Came in to give my one year old a haircut and we had a very pleasant experience. They have a special high chair where the toddler can sit and they can play cartoons on an iPad. They also have some toys in the waiting area where the kids can play. I will be coming back. read more

Love me some Snipz. My son has always struggled with haircuts, even if a family friend or myself cut his hair. I avoided Snipz, even though I had great experiences with them with my older daughters hair, because he just hated cuts. But then, I decided to just try it, and low and behold he now LOVES haircuts, and wants them ALL the time. They have super quiet clippers and my son actually sits still for the stylists. Truly a wonderful experience for my daughter's first hair cut at age 3. I was blown away at all the little details they do to make your child's hair cut experience a positive one! They give you an option to have a little tinsel hair strand tied in your hair at the end and let the child choose what color "hair" they want to add in. They also braided my daughters hair for a extra special touch. They give your child a token to get a prize at the end and top it all off a lolly pop! 10/10 stars from our family. read more

We were visiting family in Sonoma, when my brother commented that my 1-year-old son's hair looked like Keith Urban. I made an appointment for a haircut that day. Snipz was the perfect place to have his first haircut. The stylist was super friendly, she put him in a little bucket seat outfitted with a tablet and Elmo Apps, and he was happy. She gave him the cutest haircut- not too much, nice layers, it looks so good! She was so patient with him and gentle, he never got upset and when he squirmed she was able to direct his attention to the tablet or other objects like a pro. I applaud her talent! My only complaint is that they aren't located where in live in Tennessee! I don't know where I'll ever find a haircut and salon experience as wonderful as this again! I took my daughter here for her first ever hair cut. The middle age women there was not on time, didn't even acknowledged us, didn't apologize for being late or tell us that she was going to be with us soon, nothing. Very rude and disrespectful. Perhaps her behavior would have been different if my Caucasian husband was there without me. After a long wait, we left very disappointed. Disgrace. Don't go there! Lara was so sweet to work with us on getting our 4 year old son's hair cut just right- his FIRST hair cut! We were silly and sentimental - she let us get in there and cut off the long keepsake ponytails. Kiddo loved the ipad games while Lara worked her magic. FINALLY! A children's salon in Sonoma! I have been going out of town with my children, this is wonderful! I wish I would have taken pictures, it's a really cute place with a toy table, small chairs & a very CLEAN environment. The employees are all very friendly & helpful. I had made appointments for my twins, my son normally hates haircuts, but went right to the chair - because they offer IPADS for the kids to play with during the cut! My daughter has really long hair & she wanted to get a short cut... then backed out at the very last minute because she also wants her hair "long like Rapunzel" (they are 6)... so I apologized and our hair dresser Kim said not to worry, that they expect this with kids - I was not obligated to pay for her cut. Also, they offer a 5 pack for an even better rate. Super-excited about this! Oh, and my sons haircut came out exactly how I asked - thank you Kim! read more

Snipz is a very cute, very clean salon for children. My toddler had a first haircut there which he was initially excited for, but he quickly became anxious only minutes after sitting in the barber chair. The stylist, Tatianna, was fairly friendly, but was a little distracted since she was the sole employee working and had to answer the phone multiple times. Nonetheless, we all survived and she did an amazing job with my son's haircut!! read more

We drove thirty minutes because on their website (and the door!) they clearly state "walk ins welcome". I'm 37 weeks pregnant. They denied us service and said there's no one available to give my one and a half year old a trim. I'm sorry??? Why say walk ins welcome? Absolutely terrible service. After I told them we drove so far the least they could have done is tried to fit us in. Anyone whose been pregnant knows driving thirty minutes isn't something you would do if you didn't think you would get your errand taken care of. We will never be coming back here again. We live in Napa and make the drive over to Sonoma to get my son's hair cut at Snipz. They always do a great job and it's worth the extra effort to drive over there. Just wish there was a location in Napa! My son loves it because the stylists are so kid friendly and he enjoys watching the iPad while getting his hair done. We have been to Great Clips, Super Cuts, etc. and had nothing but BAD haircuts. Worth the extra price to go to Snipz! read more
