This was a bad experience! I was excited to get my nails done since I was in need of a fill. The older guy who started my fill was very rude. My nails are coffin shaped, but when he cut them down & filed them they were no longer that shape. The top corners of my nails were round & my sides were uneven (one side filed in more than the other) making my nails look crooked. The sides were even rounded out as if my nails were going to be ovalI. I asked him to fix these things & he got upset saying "I can't fix because the last person put the acrylic on too thick." He then said I was yelling at him.... I promise y'all I was not yelling at all, my voice was not raised. He got so upset & said "he do your nails, I can't do." He also kept saying "you yell at me before every time I do your nails"..... I never even been here before, so I had no idea what he was talking about. But this did sound somewhat racist to me for him to think I look like someone he's had a problem with in the past. I called this salon days before my appointment telling about my nail situation (went to a private nail tech, but they were clearly coffin shaped). Too thick is not an excuse for not knowing how to shape someone's nails & making someone's nails crooked. Plus you have all these nail tools there to correct any issues (if you know how to do nails). Anyways, I'm never going back there again!

    The nails

terrible experience. I wanted a fill in just your basic square nails nothing crazy. The lady doing my nails made them all a differ shape. Looked terrible. I asked her to fix and a guy began yelling a me because I wanted them fixed. She did end up fixing them and had to round them since my original idea of squares didn't work out. One day later my finger nails have been extremely itchy. Super strange never had my finger cuticle area itch before. Not to mention I got them done 2 days ago and it has already started to chip. I'm not sure how this place stays open. Please don't go here. There's about 50 other nail salons In the area that will do MUCH BETTED!

    Manicure

I have given this salon many chances but each time I always left disappointed and at this point I've gotten very impatient and frustrated. The mani/pedi is okay until they get to the polish part. All 3 nail techs do such a terrible job at painting as well as listening to what you want, & to top it all off their nail polish itself seems to be very old and dry. The polish applies very streaky and uneven, (not sure if that is the tech's fault or their polish. Maybe both) nail tech will paint over my cuticles, get nail polish all over my skin, when I kindly ask for a clean up around my cuticles, she seems to visually get annoyed and only cleans up the polish on my skin and not around my cuticle. Overall not worth it. A lot of reviews here are stating that this place is racist, I'm not too sure how true this is, but I wish they would've turned me down so I could've spent my money on a better manicure and pedicure instead of going home looking like I've done it myself.

Love our nails however a few hours later my youngest daughter's nails started to chip and now look bad! But on the brighter side the price is right and if your getting a full set they last! But you have to speak up if you don't like it or want a change!

I got my first ever gel nail manicure today. I accidentally picked out a color changing polish and didn't like it when I realized it was bright pink. The man doing my nails took the polish off for me, which, with gel nails is a hassle. I felt so horrible but he took it off and made them exactly how I want them to be! They look great! The salon was also very clean. Also- the price was fantastic compared to other salons. I definitely will be back whenever I am in town.

They keep deleting my google review for whatever reason, so I'm leaving this here and wherever else…read moreI can. Coming from a fellow hairstylist, stay away from this place, and most definitely stay away from Brinley for extensions. I hate to make this review but I'm left with no choice because the owner still has not reached back out to me about a refund. I initially had Brinley install my weft extensions. The experience was nothing great, tbh. But what I'm most concerned about is the redness, irritation and hair loss/breakage I've dealt with since getting them installed. The beads were literally stabbing me, and the install was way too tight. I came in a few days after and had another stylist, Sylvia check my extensions out. You could tell that she knew they were messed up. She had to completely redo them. Although it did feel better the first day after, the same issues occurred, but this time I had small scabs along with all of the other issues I previously had, and I unfortunately the pain was so unbearable that I had to have my husband take them out for me with his pliers. I was so sad because I wanted to have them for Christmas, and had spent a good amount of money on not only the hair but the service. Not only did all of this happen, but my natural hair that I was trying to grow out is now much, much shorter, and chewed up looking. I seriously cannot even wear it down anymore because of what these girls did to me. So I come back in asking for a refund, and Brinley is nothing but attitude and cockiness. Stating she is "7x certified" and that it's not her install, it's my "sensitive scalp" that's the issue. Even though you stated before the install that if it ever hurts, it's because it's installed improperly... Hairstylist to hairstylist -- it's OKAY to admit when you mess up, and it takes a good stylist to know when they made a mistake and own up to it. Also, we aren't talking a misunderstanding with color that's easily fixable here.. you cause me physical pain, wasted my money, and YOU RUINED MY HAIR. I think a refund is more than warranted. Learn to set your pride aside!! Now I might be picky, but I've been providing luxury services in salons, and my salon suite for many years now. So I know a thing or two about customer service and how to deal with situations like I had. The prices do not match the work I will be 100% honest. Also, I still don't know how they came up with the price of $400 for my install and toner. When I spoke with Kelly on the phone about my refund, she said my install was $150. So are they saying that a toner and blowdry was $250? That was never cleared up and honestly rubs me the wrong way, because I told Brinley my max budget was $400 and asked her to work around that, and then shes like, okay it'll be $400!! LOL. Customer service is awful, and I'm honestly disgusted with how this place runs their business. Mind you, I don't mind paying for quality work, I first hand know why hair prices are the way they are. I get it. I know extensions are a luxury and they take a lot of knowledge and skill to install, but I did NOT receive quality work. And for me to be a stylist and leave a review like this, I'm telling you, it was BAD. My scalp is still recovering and still hurts when I pull my hair up. Please, please do not waste your money here. It should have been a red flag from the beginning that there were only two stylists left there during the busy holiday season, and that all the others have left.

I went here for a pedicure before my Disney trip. I made an appointment and was seated right away…read more I chose the deluxe pedicure because my feet needed it given the winter months. The nail tech I got was pretty rough when it came to cutting my cuticles, it actually hurt quite a bit. My friend's nail tech (pictured) spent the beginning of her pedicure on the phone. I attached the final photo of my toes-- I wanted polka dots on every one of my toes and a clear glitter top coat. Even though I showed him a picture, he ended doing rows of dots on each big toe and none on the others. No glitter top coat either after I got sick of trying to communicate. I sat under the dryer for at least 20 minutes and was told I could put my shoes back on. Came home and my toes were smudged and ruined and I repainted them myself. What a waste of $55, which included an extra $5 for the "design." Won't be back.

I went here to get a regular pedicure. I did not want gel. After I signed in, the woman working at…read morethe counter threw a couple of nail polish samples on a binder ring and told me to pick one (I thought this was strange, as at other places, I would normally pick my own color from the wall.) The nail tech clipped my nails and was digging underneath them with several metal tools. He was rougher than other techs have been with my nails in the past. He also told me three times that my one nail was bad and he wanted to cut it off Ithe whole thing apparently) and put an acrylic nail over it. I told him emphatically no - I would only allow a podiatrist to do something like that. He started painting my nails and after he did one foot, he brought out a nail dryer for gel nails. I asked if he had been using gel polish - he said yes. I said that I did not want gel, but by this time, it was too late. He then tried to make awkward conversation with me because he knew I was upset. After he finished, I went up to pay and told the person at the cashier that I did not know I was getting a gel pedicure and did not want one. He rudely replied, "No one asked you if you wanted gel or regular?" I said that the woman who checked me in just threw a binder ring of nail polish samples and told me to pick one (after I specially told her that I wanted a regular pedicure). They clearly just gave me a gel pedicure because they wanted me to pay more and didn't want to give me what I clearly asked for. I felt taken advantage of. I wanted to treat myself to a simple regular pedicure to relax after a rough week, and it ended up being a very stressful, unpleasant, expensive experience. I was disgusted by the whole experience, and I will NEVER be back here.
