The best summer treat on a hot day they have so many flavors and so many different toppings. The possibilities are endless. We have enjoyed this place for many years. The service is always great and there shop is always so clean and pretty.
Absolutely amazing! My family and I love coming to Sno Cafe and trying all the different flavors! They have new specials every month, the girls are always so sweet and make every sno ball to perfection. My absolutely favorite is the toasted coconut with the ice cream in the bottom! Highly recommend stopping by the store or chasing the truck to their different events during the week.
Every one we tried was flavorful, special, and beautiful to the eye! Service was friendly. The line was long, but very understandable! Cute place. Two table inside and a set of stools along the wall. Also had a couple of tables outside. Will definitely be back for the toasted coconut, which was recommended by an employee!
I visited a truck they had in River Park while ordering was easy. The service was great. Just the product wasn't good. We got three different snow cones. One of them was the cheesecake. I believe a lavender one and a sugar-free one my sugar-free one tasted like wax like it was horrible . I've never eaten anything like that and I even asked if I could sample the syrup just to see what the taste would be like and they don't do that, but the fact that you even felt like wax was weird, my friend got the lavender one. It was really pretty. It smelled nice, but hers also tasted like wax. It was just weird, but then our friend who got the strawberry one it was fine. The ice was fine. It tasted like strawberrythe other ones we ended up throwing away. I wouldn't go back here again. It was just a no go for me, but everything looked really nice, but the flavor was not there.
I think the last time I had shaved ice was before the pandemic. So quite awhile ago. I was excited to try their stuffed 'snoballs' (as they call them) with ice cream! I ordered the blackberry cobbler. The ice was very fine and fluffy and melted nicely in my mouth. The blackberry flavor was good, not too sweet. I enjoyed the ice cream at the bottom! The nice lady serving us was all by herself! She did a fantastic job! They have some seating inside and some outside. Just not a lot of tables. I'd definitely go again! Just wish they were closer to where I live.
The Sno Café has perfected the craft of making snowcones. The ice they use is almost fluffy and never fuse-freezes. So, when you got to bite down on a flavor filled syrup cluster, no teeth are in danger of being cracked. This was my first time enjoying the Sno Café and it was via their food truck at the Fresno Grizzlies opening weekend. My kids went for classic flavors like cherry, pineapple, and grape, but opted for the ice cream filled snowball. I ordered birthday cake flavor? and it was incredible! I'm not sure what I was expecting, I thought "ice cream filled" was just a fun plan words. Nope! There was a full hardy scoop of vanilla ice cream in the middle of this snow cone. What an amazing pairing. Once the ice cream made its debut and I showed my kids, they snatched my treat and devoured it... I don't blame them. If you haven't been yet, the Sno Café is awesome and definitely worth a stop. Especially with summer right around the corner.
The 2 ladies in the Sno Cafe truck were very nice. We ordered a watermelon cooler. It was nice and refreshing. Perfect especially for the warm weather in Fresno. The truck is nice and clean, several options of flavors to choose from on the menu. Service was quick and they brought it out to my daughter since we were standing at another food truck ordering. Awesome job ladies and thank you! We'll see you soon!
Worth a try. This place is different than those that serve shaved ice. So don't this mixed up. The consistency is comparable to eating flavored snowball. There used to be another place in the area that served this but was shut down during the pandemic. So I ordered the strawberries and cream. It was first fill with a strawberry filling in the bottom and then the shaved snow was put on top of that. It was drenched with a condense milk and a strawberry filling syrup. Then it was topped with a strawberry. It was nice and light compared to ice cream. The service was quick and the atmosphere is small but cute. I'd recommend a try. I will be back.
The shaved ice here was so delightful! The texture was very fine and soft, it is not anything like what you usually think the texture of shaved ice is! We got the flavors, strawberry short cake and Kuppa joy, and they were both so delicious! I especially liked the whip cream garnish, it tasted very fresh. The Kuppa joy was my favorite cuz not only did it have the cream but it also had a chocolate and Carmel drizzle and chocolate bits on it! It was such a dynamic flavor. The staff were friendly and quick to make our order. There was minimal seating and tables inside, it is not recommended for big groups. The noise levels were low so it was a great place for my friend and I to catch up one-on-one. This location has plenty of parking since it is in a shopping plaza and shares a parking lot with many stores. Plus Trader Joe's is right next door so might as well treat yourself before or after going grocery shopping!
Sno Cafe - arguably the most popular local spot for snow cones - opened its storefront today! It is located on the southeast corner of N. Willow Avenue and W. Ness Avenue. Just in time for those who want to avoid the long lines at the food truck during the hot summer months. They still have their food truck, so check the website for the dates, times, and locations. My usual order is between the Rainbow and Orange Creamsicle. I always get the Stuffed Sno Ball with vanilla ice cream on the bottom of the cup, topped with whipped cream, a sour taffy, or a small orange wedge. Expect the same friendly service as you have come to appreciate from the food truck, but they have hired additional helpers in anticipation of the longer lines in this shop. I am so happy they opened their first storefront. The timing could not have been better as the temperatures outside hit three digits.
Fave dessert in Fresno! Sno Cafe snow cones are SO GOOD. They mean it when they say they have gourmet shaved ice! Idc how full I am, I am always down for Sno Cafe. Whether you're at their truck or their brick and mortar, service is super quick! The inside of their physical store is clean and with a couple of tables! Each and every one of their snoballs are good but my favorite by far is their ice cream & cake stuffed snoball. This particular visit I got the strawberry shortcake and it was yummy as well. Their presentation for all their snow cones are always so cutesy too. 10/10 would recommend.
We love a good bowl of Shaved Ice, and this was a Great bowl of Shaved Ice! From the fine texture of the ice to the delicious syrups made in house, to the great array of combinations they have created, what a great experience! Being our first time here, Samantha was a great help as she walked us through all the wonderful choices! My wife had the Mango, pineapple and Chamoy and I had the blackberry cobbler, both absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back!
We were super disappointed when we had to cancel our upcoming Hawaii vacation. One of our favorite activities in seeking out the best shaved ice on the islands. The biggest difference between the great shaved ice and everyone else is the ice, it should melt as it touches your tongue not require your teeth to break apart, and sno cafe has mastered the difference. Beyond the ice the majority of the syrups taste fresh and not artificial. My first time there I had the pineapple mango chamoy and I thought I was hooked and going to keep getting it. On a last minute change I switched to the Georgia sunset the next time and now do not know what to order they are both amazing. My daughter loves the strawberry and refuses to get anything else. They are definitely worth seeking out and are quickly becoming part of our daily routine. read more

Still love this place, but time for an update since we've tried more flavors. Rankings~ Orange Creamsicle - Yum! We both liked this one a lot. Just right on the flavor, not too light not too strong. Key Lime Pie - Husband liked, I thought it was OK. I can't decide if I like the key lime but probably a good choice if you like key lime pie in general. Kuppa Joy - OK, I thought this was good but coffee lover husband wasn't impressed, probably not a great choice if you like coffee and strong flavors, the flavor was too delicate for hubs. Strawberry Shortcake - If I had to choose, this one was my least favorite so far. We felt it tasted kind of artificial. It wasn't bad, but the other flavors are better in my opinion. Definitely want to try more flavors. However Lavender Lemonade is still my favorite ;) read more

People need snow cones about 80% of the time living in Fresno. This place not only delivers snow cones on wheels, they also serve up yummy and ADORABLEY crafted shaved ice. Okay, so the sizes. The small looks uber tiny, but, it is actually the perfect size. I chose lavender lemonade, because I love eating flowers. The snow cone is lightly sweetened with a touch of bouquet. You can also add vanilla ice-cream to any flavor snow cone. They are typically downtown on Thursdays on Fulton Mall. Their instagram is so cute too! They are at Enzo's table today. Long line. I went with my mother. The worker was nice. I asked what was most popular special and I was told cotton candy so I picked that one. My mother ordered the strawberry shortcake. We got our orders after a small wait. It was hot outside and perfect snow cone weather! My cotton candy snow cone was delicious! It had actual cotton candy on top of it and the ice was just as good! Wow! Loved! Tasty! My mother loved hers too. She just said it was really good and she looked forward to trying another soon! Fantastic special cotton candy snow cone! Great strawberry shortcake too! At the bottom she had actual strawberries in it! Yum! They have ones that have ice cream in them also. This is so much better than I can possibly describe (but I'm going to give it a shot)! I was very hesitant at first; I automatically think back to shaved ice from my childhood but this couldn't be farther from those memories. They have amazing flavors/crafted sno-balls! The ice is light and melts quickly once you pop it in your mouth (unlike when I was a kid and had to stab the mound of packed ice just to get some to flake off). Each bite held the flavor, no watery taste at any point. The sweet cream whipped cream on top is the perfect addition (wish I could have had more), and then at the bottom is creamy vanilla ice cream (if you order a stuffed sno-ball). This is an excellent Summer treat and one I will be visiting again! read more

Best shaved ice in the Valley by far. I make an effort to go to their website and find where their truck is currently located because it's so good. It's priced a bit higher than other shaved ice shops/trucks but it's definitely worth it. Five stars for customer service. They ask for your name and write it on their biodegradable cups. They play New Orleans themed music in their truck to transport you to the French Quarter. I recently realized they even offer pup cups for $1.50! In a couple of minutes, they called out Boomer's name (they wrote his name on the cup lol) and presented me with a whole cup of shaved ice with treats hidden at the bottom. It was covered with whipped cream and had a biscuit garnished in top. What more could he ask for? Sno Cafe also participated at my school's fundraiser after emailing them. They had prompt responses and were always professional. Highly recommend! read more

Life changes on a dime. One minute I am living a well-adjusted life, the next I am whiling away the days stalking a snow cone truck in Fresno in a worldwide quarantine. Alas, my new profession as a brain freeze researcher is going well, and I can say that I have tried every single snow cone this truck has to offer. The best is the mango pineapple with chamoy and Tajin, followed by the creamy vanilla orchid. Cotton candy is pretty swell also. What sets Sno Cafe apart besides their velvety "ice" is their presentation. They spare no expense with the artistry of their creations - interesting flavor combinations well-paired with lovely garnishes. Their snow cones are beautiful and delicious- worth every minute in the long lines. read more

I have been wanting to try this food truck out for awhile now and just got the chance. IT WAS SO GOOD!! Like I was back in Hawai'i good. We enjoyed 3 wonderful creations. Me: Orange Creamsicle - Perfectly refreshing and creamy Hubby: Mocha Caramel - Loved it! He did comment it needed more caramel but I don't think he could ever get enough caramel. Kiddos: Rainbow - They were entralled!!! They loved every bite of it. It is expensive for family to do every week but totally worth it for a refreshing treat when we can. read more

What a great little treat! I've seen Sno Cafe around, but usually when I'm out for breakfast at Enzo's Table on a Sunday. Luckily I passed the truck parked on Fulton Street beside the park during Art Hop this week. I'd had my dinner and fancied a little something sweet. The first time I try something new, I usually go for the simplest option. My only experience with shaved ice has been the big-chip, sugary sauced kind that you get at the ballpark that inevitably turns into a big ball of ice that you can barely chip into. That's not the case here. The menu here has 3 sizes and a bunch of flavors. You can get basic flavors or the signature snoball flavors (things like watermelon cooler or rainbow), and you can also get stuffed snoballs that come with ice-cream in the middle. I opted for the small and basic flavors which is $3.50 (tax included) and about the size of 2 scoops of ice-cream. The cup seemed pretty tiny but they pile it high - and they're also biodegradable, which is a nice touch. You can pick up to 3 flavors. I'd seen piña colada on the fancier side of the menu and that sounded good, so I asked for pineapple and coconut. It came out within a couple of minutes and the flavors were split down the middle, rather than piled one on top of the other, so it's easy to get a bite with everything. The texture is really soft, very finely shaved and creamy. It feels more like a light, fluffy texture than a hard or crunchy ice feel. The pineapple was sweet with a hint of tanginess, and the coconut was a little sweeter and creamier. It made for a nice combination. Overall a great snack and a nice treat to grab if you're out at the food trucks. I'll be back. read more

I am not a fan of shaved ice or snow cones and usually tend to stay away from them. But This food truck has now changed my mind about snow cones. Sno Cafe might be my new favorite dessert place in Fresno. My friend and I both got the Mango Pineapple chamoy and the basic coconut flavor and we enjoyed both very much. It wasn't too sweet or too sour just perfect and refreshing on a hot summer day. Both small and medium sized were big enough to fulfill our sweet tooth. read more

Why oh why have I turned the other way to this magnificent truck whenever I saw it at events? Probably because my snooty self kept thinking that Fresno could no way have a delicious snow cone compared to Hawaii. The logo and colors are so cute yet I always turned away. Today, I was downtown on a lovely sunny day and was craving something sweet. The Sno Cafe truck was with several other food trucks downtown. I saw the small sizes of the cups and went for a medium size and went for a classic rainbow. I love shaved ice with icecream in it so I added that as well and came out to $6.50. They actually put the ice over the cup so the medium is a lot larger than what you might expect. They had a delightful rainbow color with whip cream which were clouds. How clever! Then a candy rainbow on top. Too adorbs!! Their ice is so fine and almost a creamy texture. Their syrup is absolutely delicious, I've never had any shaved ice like that anywhere!! The sign also said they use premium ingredients for their syrup. They are really creative here and I'm so glad I was finally able to try it! Can't wait to try some different flavors!! read more
