The night tickets here are from 4-9pm which still gives some daylight to snowboard down at least 5 times before it gets dark :) The only lift open at night is Sundown, but really that's all I need when there's sunsets to look at. The trails are all fun for me and I haven't gotten bored yet going down all of them multiple times. Most of the trails are wide with a few natural jumps which makes it kind of like a different trail every time. Parking is easy. We usually get here by 3:30 to be ready to go right at 4 and haven't had any issues. The road however, if it's snowing make sure you have snow tires or chains because people have slid off the road. Also, it's not crowded here during the week nights so no line to get on the lift! We actually leave around the time more people start coming soooo maybe it's more crowded after 7... Anyways, definitely recommend checking it out!

Fun little ski and snowboard operation in Eden, UT. Has a family run operation feel because of the…read morerustic facilities and nestled among rural valley farming communities. In 2024 the main building they used fir operations burned down in a fire. Now the operation is run out of a portable construction trailer with a few food trucks and porto potties strewn about. The benefit to riding a mountain like this is the low cost. If you purchase tickets in advance online you can find lifts as low as $19 that includes some snacks with an f&b credit. The base elevation is low compared to an LCC resort. Slightly over 6000 ft, at base. So snow doesn't stick around long after spring. I have been here when it's snowing on the top and raining at the base. It's a fun little place to snowboard. The have a new high speed 6 pack chair on the other part of the mountain away from base operations. That is the better section of mountain with more consistent snow. Enjoy!

A bit confusing on where to go to check in, but we found it no less than 5 mins after we arrived. The staff were SUPER friendly, and totally rad. They take care of you and make sure you have a good time! It wasn't over crowded at all. We paid for 4 hours, but only stayed about 2 hours and got about 8 runs in. The staff bros take their time to explain the process, hand you a tube and you're on your way! Get your tube, take it to the lift thing. You sit in the tube and the guy hooks it up to send you on your way to the top. Many little kids and many adults. Fun for all ages!! There were two runs for the tubes, and both were fun! Totally make sure you have gloves, a hat and don't forget chapstick!!!

This is one of the best ski resorts I've been to, though may not be ideal for beginners, as some of…read morethe blue runs feel tougher than black diamonds at smaller resorts. This was my first season skiing, and my first time here I made the mistake of going up Gadzoom and Little Cloud chairs and got cliffed out in Little Cloud Bowl with all the black diamonds. I wasn't going to call ski patrol to take me down in the basket like my friend did at the top of Gadzoom after having a panic attack, and slowly, tediously made my way down. It was quite the adventure, looking back. I couldn't believe how long it took and how much distance and vertical drop I covered to get to the bottom; the runs here are some of the longest I've been on. One benefit of this resort over Alta is not needing parking reservations during weekends, which saved my ski day one Saturday I tried going to Alta without a parking reservation, then had to come here after talking to the parking attendant there putting $250 tickets on cars without reservations. The skiable area is massive here as well, and there's a whole other skiable side of the mountain (Mineral Basin) with breathtaking views you get to by taking this conveyer belt thing through a secret mining tunnel. The hoards of snowboarders do cause way more lines and congestion here than Alta, and I had to wait in line for a while for the tram on a Saturday. Luckily I soon found the secret tunnel I won't disclose the location of, and was able to ski at Mineral Basin with no lines the rest of that day. There's a lot more moguls and worse snow coverage here than Alta as well, though this year was an extreme outlier and the worst snow year in 4+ decades. It's a shame the Ikon pass only has 7 days to split between here and Alta, as I used up most of my days at Alta and didn't get a chance to explore all the different areas of this vast resort this season.

Little cottonwood canyon receives (objectively) the highest quality snow in the world (And a lot of it!). Some of the hardest, gnarliest terrain in the world is found across the entire resort. Some of my favorite adolescent memories reside here, and snowbird will always hold a special place in my heart. I could go on and on about the endless pros and minimal cons, but I believe every passionate skier deserves to experience the magic of the Wasatch mountains for themselves... As soon as my family stepped into the resort, we were met by warm and kind people. Beginning at the front desk, there was complimentary teas and coffee that is offered. They will give you a pamphlet containing a map and all kinds of activities that you can explore at the resort. I appreciated the high quality paper material that this pamphlet was made of. Activities that we highly recommend you do not miss: the hot springs, morning yoga, skiing/snowboarding, hiking, and Sunday Brunch (especially if you are able to apply any resort credit to this). We appreciated the privileges and accesses that were offered for lodging guests. My family and I had booked this place with the points we received through a credit card. We were able to receive an upgrade for our stay due to this - so if you also have a travel package that can allow for this, please be sure to ask! Whatever help we needed whether it be in getting another bathroom robe or a ride to the ski school, the people here sincerely helped us without ever making us feel like a burden. I really want to acknowledge and thank all those who have contributed to making the magic happen here for our family to have a good time. The character of the people here is shown when they shovel the bunny hills for the kids and families. A wonderful place, we hope to be back again. Thank you all for our stay!
