I grew up with this Mini Mart right by my house…read more Despite the geographical location of it, I didn't go here often at all. It was always my last choice for a convenience store. There is a Mac's just down the road so that's where I would always go. This is a small little store so they don't really have much to offer. The prices aren't better than Mac's and they don't have anywhere near the selection. Usually I am inclined to support the little guys, but this store really doesn't have anything to offer to make me go here. Sorry Mini Mart.

You all know this place and probably have one in your neighborhood. It's just the basics and used only in emergencies. Hopefully yours is kept up more. To say this place is run down would be putting it lightly. In the past 8 years, I've only been in it twice, and both times the same thing happened. I bought something for $11.75 and when I was handed my change, I got a five dollar bill and literally a handful of random coins - mostly nickels, dimes and pennies (...PENNIES!!!!). The clerk got real angry when I insisted on counting it, and sure enough, both times the amount was off (and of course, to the store's favor). Like the previous reviewer, I guess my laziness in not going to the Mac's or 7-11 down the road really cost me.

This convenience store is steps away from my home, but for the most part, I do avoid it. It is a…read moregood place to stop and get gas or something to drink, but I don't buy anything perishable from here. I find that most times that the candy I have bought from there was stale. One time I bought a pack of nibs (you know, that CHEWY licorice stuff..) and the candy was so hard I couldn't bite into it. Umm... No. Other than the not-so-fresh candy, this place is fine by me. If I am getting a pop, some water or gassing up, this place is fine by me, but I won't even bother spending the 99 cents on a bag of chips that will be stale.

Moosi's is right in my old neighborhood and I would stop here while jogging. It looks a tad sketchy from the outside and is a tad sketchy when you go in. That's why I only stop here to grab a water during my walk/jog, I don't take my chances with the food. Gas is cheap here though...sometimes!

Who doesn't love a reward. The lil hot deli counter is always busy I've never eaten it but it sure is popular. The reason I'm reviewing is because the staff here are the most fun, kind nicest convenience store staff I have ever come across!! Always welcoming and delightful!
