Luckily, the line wasn't bad so I hopped right up and placed an order. The specialty creation I ordered was $6 and fairly large. Important: CASH ONLY here. I tried their "coffee lovers" which has cappuccino flavoring, sweet cream, pecans, and coconut. It was perfect for a hot day and came with both a spoon and a straw. The service was friendly and fast. I really enjoyed what I got. I was pleasantly surprised that you could actually taste the coconut and sweet cream individually...I dunno WHY that surprised me, I guess I just feel like a lot of shaved ice type creations don't have a ton of flavor. This one definitely did! Generous sprinkle of pecans on top, too. Really, the only flavor it was lacking was...coffee! You could sort of taste it in some sips, but it wasn't as strong as I was hoping for - much heavier on the sweet cream and coconut. Still, I absolutely enjoyed what I got, and if I see them out and about again, I'd reorder the coffee lovers or branch out and try one of their many other yummy looking creations. You can also build your own or order something more simple by asking for a combination of your favorites from a long list of toppings they have posted.

I've been missing their yummy products for a while; before they went brick and mortar, I was only ever able to catch them on Thursdays off University Drive, and they stopped doing that a few months prior to launching their full store. The full store is way out in Madison, which is pretty far out of the way for me, so it's been a long time since I last had any of their drinks. Luckily, I was passing through Madison about a week or two ago and had the time to stop in to see their new spot. It's really not far at all from where they'd park the trailer during their days in Madison; find it in the same shopping center as 2nd and Charles. Ample parking is available. Inside, you'll find a very adorably decorated, cozy, instagrammable boba shop. They have a loooot of drink choices (milk teas, fruit teas, coffees, etc), lots of types of boba, and their newest addition: soft serve ice cream! The ice cream comes in a lot of flavors that are pretty unique to this area: taro, Thai tea, mango, green tea, etc. Exact flavors vary from day to day but they have a small freezer with cups full you can also order. They also have a selection of fun snacks like Calbee chips, spicy rice crackers, and Pocky. I feel lucky we have two fabulous dedicated boba spots in the Huntsville area. ShakeiT Boba is my preferred spot if you want a more dessert or coffee-centric boba drink. Their Thai milk tea and their S'mores milk tea are delightful treats, although my most common order is a brown sugar or Thai coffee with coffee jelly. So so good and a great caffeine/happiness/energy boost! Their cups are gorgeous and the decorations and merch are so fun. I've noticed lots of familiar staff faces over the years too. I think it's a good sign that they can retain employees. And of course the family who owns the place is also often working hard behind the counter. :) Give this lovely business a try when you get the chance!

I really wanted a Thai bubble tea, and there aren't many places in Huntsville that do that on the fly -- I thought I'd try this place out! The price was about average: $4.60 for a large cup. Note that it wasn't their large size (their large comes in a cup that looks like a light bulb); I'm merely saying that it was a large cup of Thai tea compared to other serving sizes I've had. The service was friendly and helpful, no complaints there. But that Thai tea...whew. Had a weird, unappealing brown tint to it, rather than the typical pretty dark orange color. And it legitimately tasted like cereal milk. Thai tea is supposed to have a sweet milk-ish flavor to it, since it's often made with sweetened condensed milk, but this just...wasn't it. It had no black tea flavor, and just wasn't good. I drank about 3 sips before pitching it. 2 stars because the service was nice and I don't know how the main attraction, the rolled ice cream, is. But when it comes to bubble tea, this place is a big no from me.
