I stopped in during the seasonal flavor changeover, so they were running low on a few options. The server told me they were restocking the new flavors the next day. I was hoping to try the vanilla lavender, but I'll have to save that for another visit. Instead, I went with the butter pecan crunch, which the server said is their best-selling flavor. It had a rich, creamy texture, though I thought it could have used a little more flavor. The richness was just on the edge of being a bit too heavy, but it was still a good scoop of ice cream. As I was leaving, a large family was enjoying ice cream together, and it reinforced the feeling that this is a neighborhood spot locals genuinely support. I always enjoy finding local ice cream shops when I travel, and Wild Honey is worth a stop if you're in downtown Longview.

Management should train to keep the line moving, have one person help the customer all the way down to the register and then go back to helping other customers. It's a lot faster and more efficient. They have many different and fun flavors to try. However, I think it's a bit more pricey than baskin Robbins or one of the chain ones but you can definitely taste the difference in the quality of the ice cream. I haven't had much of their ice cream but it was good all the time. Additionally, I have always had a good experience here in terms of service. Never had a problem with them in any way. They host a few cute events for the family and for your friends so be on the lookout on the Instagram/ Facebook page. Overall, the service and the ice cream were good. Being from New Orleans, I can truly say that they do not have snowballs, what they have are snow cones. The ice was hard and very crunchy, compared to snowballs which are made with soft and fluffy ice. So if you are looking for a real snowball, this isn't the place. I decided to go back and try the ice cream (since that is what they are known for). The ice cream I had was okay, but it was a little too soft for me. I prefer ice cream that is more firm, but the flavor was good.
