That place seems to thrive on secrecy, we had to ask around a bit to find it - there was no sign outside.
The food was quite decent (large portions). But a mound of fries with mayo and some peppers and 2TBS of pulled beef was one of the less expensive items at $26, entrees cost between $28 and $36. But it tasted good, and since we were invited, the high prices didn't impact us as much. Overall, the food was upscaled bar food and the service was friendly.
We were seated downstairs by the snooker tables, which was not exactly cozy but OK. What almost drove me crazy, though, was a table game (Air Hockey?) that made me feel I was on a construction site, like someone was hammering on pipes incessantly right next to my head. Fortunately, the young couple playing it left after a while.
This place might be best for a group of younger people who want to spend a lot of money playing snooker and having a bite and a beer on the side. read more
