it. I thought maybe I ordered wrong. But when I google Moretti's BBQ pizza, I wasn't wrong, the restaurant didn't serve me what I wanted. Highly disappointed. I'll return, but won't make that mistake twice. Terrible service, dirty, and stupidly expensive. Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy so when things were moving a little slow it was understandable, but our server rarely checked on us or her other tables. Food runners came out to our table multiple times with the wrong orders because our server kept putting down the wrong table numbers. It took us over an hour to get our food and one entree never even came out. The serve came out a few minutes later and saw only three entrees on the table and wasn't going to say anything, we had to point it out. She said she would go check on the food. Came back 10 minutes later and said it would be right out. 10 minutes later, still no food. We went in to talk to the manager and all she had to say was "if you had told us sooner we could have given you free drinks" as if we knew the food was going to take over an hour and a half. At this point our server is still dilly dallying, hanging out by the soda machine. One of her tables also waited an hour for their food and she rang in the wrong order for them and the lady took it anyway because she didn't want to be there any longer. It was busy, but there seemed to be no issues with tables in other sections getting their food in a timely manner, just her tables that had the issues. We asked to make the missing entree to go. Another 15 minutes went by before we had to hound her for our checks. I should've know the service would be bad when we first sat down and one of her tables had to get up and find her to pay their bill. Not the mention- the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting and sinks don't work. Went to the bathroom when we first got there and a table inside wasn't bussed. Went to the bathroom again right before leaving, 2 and a half hours later, the table still wasn't busses. read more

We were greeting well by the host, our waitress, Sky was kind, came right away and gave great service. The hostess had asked whether we preferred sun or shade, we picked sun, it was a beautiful view. Mixed drink specials were fantastic, the strawberry daiquiri and Kentucky mule hit the spot on a hot summer day. We had gotten a the blackened chick flatbread (amazing) and the everything burger also a great choice. Overall a great experience!! Will be back!!! read more

The setting is veeeerrry casual but comes with a great view and atmosphere. The food was good, but nothing to write home about either. I ordered the Fish n' chips and it was good minus the coleslaw not having much flavor and the tartar tasting very artificial. The fish itself was tasty. Food was phenomenal, but it took one hour before we got our chicken. Waitress disappeared - it would have been nice if someone (even the manager) would have mentioned if there was a problem getting the chicken order. It was 90 degrees outside on Saturday, so restaurant was not busy outside. Also took over 20 minutes at the beginning to get a glass of wine and lemonade, then waitress never brought the water I ordered. I asked another waitress to bring it and she did. So this is definitely a fun place in the summer. Lots of outdoor seating on the water and enjoyable time. The food was good. I had fried chicken and my son had a steak. My other son had a burger, the mash potatos with the steak was not great. The steak was cooked perfectly and tasted good The fried chicken was very good actually they say . It was a broasted chicken, I don't like the french fries they had but my kids did. I did have a piece of carrot cake that has a good flavor and definitely look at the cake again we got cheese curds do not recommend those. They were mediocre at best but definitely a fun atmosphere to go hang out and enjoy some fun times in the summer. read more

Went in there today at halftime to watch the rest of the Bears Packers game after a long 8 mile hike. The service was great, the chicken was great, the banana cake was great as well as our waitress. We had a great time. I will give snuggery five out of five stars! Well done! read more

Usually eat in house and never really had a problem with the food which is why we kept coming back. We ordered our usual this last time around which is a fish dinner and a Mac and cheese pizza which they are "famous" for, the fish dinner were fish pieces the size of nuggets and the pizza smelled foul and tasted even worse like bad cheese. We called to see what they could do since we've always had a pleasant experience but they refused to do anything other than remake it (it's a 30 min drive for us and we weren't going to drive back for another crappy pizza) or offer a "discount for a future visit". They stated that if we had paid cash they could refund us but since we didn't they couldn't as that's handled by "corporate" and can't do anything about it. We paid and tipped for this so now we're out $25 for the pizza, out a $10 tip and have to throw away a whole inedible pizza. Truly disappointing. read more

I prefer Snuggery to their sister restaurant Famous Freddie's. I think the food, drinks, and experience are better here. They are located right on the river and have a pretty view with lights on their docks so it's still pretty even if you come after the sunset. The service for us has normally been pretty slow and they have gotten our order wrong on more than one occasion, but we still come back. Their menu has a decent variety. I generally get either the chicken sandwich or the fish fry and I like both. Order their beer nuggets as an appetizer for the table - you won't regret it. read more

I am so sorry. I completely change my mind about this place. We had such a wonderful time on Memorial Day (see previous review) that we brought our cousins/extended family here to grab a bite and some drinks by the water. They were in town for the 4th and we had raved about the Snuggery. I checked in with the host that we had a party of 8, plus a dog, and requested two tables on the grassy area near the dock, outside of the gated area. The hostesses were kind and said they would check with their manager and reassured us that they would start setting up the table once they have approval. Just over a month ago, we were welcomed as a family and loved our experience. The staff were courteous and helped us get set-up with everything. Plus, we were side-by-side with another family with their dog on the grass. I kindly mentioned all of this to the hostesses, about how we came back because essentially, we thought they rocked! However, I don't know why we were treated so rudely this time, or the reason for their inconsistency. The manager, an older gentleman, stormed out to confront us and... what came out of his mouth was threatening. I was shocked and saddened that my family could not enjoy a nice meal by the river on the 4th of July. I don't know if it was the color of my skin, my hair, or my race/ethnicity but as an American, I am most of all heartbroken that in this day and age, discrimination can still be so blatantly displayed. read more

Great place to do outside dining if the sun isn't beating down on you causing sweat to drip onto your food or the friggin' wind is blowing causing eyes to water, food getting cold or some other foreign material sprinkling your food. Good service on a busy Sunday late afternoon. The daughter and husband had pizza, which they said was excellent. The barbecued pork sandwich, which my son-in-law had was large, flavorful and good. My chicken sandwich was a chicken sandwich flavorful and they got it right as I requested some special items on it. Overall, you can't beat the view. Every Summer the Snuggery figures they can screw people because they are so busy with outdoor traffic. Those of us that cone here year around realize whenvwe are getting screwed. Recently they changed their Chicken Finger to less. Than half what they used to serve. When I asked the manager that they chance more often than your underwear, she told me we haven't made any changes. This coming from someone who makes less than I spend there. Then as I was leaving, I saw I don't know if he was a server or manager, but he dropped a piece of cheese off someone's slice of pizza , picked it back up and put it on, and served it to them.
