i've been going here for 15 years. The last time the female owner yelling at one of her tech's and i stood up for him - as his service is why i continued to patronize the salon- so she got nasty with me. I won't be going back. read more

I went here for a pedicure before my Disney trip. I made an appointment and was seated right away. I chose the deluxe pedicure because my feet needed it given the winter months. The nail tech I got was pretty rough when it came to cutting my cuticles, it actually hurt quite a bit. My friend's nail tech (pictured) spent the beginning of her pedicure on the phone. I attached the final photo of my toes-- I wanted polka dots on every one of my toes and a clear glitter top coat. Even though I showed him a picture, he ended doing rows of dots on each big toe and none on the others. No glitter top coat either after I got sick of trying to communicate. I sat under the dryer for at least 20 minutes and was told I could put my shoes back on. Came home and my toes were smudged and ruined and I repainted them myself. What a waste of $55, which included an extra $5 for the "design." Won't be back. read more

I went here to get a regular pedicure. I did not want gel. After I signed in, the woman working at the counter threw a couple of nail polish samples on a binder ring and told me to pick one (I thought this was strange, as at other places, I would normally pick my own color from the wall.) The nail tech clipped my nails and was digging underneath them with several metal tools. He was rougher than other techs have been with my nails in the past. He also told me three times that my one nail was bad and he wanted to cut it off Ithe whole thing apparently) and put an acrylic nail over it. I told him emphatically no - I would only allow a podiatrist to do something like that. He started painting my nails and after he did one foot, he brought out a nail dryer for gel nails. I asked if he had been using gel polish - he said yes. I said that I did not want gel, but by this time, it was too late. He then tried to make awkward conversation with me because he knew I was upset. After he finished, I went up to pay and told the person at the cashier that I did not know I was getting a gel pedicure and did not want one. He rudely replied, "No one asked you if you wanted gel or regular?" I said that the woman who checked me in just threw a binder ring of nail polish samples and told me to pick one (after I specially told her that I wanted a regular pedicure). They clearly just gave me a gel pedicure because they wanted me to pay more and didn't want to give me what I clearly asked for. I felt taken advantage of. I wanted to treat myself to a simple regular pedicure to relax after a rough week, and it ended up being a very stressful, unpleasant, expensive experience. I was disgusted by the whole experience, and I will NEVER be back here. read more

I have been here for a pedicure twice. The first time wasn't great, but I thought I'd try again. I left bleeding and my gel polish was peeling before I even made it to the car. read more

Unfortunately they aren't as good as I remember. Both times I went for my gel polish pedi they were really sloppy and not to mention they made fun of my legs (I am plus size) while putting hot towels on them. read more

I have recently came down here to visit from Lancaster Pa. I was very hesitant to try a nail salon here because I stick to one in my hometown. I saw this nail salon while driving around. They were very respectful & quick. The man doing my nails kept on asking me how I like them, if he needed to fix anything. Commented on how pretty they were . Thank you for the inspiration of the photo I found on one of the reviews (there's seem to be thinner,I get mines thick so they don't break at my job) they were pricey I believe so 55$ but It may be because I'm used to my prices at home. But they came out very nice!Did I mention they glow?I would high recommend, & will be going here every time I come down.Btw you may want to make an appointment before going sometimes they get busy. read more

Had a gel manicure and nail polish fell off one by one. I'm talking about the whole nail ! Girl took an hour and a half to do a gel manicure! Have to go somewhere else to get them redone read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! I got a full set of acrylics with gel polish. All of my nails are crooked. The man who did my nails made me bleed twice, filed into my skin, dremmeled into my skin, clipped me with the nail clippers, and lost control of the dremel. Not to mention the fact that he was constantly distracted talking to other workers in the salon. Take your business elsewhere. read more

Walked in to get 1 nail fixed -there were 3 workers and 2 customers. I wasn't given the option of waiting. All the lady said "I'm busy" they didn't even offer to help or anything. When I said no I didn't have an appointment "I'm busy" SO RUDE !!! I'll make sure to NEVER COME HERE!!! There are so many other places in the area where they will at least treat you like a person. read more

I am OVER this salon. The prices are high and the quality of the manicures and pedicures I have received over the last year are leaving a lot to be desired. I have had 3 dip manicures over the last year. The first one was done correctly and was amazing. It lasted me easily a month and looked great. The second dip mani I received, was done with dip color and a gel topcoat instead of a dip powder topcoat. Why am I paying for a full dip manicure and getting half a gel manicure?? The color was so uneven. My nails were buffed and drilled so thin, the color was splotchy. I went to the beach with that mani, and because of the gel topcoat over top of dip powder color, it barely lasted the week. This most recent dip manicure was done 6 days ago. I paid $45. I told them going in that I DID NOT WANT GEL TOPCOAT and wanted the dip powder topcoat (WHY DO I EVEN HAVE TO SAY THAT WHEN I CAME IN FOR A DIP MANI?) So, instead of putting a dip powder topcoat, he just piled on layer after layer of step 2 base liquid on my nails. Day 6. They are CRACKING. And were all scratched within ONE DAY. I am angry at the unprofessional quality of these manis for what they are charging. No topcoat on a $45 manicure. He had me go sit down to dry my nails and I was sure he would have me come back to the chair for the topcoat. I couldn't believe it when he said I was doSave your money and go somewhere else. They can't even do it correctly when I ask! Update - day 8 and almost every single nail has cracked and my middle finger nail was so cracked it started falling off. UNACCEPTABLE. Do not go here!!! read more

The best nail salon I've ever been to!! Everyone was so sweet and never got an attitude or acted irritated when they worked passed closing. The girl who did my nails (I think her name was tammy) did my nails exactly how I wanted them. She went into so much detail and was so nice!! These are by far, my favorite nails I've ever gotten done. Highly recommend coming here! read more

I'll say this, I've had really good /art done on my nails, very clean with so many options for nails, but they treat you like crap. If you've ever seen the episode of Seinfeld with the "soup nazi", it's kind of like that except it's the "nail Nazi" literally every time. Today was the last time I was treated like crap after making an appointment to get my gel nails removed, they were so terrible! The main guy is a ! I tipped them really well All the time because they did good work, and there were some evil bags that went in there that were really mean to staff and it made me feel bad. So I put up with a lot going there because I did always get good work. But I don't like how I'm treated anymore..After noticing they didn't want me in there because I was only getting a removal after an hour with only 1 other customer, I walked up and scratched my name out on the sign in sheet. I didn't mind the over charging because Diane is an amazing artist and never screws up my nails. But I'm dismissing them and moving on to the next. So awkward at all times there. I'm so done lol read more

Not a good experience. When we arrived for our 2pm appointment, every employee seemed shocked at the arrival of 10 other people that also had a 2pm appointment. I had a specific design picked out, I asked if she thought she could replicate it, she said yes. After she did it, put my hand under the light..she said, well if it's not good I can't redo it. They didn't have time to add a design on my mom's big toe, after leaving 2 of her fingernails smudged. Less than a week later my gel polish nails are peeling off, half of them are gone, 3 are currently peeling off. We walked out paying $175, we turned back around because that seemed high. The girl said "opps" then refunded us $60 that she "accidentally charged". During the entire time she was doing my nails she was telling me how much she hated her job and the issues she deals with. I will not be returning, and I hope you'll make the best decision and go somewhere else. read more

Decent enough place to go for nails. I normally get a gel fill and they always ask me like 20 times if i'm sure i want the fill and not a full manicure. i said i wanted a refill NOT a full manicure you don't need to ask me over and over. the experience varies depending on the technician. one time i wanted a design and the guy just straight up said 'no' meanwhile the lady next to me is getting an amazing design on her nails by her technician. They normally do a really good job with gel nails, and i go twice a month when i'm in altoona for college. the pictures attached are my four most recent trips. i've always loved how they turned out but the experience varies on technician. read more

Customer service is horrible. I stopped by on Thursday evening at 530, was told to come back Friday at 11am. So I did. guess what booked for the day. Told him he's the one who told me to come back and he in so many words said I was lying. Super disappointed read more

I have visited this salon on several occasions for SNS manicures and once for a pedicure. My customer service experience has varied based on each visit, once being left by my nail tech for ten minutes so he could go outside to smoke. Also the quality of my manicure was not up to my expectations on most occasions. Attempts were made to rectify this, but the skill, knowledge, and attention to detail was lacking. I believe they only offer a basic pedicure service which was fine, but I was hoping to find more deluxe services. Language barriers can be a challenge at this salon. I have stopped using this salon in search of a better experience. read more

by the end of my appointment my nails were bleeding and hurt very badly. they were a horrible shape and were bumpy all over. he filed my nails so roughly that i was loosing skin. my cuticles were in such bad shape when i left to the point of them bleeding. there was also nail polish still on my fingers at the end which looked super sloppy. when he was using a power file most of the time he brushed over my skin and took off my skin. the nail polish was put on in a rush and sloppy. they also didn't have the color i was looking for so i had to settle with something else. lastly the pricing. he said it would be 45 for gel then at the end he charged 50 plus tip. thank you for listening to my ted talk. read more

I went there today and the service was horrible. I waited for an hour, then he cut me with the nail grinder. Not to mention another person working there came up and started talking about sleeping with a woman. Using swear words and then the guy leaves me to go out and smoke!! Never going to go back. And I don't recommend it to anyone unless they want to get cut, wait an hour and hear pigs talking about only talking to a woman to bang her. read more

Got the deluxe pedicure and it was completely amazing -friendly staff, clean environment and a relaxing atmosphere to be in. I will be back!

I've given these people chance after chance. No more. I pick a color, they decide something has to go under it. Well, I don't want another color under the clear background, that's why I picked it. I like it the way it is. So then they have to remove the color that I didn't pick. She didn't really remove it all so it's peeking out around the edges. I didn't force her to take the edges of because she had already brutally removed the color I hadn't asked for and my toes are literally bleeding. It's been 3 days and I can barely stand to wear shoes to work! Then it's $50!!!!! For a pedicure?????!!!!! That they messed up and injured me. I guess it was a $50 lesson to me not to go back there again, no matter how convenient it is to my work. read more

Came in with my mom to see if we could get our nails done. They said sure, and I sat down and the guy started taking my gel off. He gets two off and then goes actually, we're too busy, can you come back in an hour? This was so unprofessional, but we said we'd come back. We come back and waited 40 minutes while we continually heard them answer the phone and tell people to come in. While we waited they never offered us water or even had us look at colors. I tried asking how much longer at the 40 minute mark, and the woman I was speaking with turned away from me to answer the phone and book yet another appointment they couldn't keep. Not sure how the quality is, but while I was there I heard a girl ask if the "blood would come off her finger". Definitely not coming here again. read more

Great place to get your nails done. Very professional with their work. Looks like they have done this for a very long time.

This salon used to be good but in the past six months, the staff is constantly changing. Pedicures are the worst experience when you get a technician who doesn't know what they are doing. It is as if they are all in training. My friend and I always go together. One time I am miserable and not pleased, the next time she is. We are going to try a new place next time. Also very few of them on staff now speak English. It has been very disappointing. read more

It's really hit or miss here. I normally get a gel fill and often times a technician is happy to fix anything I see that is wrong and they take the time they need. Today I got a full from the owner of the salon and he seemed very uninterested in my satisfaction. Just wanted me out of his chair I guess. He cut my fingers multiple times and made the lines on my nails uneven. I had to go home and file the excess acrylic off myself. Some technicians do a decent job but I would suggest making an appointment with someone if you go. read more
