So here's the scoop - I found a slight bubble on my tints and I called them as soon as I noticed it .. they fixed it no questions asked ! According to the owner Chris Daigle "If you are going to complain about these things [he] will just give you a refund." Apparently leaving debris between the window and film is according to Chris a normal and accepted result when they apply films at Snappy Tint. To me the 2 weeks they tell you to wait for the bubbles to settle is more of a ploy to get folks to forget about the tint and it's defects. In addition to the bubbles and debris they left in the film and would/could not fix they initially left residue streaking down the side of my car's exterior and interior. Chris had agreed to provide some free services for the inconvenience but when I brought the car in to show him the tint issues he was unapologetic and upset that I was complaining about their work. He spent a total of 30 seconds looking at the defects before concluding he would just remove the tint. I suggest to take your business somewhere that the owner and staff care about quality and are professional enough to apologize and try and make right their shortcomings. I'll try and add the photos if it'll let me. Otherwise see Google review. Update: As I was waiting in the front area for Chris to take my car back I heard Chris ask Cindy if "that asshole is still here." Being a little concerned now for a total lack in professionalism and volatile mood of this guy I asked Cindy if she could get Chris so I could talk to him again. I told Chris I heard he thinks I'm an asshole but I'm not sure why or what I've done. He said I've been an asshole since I first came in because I was trying to extort his business. To be clear I had contacted Chris and Cindy about the residue that was left on my car because I was going to post a review and just leave it be but it seemed unfair if I don't reach out and see if they wanted to right the issue (no I didn't ask for anything Chris offered some free protective film.) Wanting to give the public an honest review is therefore extortion in his mind. Anyway after telling Chris I didn't want him working on my car and I rather take my car elsewhere for removal I asked for my keys to which he told me to call the cops. After a F@#& off by him, he threw me my keys and I left. Don't know what else I can say that this experience doesn't already. Hopefully a handful of people will see this before Chris pays Yelp to remove it. read more

I hired Snappy to tint my shop's windows. I just opened up a jewelry shop on Magazine Street in November and was not aware of the blinding sun that was shining through my windows until I was squinting at my customers. It was a serious issue with my jewelry too because it tarnished the jewelry. Furthermore, it made my shop an oven. It created a serious green-house effect and made the shop hotter than it was outside, so I needed to do something to fix it. I found Snappy on Google... I called and left a message and Chris called me back promptly. He came by the shop shortly afterwards and checked out my windows, they are pretty big. He suggested a nice see-thru film so my customers can still see my jewelry but it would block out a lot of the harmful rays. The job was very well done... it looks so nice! And it fit our budget. The windows look so much better and I have already noticed a difference in temperature. Chris was personable and funny... we cracked a few jokes while he was working. He came during hours that were convenient for me and would not interfere with my store hours. If I ever need any more tinting I wouldn't second guess who I'd call... and you shouldn't either! read more

Had to get the tint removed from all 4 windows in order to pass my Brake Tag because as it turns out, even though I bought my car used from a dealer, aaaaaannd it had passed the Brake Tag inspection last year, the tint was illegal. Bummer! So I wasn't happy about this process and my sense of trust took a hit. I mention this because, this is the attitude and worry I carried with me to my experience here. And oh how nice it is to be proven wrong. Scheduling an appointment online was easy (though I had incorrectly selected the service required for my car). This place was super friendly and professional. They set expectations well, explained the tint laws, and successfully, cleanly (except for a wee bit of sticky stuff here and there), removed the tint from my windows. I was dreading going back to the brake tag place, so the technician here took extra care to do another reading on my back window so that I could take a photo with me when I went back to the Brake Tag place. Look, I was kind of a pain-in-the-butt client, and they were totally kind to me. I felt good about my experience there. If I had to do it all over again, I'd choose them again. read more

I drove over an hour on Saturday to get my windows tinted on my new car. I tried calling local places but price and lack of friendly service had me looking on Yelp for something closer to the city. Snappy Tint had the best reviews so I called right when they opened on Friday. Chris was friendly which is appreciated since I don't know much about window tints. Price was good so I made the appointment for the next day. The waiting area is comfortable with a TV and WiFi which kept my daughter occupied for the hour we waited. I'm very happy with the tint. Of course it helps with the heat but now I don't feel like I'm in a fish bowl where all other motorist can see directly into my back windows. Thanks Chris for making this convenient for an out-of-towner. read more

I was waiting to have my car tinted and in walked this gentlemen who apparently had his car tinted but was unhappy with the work performed. There were some words exchanged with the owner/manager calling the customer an asshole behind his back. That's just loony and simply not the right way to treat a customer. This business has a bad attitude and I'd be extremely wary before giving them your business. read more

Had my new mercedes tinted with 3M Ceramic Tint. Wow! What a difference, Chris did his demo for me showing my the reduction in heat by using the 3M ceramic tint. Chris is a superstar and he now has a customer for life. Not to mention he is the only vendor that supplies 3M products for tint. Looking at getting it covered in the clear coat to protect my investment. If you are in need of any vehicle, residential, or commercial tinting. Please give Snappy Tint a call! Hats off - Very Pleased! After decades of owning cars and having them all tinted all along the Gulf Coast to NOLA, I have say that Chris and his team are really the best at what they do. Professional service, quality 3M products with warranty and comfy waiting room too. We just had our new BMW's windows tinted and wouldn't trust anyone else to do our cars in the future. We are also having them do some home window tinting on the east side of our home. read more

Snappy Tint - All five windows in less than 30 minutes. Great work. - Home Window Tinting Near Me

I have used Snappy Tint twice now. First, nearly 2 years ago, they applied 3M crystalline to my car. Crystalline is the best product around and Snappy is the only licensed 3M installer in town. They did an excellent job and their waiting room is honestly more comfortable than my own living room. When I had some tint peeling around a window edge, they fixed it under their warranty with no issues at all. This week, I used Snappy again to ti a large plate glass window in my home. To my surprise, it was the owner himself who did the installing. He was efficient, on time, and the end product looks very good. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. read more

This is the second car that I've had done by Snappy Tint. The first time I had to get my old tint removed from my car because it wasn't legal in Orleans Parish (not done here), so I took it to Snappy. He removed it for me and recommended that I do ceramic tinting. It's not dark at all, and totally legal, and best of all it keeps the heat out way better than any normal tint. So when I got my new car, I knew that I had to get the ceramic tinting done again. Chris is so easy to schedule with, and he has more options and does a way better job than anyone else out there. He has also done my french doors in my home, and is about to do my front door. *I may be addicted. Yay!! No more putting the a/c on full blast when I get in the car anymore!!! read more

After buying a car in Houston, I was informed when applying for my brake tag that the tint on my front 2 windows is illegal in New Orleans. In My search to remove and replace, I found Chris with Snappy Tint. My experience with Snappy Tint was fast, easy, and professional. I reserved an appointment online where all services and prices are clearly marked. The waiting room has wifi so I was able to get some work done during the time it took to remove and replace, which was about 30 minutes. I reserved an hour and a half just to be safe, so this was a pleasant surprise! Chris is very professional and happy to help answer my questions. I would recommend without hesitation! read more

Very professional, even give me a military discount to top it off! Awesome job on the tint too!

After researching and reading earlier reviews, I decided this was the place for my first window tinting experience. I'm glad that I trusted Chris and Snappy to do the job. Very professional with a comfortable waiting area, complete with leather sofas, TV and complimentary wifi. This isn't a service I anticipate needing often, but I'll be back next time I'm in the market for tint. read more

I had my front 2 windows of my jeep tinted here last week and it looks great. They took their time to answer all of my questions. They were really professional and did a great job. I've had Snappy Tint do three vehicles so far and each one has been the best installation quality I've had in over 20 years of getting my vehicles tinted. I needed a window film for the window on my front door but I didn't want to block out the light that came in through the window. I mainly wanted something that looked nice but also offered privacy, so that someone at my front door could not see into my home. I called Chris Daigle of Snappy Tint. He suggested a decorative window film. It is exactly what I was looking for. It lets the light in but also gives me the privacy I wanted & the design looks beautiful on my front door. I love it. He knew what would be the perfect solution for this window. Great job. I also had a problem with glare & heat from the sun coming in through my bedroom windows. Chris suggested a bronze colored solar tint for these windows. He installed it & I noticed the difference immediately. No more bright glare & the difference in the temperature at those windows is great. I also have more privacy there & the bronze color compliments the brick on my house. Therefore, adding a pleasing look to the outside of my home. This guy knows what he's doing & he takes into consideration what would be the best look for the job. read more

Awesome tint job. Fast and car looks awesome. I will use them for all my tint/paint protection needs from now on.

Excellent job. Tint is great and the service was really awesome. I appreciate the detail and speed.

Snappy Tint is awesome! When we built our home, the door we picked out had a lot of glass so we were looking for something to give us more privacy, but still allow the natural light to filter in the house. We are so happy Snappy Tint was recommended to us. They had plenty of options for us to choose from and they came to our home and put small samples on our door so we could really get a feel for what the final product would look like. Once we chose a design they put it on our door and were very professional and clean in the process. The end result is great! It looks like the door was made that way instead of it being a sticker, which is exactly what we were looking for. I was worried it would make our custom door look cheap, but you honestly cannot tell its not part of the actual glass. Since they've put it on we have gone through multiple seasons of weather changes and there is no change in the door. We are very pleased with Snappy Tint and I wouldn't trust anyone else for a job like this. read more

Amazing experience! I went here to get my front two windows tinted. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the place was clean, they had accessible TV and Wi-Fi, and free drinks. Also, the tint job looks great.
