It was 9:45am, if it was later then I'd more so understand a cold donut that's been sitting there a bit longer. I expected a better quality if we're spending nearly $20 for a few donuts and 3 kolaches. I normally stick to my favorite shipleys in league city off of Main St. we just happened to be going to Galveston and stopped by this one.

The prices are very affordable, my sandwich and three donuts were just $9. They do offer 3% off if you pay with cash. Next to the entrance, they do have a cooler with drinks and they even sell some local honey off to the side. It's best to get it to go or you can sit at their limited counter space. But I locked in and managed to walk away with only 4. We ordered a Cherry, Pumpkin, Peach and Sausage Maple Bacon. They all ranged from good to great, with pumpkin being my absolute favorite. I wish we had been able to heat up the savory one, but we had nearly a 2 hour drive home ahead of us and no chance to wait that long to actually devour it.
