It's definitely geared towards kids and not babies or toddlers. The toddler area is about 1/3 of the main playground area but the rest is for a slightly older crowd, not that they limit based on age. Which is a nice touch since all kids develop at different rates. The free weekend was a great way for us to check out the business to see if the membership made sense for our family. We occasionally avail ourselves of the mini bowling and arcade (there are price packages if you want to play multiple things), but the mini golf is our jam. The actual entry includes varying interactive Barbie scenes such as her closet, space ship, the beach, pool (ball pit), her Barbie camper, music studio just to name a few. You basically take pics with different backdrops. It's nice but not at $44.00. I got the build-it add experience so I can review it. You will get a Barbie that's probably worth less than $10 in store. There weren't a lot of options to choose from. You get a beautiful commemorative box to put everything in. You get to pick 2 pairs of shoes, 3 accessories and only 2 clothing items, which means you get either 1 outfit or 2 dresses. I wish they gave the option to have two complete dress items. The outfits are not the high quality that you remember as a kid and the shoes are actually ill fitting for the Barbie's feet. Not worth $55 but for a little less would be a nice experience. When I went there was a spring break sale my entire ticket was 30% off, which made this experience a more appropriate for the price.

The place is cute and colorful. There is a restaurant on site of the hotel, gift shop, over packed pool, etc. I stayed at an Aloft about fifteen minutes away, also in Frisco. The resort is also on a toll road so if you're driving, know that! As for the park itself, I paid $76 for single day, adult ticket... Ridiculous IMO but it was for my nieces birthday! My family was able to enter at 9am, a perk of staying on site, I however, had to wait until 10am. Parking is $20-30 a day for those just visiting the park. Now as for the park itself, when they say 10am, they mean it, because they held the line until that very moment. You do have to go through metal detectors. I had a normal sized backpack full of water, juice and snacks and got through with no issues. We were immediately greeted by Gabby dancing and engaging the crowd. The rides are close but spread out at the same time in the various lands on the premises. We headed to minion area and they embarked on few rides and we hit Bikini Bottom where they met SpongeBob and a few of his friends! There is absolutely NOT enough shade! The lines were fine, about a fifteen minute wait at each BUT once we got to the top of two, they both went down and needed to be repaired which took an additional twenty minutes each time, we waited when most just went on to the next ride. We ordered three hot dogs from Gooey Goobers. Two regular and one chili and cheese dog. The chili and cheese was an additional cost but they all came with fries, $28. Water and ice was throughout the park, you can bring your own cups or buy one! I didn't eat anything else while I was there, as I said, I had my own snacks! There are plenty of shaded and covered areas, indoor/outdoor dining, misting stations, cooling stations, water refill spots, and splash pads for kids and adults. We joined in and had a blast. The staff was amazing from ticketing to security to performers. All wearing a smile with their new uniforms or costumes. Everyone was friendly and upbeat. The entertainers were genuinely talented with great choreography and energy. Lines were short, and the park even has sensory stations with benches and landscaping for anyone who needs a quiet break. Lots of food options , Mexican, Italian, burgers, pizza, and more. We had burgers and chicken nuggets, and everything was delicious. Dessert stations are everywhere. If you plan to return, get the season pass and definitely buy the refill cup ,unlimited refills and a big cup. We loved the rides, and the kids met all their favorite characters. Even I got a photo with SpongeBob and the Minions. The shops are well stocked with toys, backpacks, clothing, and accessories.
