I had a stylist that I loved at this salon, but repeatedly the manager of the salon (Sharna) would come to my stylist's station and move my shit around without our permission. She knows how to balance gentle and aggressive when tackling your skin needs, and uses the most up to date products and tools in doing so. Too often women (and men) over look their skin, and the importance of facials, peels, and regimes. I highly recommend that you spend some time getting pampered, treated, and educated by ILeana and you will see immediate results and want to come back for more. Facials are my favorite indulgence- and Laura ay Cheveux Derma did not disappoint. First, her room is beautifully decorated and located just off the plaza. She stayed later in the day to accommodate my schedule so by the end of my treatment I was perfectly blissed out and ready for bed! I read the reviews on Yelp and decided to try Cheveaux Salon now on East Napa. My appointment was with the owner of the salon and the experience was worse than bad. I was left with wet hair because she was short on time. There was no offer for another stylist standing by with an empty chair to dry my hair. Plus her attitude was so pompous ughhhh who needs a feel bad day from a professional person in the beauty business. No credit card payment accepted ?? My sincere advice is don't go. read more

Well, I would love to highly recommend this place but in order for me to do that, an appointment would need to be made. In order for an appointment to be made, multiple messages need to be returned. In order for that to happen, the people that work there need to pick up the phone and dial. That never happened here. I can say on three separate occasions I have left messages requesting various services never to be called back. Mind you I did leave my phone number every time. I have only lived in Sonoma for three years. Through my neighbors recommendation I found Sharna, owner of the Cheveux Salon. I have been extremely happy with my hair ever since. The Salon is clean, quiet and comfortable. She always has some cool music playing in the background. Sharna is quick to offer me something to drink and then gets down to business. The first question is, how are you liking your hair/color/style. I like the fact she wants to hear from me! I have naturally curly (corkscrews) hair but I also like to style it. Wanting to always have both options can be a challenge for a Stylist. Sharna has always provided me a cut that looks great each way! She also does my highlights and color. Noelle is fabulous! I recently moved to Sonoma, from LA - where I left my stylist of ~10 years. Finding a new stylist is never a fun project, but must be done when you move 6+ hours away. I tried a few places around town before finding Noelle. I always have fun tousled-ish short hair, but had decided to grow it out when we moved - DISASTER! Me and long hair do not mix. I ran into Sharna in the Plaza, and she said, 'Oh, I'd love to do your hair. Come on in!" That was it. It's been kismet ever since. Sharna not only has her own great personal style, but she has a unique gift of being able to "see" what looks good on you. My hair is difficult - it's fine, thin, and straight.
