Not too crunchy and icy but not too melts either--it's almost a weird "fluffy" ice. They know how to "color their cone" as I put it. Meaning, there is never any flavorless snow, and boy oh boy is it tasty! Quantity: There are a plethora of sizes to choose from, as well as the coveted "Daysie's Flower Cup". It makes ordering and eating more fun! They also give away punch cards, buy ten get one free. HOLLA. Location: They are in a great location, right off Main Street and in Smiths parking lot. Umbrella tables dot that parking lot, making for the perfect place to enjoy your cone while people watching. Flavors: There are loads of flavors to choose from! I recommend blue raspberry, French vanilla, coconut, lemon (it's my own concoction I like to call "Ocean Pacific"). My sister likes red raspberry cheesecake with cream. Some other favorites include "Blue Crush" and "White Tiger"--I'm not going to tell you what they are, you'll just have to go and see for yourself :) Either way, what is nice about Daysie's is that they'll mix and match flavors and really satisfy that craving you have. There are many elements that make a shave ice beyond amazing and I have a checklist to see if a shave ice place meets my requirements. The Daily Shave Ice did not disappoint! The first item I look for is flavor. The Daily Shave Ice has a variety of flavors, including sugar free. They have the classic flavors (tigers blood) to the tropical flavors (mango) that I always order on my shave ice. Bonus points if they offer additional items to add to it, like ice cream on the bottom and condensed milk on top. The Daily Shave offers both and I absolutely recommend it. Together, it totally elevates the shave ice. The second item is the quality of ice. This ice was very smooth and snow like. The softer the ice, the better it is. What I wasn't expecting was the size. They really pack on the ice! I ordered a small and it was massive. It was a fun surprise when I picked it up at the window. Overall, this place knows how to make a shave ice. The ice is soft, the flavors are awesome and the size is huge. A great treat on a summer day.
