Not only was her food so delicious, she is the most genuine person! We loved chatting with her while she was cooking and when she served us our corses :) You can really tell she cooks her food with love and care. We started off with the most amazing French 75 cocktails which had fresh Meyer Lemons from her garden and a grazing platter with amazing cheeses and meats. We then had the best squash soup I've ever had! She made it with squashes from her garden as well :) Then a very fresh and citrus salad, then Chilean Sea Bass, then a Steak, then a really moist raspberry Chantilly birthday cake! We also did a wine pairing with each course and the wines she picked worked so well! This experience was fantastic!

I had the great pleasure of finding Chef Sam Badolato, as a Private Chef to prepare a surprise 60th birthday dinner for my husband. Sam has a warm personality, with immense culinary experience that will most certainly impress all. He worked with me to put together a spectacular 4 course dinner, and wine pairings. He interacted with my family, sharing wonderful stories of his experiences in the culinary field, gave us cooking tips and just made the evening so special. Sam is well known in the culinary world, but he is so humble, friendly and gracious. But most importantly, this man can COOK!! We felt like we were in a MIchelin rated restaurant, but it was in my home!! To make things even more spectacular, Sam served us each course explaining what he had prepared and then to top things off, he cleaned up everything and left my kitchen spotless. I feel like we made a new friend, who I look forward to the next time we can have him share his talent with us.

I told Samantha about what we liked/disliked, and she came up with a fantastic menu along with a wine pairing for each course. Correspondence was prompt, and (for an over-planner like me) it felt like she had everything under control and I had nothing to worry about. I was right :) It was so nice to return to our vacation home after a day visiting wineries to meet her getting all set up in the kitchen. She made all my guests feel welcome, and we enjoyed some time on the back patio where she brought us a beautiful charcuterie board and wine. My husband and guests were so excited that we could just sit back and relax! No reservations to rush off to, or meal to cook ourselves... Truly a great way to end the day. We then moved inside to the dining room for the remainder of dinner. The table had been set beautifully, and each course was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed hearing Samantha present each one - you can tell she is passionate about each dish. They were perfectly plated, impeccably timed, and SO yummy! Our group was definitely having a great time (how can you NOT when good food and wine is involved?!), and Samantha and her assistant were so easy to get along with. They felt like friends by the end of the night. While it was a very luxurious dinner, it was also SO relaxing to be comfortable in our own space. Our friends continue (nearly a month later) to talk about how fun the night was and how much they loved the food. I still cannot decide if the bacon-wrapped pork was my favorite, or the chocolate tarte for dessert! I cannot recommend Samantha enough, and I hope to be back in the area to have an excuse to hire her again sometime soon.
