I just get night tickets here so this review is for that. The views are breathtaking! Sunsets are beautiful, the people here are chill, and the runs are fun! The night tickets here are from 4-9pm which still gives some daylight to snowboard down at least 5 times before it gets dark :) The only lift open at night is Sundown, but really that's all I need when there's sunsets to look at. The trails are all fun for me and I haven't gotten bored yet going down all of them multiple times. Most of the trails are wide with a few natural jumps which makes it kind of like a different trail every time. Parking is easy. We usually get here by 3:30 to be ready to go right at 4 and haven't had any issues. The road however, if it's snowing make sure you have snow tires or chains because people have slid off the road. Also, it's not crowded here during the week nights so no line to get on the lift! We actually leave around the time more people start coming soooo maybe it's more crowded after 7... Anyways, definitely recommend checking it out! read more

Had a fantastic private lesson as a first time skier with Paul! Worth every penny for the full day session (930-330). I had tried skiing once back in 2011 and it ended after 90mins with me being skied down the bunny slope in tears by one of my friends. That was a scarring enough experience to keep me off the mountain for over a DECADE! I came into my private lesson, which I shared with a friend, with zero hopes/expectation. When my friend mentioned that I'd be going down the actual lift by lunch time, I was highly skeptical, but Paul was so helpful and patient and had both of us on the lift just after lunch, much to my surprise/delight! He explained and demonstrated proper body positioning, angles, movements etc and was just so encouraging! I fell a lot, of course, but by the end of our lesson, I actually was trying a couple of blue routes with him. Powder itself is a really cool spot, a little farther out and was less crowded than Alta which we went to the following day (could be because it was midweek-Thursday- though). It's definitely got a grungy/purist vibe to it, but still a welcoming/inviting atmosphere, and coming from a complete novice, it's a great spot to get started! read more

As avid skiers based in Park City, we've explored nearly every ski resort in the area, from Deer Valley, Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Solitude, Sundance & Snowbasin. After hearing countless great things about Powder Mountain, we decided to make the scenic hour-and-a-half drive for a midweek visit (Tuesday after MLK weekend), and we couldn't have been more impressed. The drive to Powder Mountain was breathtakingly beautiful, and parking was a breeze. We opted for the Timberline parking area, which was conveniently mid-mountain and served as the starting point for their Complimentary Mountain Tour. Arriving early, we waited in the cozy skier services yurt, where Angela G. provided exceptional hospitality. She gave us insider tips on the mountain, local dining recommendations, and even handed out some Powder Mountain stickers. Her proactive attitude ensured that our experience started on the right note. When the tour began, our hosts, Tate and Bob, were nothing short of fantastic. Tate's dad jokes kept the mood light, and his deep knowledge of the terrain made navigating this vast mountain much easier. He catered to our 14-year-old son's enthusiasm for steeps and challenging runs by pointing out the best spots and explaining how to access the "secret" areas. Powder Mountain truly lives up to its name. Despite no fresh snow for a week, we discovered untouched powder and had vast areas seemingly to ourselves. The diversity of terrain was impressive with groomed greens and blues perfect for cruising, scenic bowls and rolling meadows, gorgeous aspen glades and thrilling steeps, backcountry terrain, and hike-to areas like James Peak. There's something for everyone, making it an ideal destination whether you're a beginner or an expert. We took a break at Timberline Lodge for lunch, and the pizza was incredible. The pulled pork banh mi was flavorful, the spicy Hawaiian had a perfect kick, and our son's classic pepperoni didn't disappoint. The quality of food exceeded expectations for on-mountain dining. The combination of Powder Mountain's outstanding customer service, extensive terrain, and serene atmosphere made it one of the best ski days we've had. It's hard to believe such an expansive and uncrowded resort is just a short drive from Park City. Pretty much done with Powder Mountain after this season. First of all, the pass prices are preposterous considering that there are only two high speed lifts and, in a low snow year (like 24-25) the season is too short to justify the price given the lack of snow making. Two of the three new lifts, for some unimaginable reason, are slower than molasses. Why bother? The "lodges" are an antiquated, really unattractive mess, as is the retail store and equipment rental operation. Merchandise for sale is generally low end boarder stuff. Don't know what's in store for the privatized area, but there certainly isn't much in the public area to attract the type of clientele they seem to be shooting for. It seems like the high pass prices are now subsidizing the fledgling real estate operation. The website is very poor and does not provide timely morning information. Not nearly equal to other resorts. Food is lousy and served on paper, with plastic utensils, despite being price the same as Snowbasin, where first class restaurant service is standard. A much better alternative to the expensive Powder pass is a Snowbasin/base Ikon combination, which provides unlimited access at Snowbasin and enough days at dozens of resorts in the West and worldwide. Spent the morning on Paradise Lift, did Hidden Lake a few times before taking the cat twice up the hill to ski lightning ridge. It was my first trip to Powder Mountain. I chose to take my customers there because of the snowcat options that can take riders beyond/above lift accessible terrain. We found untracked powder 1-week after the last snowfall!! It took us a little over an hour to get to Pow Mtn from SLC, pretty much about the same time it would've taken to get to closer ski areas because of traffic and tourist impact, but guaranteed we wouldn't have found powder in those other highly congested ski areas! I recommend heading to Pow Mtn for a unique experience! read more

They have some amazing routes to ski on weather you are a beginner or advanced they have something for everyone! They have an upper and lower routes. The upper ones closed at 4pm so definitely recommend going there in the early am and then if you still want to go till the evening they have night area on the lower part which is super fun too! read more

So - Powder Mountain used to be a premier ski resort until the present owner Hastings took over. Been skiing there for almost 40 years. Hastings doubled the price of passes, took away some of the best skiing on the mountain in order to privatize the area for those folks rich enough to buy into his "village", and took away the limitations on passes and tickets. So not only is there less terrain for most of us, there is a lot more crowding compared to previous years. Oh yes, in February they only low season pass holders on the weekends. Except that almost everyone is a pass holder! And anyone without 3 people in their car must pay for parking. Oh well. Not much value for the $$. read more

We love going to pow mow every December with friends... it's a magical winter wonderland filled with slopes of endless powder. We just got back from Powder Mountain a week ago & it did not disappoint. My only complaints were the new system they use for lift tickets- super buggy & not intuitive, and the line to get rentals was insane, and took over an hour to get my boots & skis. This place is a hidden treasure & is not as well known as other ski resorts in Utah.... Hoping it stays that way because we'll continue to go back for years to come! read more

There is a lot to love about Powder Mountain. The skiing and snowboarding here are just as good as some of the larger name brand resorts a little further south, but with lower prices and less crowding. The lift lines are never long. There is a ton of terrain for all skill levels and it's easy to access. Whether you want cliffs, or a family of 4 who just wants leisurely ride down easy runs, you can access either one from Paradise and Hidden Lake lifts. You can also drive right up to the hill and start skiing, don't even need to take a lift first. Park at Timberline lodge and ski DOWN to the lift. The drive up to Powder Mountain is as easy as you will find at any ski area. Even when there is a ton of snow on the mountain, there aren't any difficult areas on the short drive up. One complaint is that there is no where to go inside and sit down anymore, and all food is ordered at windows and eaten outside. This sucks when it is cold outside and you have been riding for hours. Someone, somewhere imagines they are "fighting" "covid," and the 99.99% survival rate of those who contract it. As stupid as this is, you can't blame the people running the place, they are basically being held at gunpoint. Overall a great place to snowboard or ski, and very easy to get to, 30 min from Ogden. read more

My gf and I had an amazing time at powder mountain. They've done a great job of implementing covid measures and politely and vigilantly asking skiers to put on their masks while in the lift line. There's always the odd person who decides they don't need to wear their mask properly but they are thankfully few and far between. It's comforting to know how seriously the staff are taking it. The ski shop was also great to rent from, I rented the performance package and was able to work out a deal on the 3rd day of my 7 day rental to buy the skis and boots outright. They gave me a fair deal which I'm super appreciative of as I was locked into the rents regardless. The views at powder mountain are incredible and the lift lines are short. Only wish there was more snow this year but that's up to the snow gods. read more

The 4 and 5 star reviews are baloney. Been skiing 50 years- Utah, western USA, New England, and Europe. I heard this was a former mom-and-pop owned place. The chairlifts are extremely slow and old- like early 1960s old. Mary's was the worst- barely moved. Every single chairlift needs to be removed and high speed quads put in. The place is all disjointed and the ticketing is awful. Had to buy online, wait it kine when I got there to pick up. The Netflix guy bought this place and said he's investing $100 million, but reading the story, looks like investing in junk like yurt, back.country skiing, homes for the rich. This place would be good if there were high speed lifts all over that actually connected. The snow was great, but massive real investment in chairlifts needs to happem, and immediately. read more

There was way too much snow. Most of the time it was hitting me in my shins, and sometimes even my waist. Plus there were very few people to talk to in the lift lines. Visitors should go to Park City where there are lots of people to hang out with. read more

OMG, the best day snowboarding ever! Just perfect the perfect storm of conditions! A snowstorm and come thru a few days before and laid down calf high powder. We spent 2 days here, one day it was a bit whited out at the top but once you got past the white out conditions at the top if the lift the rest 3/4 of the run was all powder thru trees and between runs. On day 2 it was just perfect conditions untracked pow all day! A day i will never forget! The mountain can be quite confusing. The parking lot and lodge are not at the bottom of the hill, with all the lifts and runs above you the way most resorts are set up. Infact there are 3 different parking lots located in the, middle, and top of the mountain. Once you get on the lift and take a run you can no longer see the parking lot. Its quite a different lay out than your normal ski resort. The trial map is quite confusing and deceiving as to where you can go. Fortunately you can hire a guide for $165 for half day or $220 full day (up to 6 people) which is totally worth it if you've never been here before. The place used to be a small mom and pop place, but recently got bought out by a bigger company so there are 2 new lifts Mary's and Village which there is going to be a new Village and rental properties built in the future. Lucky for us they were offering free tours of the new lifts. So we had a guide take our group of 4 thru the maze of lifts and runs that is Powder Mountain and took us thru to the new lifts. I don't know if we could have found our way there without him, we would have probably just stayed at another section of the mountain. There is also Powder Country, which is all back diamond out of bounds type terrain. We got into knee to waist high powder here, it was all thru trees and very steep at times, and you end up boarding along side the road you drove in on. When you get to the bottom meet up by a bus stop that take you back up. It's quite odd but also quite genus at the same time to take advantage of the terrain getting up to the resort. Just be sure to stay in the boundary markers or they won't find you till the snow thaws in the summer. You can also go down lighting ridge by taking a one time cat ride $25, to go down nice steep bowls and untouched powder, its only a one time deal but its so much fun! If i could do this all day i could, i wish they'd just build a lift up Lightning Ridge so i could ride it all day but i guess that would just get destroyed after just a few hours. Its the cost of taking the cat ride that keeps is so pristine! Powder Mountain is easily my favorite resort. I only recommend it for intermediate and advanced levels because not all the runs connect to a single lift or lodge. If you take a wrong turn you may be forced to go up and around it could take you quite awhile to get back to where you want to go. I also don't recommend it for large groups of people who've never been there before unless you hire a guide for the day, it would be very easy for one person to be lost all day, that could be a nightmare for someone who doesn't know the mountain. They only allow 2000 people per day which keeps the place quite empty since the mountain is vast and spread out. While i was there there was only on average just about 500 tickets sold per day, which was epic! I also like that they no longer sell drinks in plastic bottles instead at each lodge they have partnered with mizu (stainless steel bottles) and installed filtered watering stations and sell Mizu SS water bottles. Way to go green! There are many hidden places to board between runs, between trees, hidden bowls . I'm not going to give them away. read more

Where to begin with this establishment... Lets start off with my group ski lesson with my mother. Craig was our ski instructor, when we got there he began the lesson by assuming we had altitude sickness (without us having any kinds of symptoms). We informed him that we did not have any symptoms or sickness, then we moved to the anatomy of the ski and putting on the ski. We then did 2 or 3 turns down the incline by the school, then moved up to the hill near the restroom and we went down that once. Once we did that we felt semi-good, as first time skiers we had no idea how to estimate our progress. Then, Craig told us that we were ready to go up the mountain. He couldn't have been more wrong. We barely made it onto the ski lift, then getting off of it was a disaster. Craig told us to lift up our legs, then step off and turn left. It all happened within 5 seconds, I was 2 feet from rolling down the backside of the mountain and my mother had made it 2 feet off the lift. All Craig did was stand there and tell us "get up." He did not ask us if we were okay or anything. Fast forward to 20 minutes later, my mother runs into a tree and I go zooming down the mountain with 0 control. All Craig said when I went zooming down was "there she goes!" No concern, what so ever. I crash 1/2 down the mountain, and crawl to the edge of the slope. 10 minutes later he comes down with my mom and jokingly asks if I was okay. The level of unprofessionalism and lack of concern for our safety was absolutely appalling. What is more disappointing is that was our only lesson for the week, therefore we will not be skiing here at Powder Mountain again. What is more upsetting is it is not a family friendly environment, the majority of the staff are not friendly to first time skiers or even families. You are more of an inconvenience to them, and they make sure you know it. My other complaint is that there are no bunny hills to ski down for beginners, its only a 50 yard area then the big mountain. This is a wonderful place for anyone who does not have kids and are experienced skiers. If you do not qualify as this then do not waste your time or money on Powder Mountain. The second important issue is the Ski Patrol/ Rescue at Powder Mountain. If you go and watch a lesson you will see tons of them, doing drills going up and down the mountain. However, I urge you to pay close attention to if they ever actually go help someone. My brother and I had skied down the run by Powder Village and not realized that the lift had closed. We began to walk back up the mountain because there was no road at the bottom of the runs, only at the top of the mountain. An hour and a half into the hike we are freezing, it is in the twenties, and the snow is so deep we sink down to our thighs and knees (we are relatively tall people, 6'3 and 5'8). We call our mom and explain the situation, she then calls Powder Mountain and explains the situation. The lady she spoke to on the phone said "well we can't do anything due to a new policy that allows guests to walk around the park until 9pm, and we don't even have people on that side of the mountain. Therefore we cannot do anything for you, you are going to have to go get them yourself or call 911." She called us back and told us that no one could come get us. We get back to the condo after 3 hours of going up the side of the mountain, we both had hypothermia. Yes, we were wrong for skiing down the mountain and not realizing by the time we got down to the mountain 30 min after the lift had closed. However, what kind of ski resort says that when two people are in danger in their resort. I hope this review helps someone and if you do decide to go to Powder Mountain that you have a better experience than we did. read more

However - DON'T BUY THE 5 PACK OR ANY TICKETS IN ADVANCE. ONLY BUY SAME DAY/DAY OF. We purchased 2 of the 5 packs in advance for a slight 8-10 dollar savings per ticket....not worth it at all and a totally ridiculous "policy". Our son was feeling sick and we decided it would be best to stay home so we called and asked about rescheduling. We were told we're blocking others from being able to reserve and that they do not offer any rescheduling options. First of all - they're not full so anyone can go ahead and still book. Second - our son is feeling sick so I guess they're expecting you to go anyway even if you're sick.....NOT SAFE OR REASONABLE GIVEN THE TIMES. Every other mountain/resort in the area has reasonable cancellation and/or rescheduling policies. NOT Powder. Shame on your guys for not supporting the clients supporting you. read more

My first time skiing out west and I came here b/c of the great reputation: cheaper lift tickets, less crowded and the best snow. I can't give a valid opinion on the snow, but I will say that I did find the prices to be less than those of the surrounding resorts, it was definitely not crowded (very tolerable on the weekend) and the snow was real purty. One thing to mention is that if you buy your lift tickets at the resort, they're $58. If you buy them at the hotel where you're staying or Diamond Peak (as someone else mentioned), you can get them for the same rate/day as a 3 day pass, which is $49. Day passes go from 9 am - 4:30 pm, but some of the lifts close at 3:30 and 4, so make sure you take note of that when planning your route. In fact, if you get a night pass ($15 for 3-9 pm), there's only one lift operating, Sundown (I believe), which only has a few runs. So as a newb to skiing out west, this was an interesting experience for me. I only took the easy runs, but I found some of them to be quite challenging. Namely, Drifter, and parts of East 40. Those two had some very steep parts so if you're not used to that, it can be quite an interesting experience to ski them. Especially b/c Drifter is the slope right by the main lodge, so if you're just getting into the park for the day, you'll probably start out on it and it has a steep drop at the beginning, unless you take the path that veers to the left. I drove by Snowbasin on my way out of town and took a look at the resort. Much more commercial looking than Powder Mountain. PM is more about the skiing--no actual restaurants there, just places to get snacks and the slopes weren't swarmed. The fellow skiers weren't snooty, as I've heard they can be at other places, and like others said, the wait for lifts isn't bad. Even though supposedly only 25% of their runs are easy, I'm not even sure I made it to all of them in those 3 days. Word of warning: if you're driving up the mountain yourself, be careful. It is incredibly steep, and as I'm told by locals, there have been multiple fatalities b/c brakes have gone out in cars. If you're not used to driving on roads such as this, pump your brakes when you're going downhill, or you will burn them out. read more

Im a college student and I flew out to snowboard from California and was so excited, then after my binding strap broke on the very first run I asked for a refund at the ticket window so I can get them fixed. (I tried getting it fixed there but the binding they sold me for $5 wouldn't bite correctly when I used it, and the rental shop is 50 minutes away down the mountain) I got a ride from ski patrol staff (y'all are the best), and they even said to ask for a refund at the window. The manager that works at the window only said they can give slope credit (but I don't live here) and after I asked about other options and said I was from out of town, she started getting rude. I just decided it wasn't worth the trouble and took the loss, but it cost me a full day of boarding and $50. The snow might be good but I wouldn't know, and the ticket window manager at Timberline lodge ruined my experience. read more

It hadn't snowed in five days yet I was able to leave fresh tracks in the old powder. The review below has been emailed to PM; they have replied, though not at all satisfactorily. I've waited the entire winter season, just in case we decided to give PM another try, but we didn't, so this review stands: (Small edits have been made to the letter since this review is now 3rd party.) We moved to the area from Tx Thanksgiving wk 2015. The resort was given rave reviews by experienced local skiers. We had a fabulous 1/2 day private lesson experience w/Tom H. in January 2016 & enjoyed many days on your slopes. As Thanksgiving 2016 approached, we left a VM to line up a 1/2 day private lesson w/Tom H. for my sister & her husband. Then I sent an email Nov 19. Then I left another VM. We rec'd a return call the week the resort opened & I booked the lesson, which was almost 20% more than we spent the year before; if you go by the government cost of living increase, which is 3% for 2017, a bit out of whack. Dec 26 we arrive at PM & are informed my sister & her husband have been booked & charged for a FULL day lesson. They take it because they don't want to "rock the boat" & of course have a great experience w/Tom. (I am fuming about this since I booked it as a half day & feel like they've been rooked into a full day, which they physically were not ready to do & I knew it. Plus their lift tickets. Plus their rentals.) My brother gets his rentals at Timberline; it takes almost an hr. For a resort limiting the number of lift tickets every day, the rental shop was not staffed for the limited number of attendees. My husband takes the Timberline lift & thankfully notices the Paradise breakdown, so he's not among those who have to hike up the mountain. We head to Sundown to meet up w/the ski school attendees, bcuz now the upper part of the mountain is packed. To make matters worse, there is NO ONE in the parking lot directing traffic & we are blocked in on 2 sides trying to back out of our parking spot & are caught in a turf war for our parking spot! We ski a couple of runs & ask 3 instructors in ski school jackets if Paradise is open yet. We get one of 2 responses: "I haven't heard anything on the radio," or "I have no idea." No one said, "I don't know, let me check." Even if it's not their job, to say, "I will check," would have gone miles. Basically my husband, brother & I felt the day on the slopes was a waste. We're hungry & it's almost 1:00 pm. We go to Lucky Slice at Sundown. It comes my turn to order, I'm told they are 30 min from having any food to sell. We ate the snacks we brought (lost revenue for PM) & leave as soon as lessons are over. Dec 28 we return to PM. We call first to make sure Paradise is open. I go to the window to purchase my husband's & my lift ticket. (My husband is a retired Marine.) I am informed the military discount is only given to the "person who served." I'm dumbfounded because this wasn't the case last year nor when I ordered our tickets online for 12-26; I rec'd 2 military w/o question. There's also nothing online saying specifically "spouses excluded." (This was fixed after my ltr.)...Oh, and the lady at the counter was not friendly. She told me I was lucky to have gotten the military disc thru the website. My brother buys his lift ticket at Hidden Lakes & asks for an extra zip tie; he wants to secure the top of his jacket. The lady tells him one fastener per ticket, so he takes it, goes to another window, says he lost it & is given another zip tie. Why did he have to ask twice? There was no direction on the Sundown lift. I was in the singles line behind 2 children (8-10 yrs, maybe) & no one was adding them to 2somes or 3somes, so each of them went up alone. When it was my turn, I attempted to add as a 4th to a 3some (instructor & 2 persons) & the male person informed me they already had 3 people. I did not respond that it was a quad, but neither did the instructor w/them. I don't like wasting time in the lift line because it isn't properly managed. About 2p we decide to rest. I decided if I'm never coming back to PM, I might as well try a piece of Lucky Slice Pizza, which I've never had. Want to guess what I'm going to say next? They are out of pizza dough & it will be 30-45 min. I went outside & ate a snack we brought. 2 more runs & we went to the top to meet with my husband & brother. As we arrive at Hidden Lake, we see "tacos & beer" advertised. My sister & I use the restroom & come out to my brother in law standing in the foyer with a strange look. "Want to guess what they said," he asks? Answer - the girl running the counter isn't 21 & there's no one working who is 21 so we cannot buy beer; we buy nothing & leave. The complimentary tour was amazing! Dave S. was our tour guide. He took us from Timberline to Hidden Lake to Mary's Bowl - but only the easier groomed trails, which was perfect for our group. Dave S. was very friendly and took time to explain a lot about Pow Mow. With my horrible sense of direction, I asked him for directions a couple more times when I saw him around in the afternoon. Took private Snowboarding lessons here this past season with Jim Pederson and he was absolutely amazing! The price was absolutely worth all his time. He is so skilled at this sport and has so much knowledge to share. Tips and pointers were only the beginning. He is so patient, and truly takes his time in explaining and assisting with techniques. He is also so easy to talk to and has a sense of humor, which I loved! He made learning fun even during the hardest moments. I highly recommend him for private snowboarding lessons!!!!! Powder Mountain was a great experience. Despite being a smaller resort with super slow lifts and limited food options, the runs were long and entertaining with practically no crowds! Most of the time, my friends and I had the whole width of the run to ourselves. The highlight of our day was the free 45 minute guided tour of the mountain. We followed John, our guide, up and down a few lifts as he showed us the best runs for our skill level and current weather conditions (which was continuous light snow). He even helped me out on the "skier-friendly, snowboarder-alienating" cat walks. Tip: For discount lift tickets, check out Diamond Peak Mountain Sports in Eden off Hwy 158. I bought a day pass for only $49, regularly $58. Canyon Sports does not sell Powder Mountain lift tickets. read more

Powder Mountain is where the gods go to ride. And make no mistake, the gods are NOT skiers. First, there isn't anyone around. I might have had 5 people in front of me at the busiest time down on the Paradise lift. So say this place has no crowds might be the understatement of the year. The ride of my life was off of Lightning Ridge after the Cat dropped me off. Even after two days since a storm brought 15 inches I was cutting fresh lines in the mountain. The actual runs are on the other side and the mountain is inverse, so your first run of the day can go from the main "lodge" to the bottom of the Paradise lift, a huge leg burner. The tree runs off Main Line are a thing of beauty as well. The scale of this place is hard to measure. From the Powder Country that has infinite acreage to Cat-Trax riding up on Lightning Ridge, its hard to describe to you my experience there, because "there" was everywhere. The official website lists it at 7,000 acres, putting up near Whistler/Blackcomb, and well past Squaw Valley and Mammoth. But the anti-resort feel is what is giving this place 5 stars in my book. Epic place to ride...and ski, I gots the love for all my mountain friends no matter how many planks are on their feet. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. I've been skiing here since I was about 5. My dad has always been ski patrol so I spent almost every weekend during the winter up at this resort. Gondolas? Nope. Fancy food? Nope. Beautiful lodges? Again, nope. You're not paying for that. You're paying for an unbelievable amount of terrain. This is the only mountain I know where you can come a few days after a storm and still find fresh tracks. Do you love pow? Check out lightning ridge, Paradise, Cobabe Canyon, or the backcountry. Find a ski patroller or a host to see if they can point you in the right direction of anything good. When I was growing up my dad and I would happily show PowMow guests where to go. Here's the one *possible* downside... The Summit Group recently bought PowMow. Locals aren't happy about it but so far there hasn't been too many negative impacts. I guess we will see what happens with our beloved mountain in the coming years. I'm hoping it continues to be the local spot for fresh tracks. My heart will be sad if it turns into another fancy schmancy resort. read more

If you're there to ride or ski, you will not be disappointed. But if you want the fancy frills (heated gondolas, massive lodges and gold plated sinks)... go to Snowbasin. read more
