Shaw RV - NEW 2017 Keystone Springdale 311RE

    Shaw RV

Paul, Shane, and the crew were all top shelf pros attending to my new LIV RV trailer. The work was…read morequality and they were friendly and patient enough to run me and my wife through a class on how to properly use my RV trailer and winterize it when the time comes next winter. I've gone back since then for some hitch work and so far I believe I've found my go to source on all things RV.

My experience with the Service Department at Shaw RV in Youngsville, NC, has been disappointing. I…read morecontacted Shaw RV for an appointment to inspect my class B Winnebago Rialta before completing the motorhome sale. I called Shaw RV on March 20, 2024, to schedule an appointment to have them check out the RV. They let me know they were busy that week, and Tuesday, March 26, 2024, would be the first available appointment they would have to do their review. I had an appointment to bring the RV to be serviced on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 8:00 am. Nobody was there until 8:15 am, when Shane arrived that only then that they would have the RV inspected no later than Friday, March 29. That was not conveyed when I set up the appointment, and I was under the understanding it would be checked out while I waited, which was my mistake for thinking it could be done while I waited. Shane took all my information again, and I told him I would return before 5 pm to leave the RV, and he would do his best to get everything done before Friday or, at the latest, by Friday. After calling on Thursday, March 28, to check the progress, I had to leave a message for someone to call me back on their voicemail. I was waiting for someone to return my call. I called again on Friday, March 30, left a message, and again, I was waiting for a return call. I called again on Monday, April 1, and spoke with Paul. He gave me a rundown of how long the diagnostics for each item would take, varying from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the issue. I asked what this would cost, but I received no answer other than that they would go over everything with me once everything was inspected. Since I had yet to hear back from anyone by 3:07 pm on Tuesday, April 2, I left another voicemail message to call me with an update. Again, no one returned my call by noon on Wednesday, April 3, so I drove to the Service Department and met a gentleman named Alan, who worked part-time there. He was unaware of the status but did find the paperwork on what was being done, although he could not update me on when all inspections would be completed or pricing; other than that, some parts needed to be ordered. Alan said he would call me by the end of the day on Wednesday, April 3, to give me an update. Since I have not received a call, I called at 4:38 pm on Wednesday since the shop closes at 5 pm in hopes of getting an update. Again, no one answered my call, and I had to leave another message for someone to call me back. I'll add updates, but I am very frustrated at this point. My potential buyer has been patient, but I must find out how long that will last. I intend to sell this RV with any known repairs that may be needed before completing the sale so I can convey the condition and perform repairs or provide credit to let the new owners complete any work.

They say third time is the charm but... I have a 2020 winnebago Vita I bought from Camping World…read more...Ha!! Review on them later....grrr b u t ! I've had issues with a leak around my commode. I've taken it to a few other places to have this issue just placed a damn (trying to keep it G rated) Band-Aid on it. But Country Roads RV Center, their service team kicked that toilets butt. ( G rating ) I had to take in once and it stopped leaking for a little bit but their service tech finally found the problem the second time around! And you want to talk about quick! They got to the problem and THEN I made them fix a few "other issues" I needed help with. And!!! Installed a new kitchen faucet all in one day! Camping world would have taken a days to get this all done! Sorry Camping World. I think I've found another place to get this and that repair or fixed. Hey I just did a review for Camping World too! Their staff took me in and were so sweet and kind to me, an old veteran lady! I know I'll be back. And guys! The kitchen faucet looks amazing It really ties the room together! If you know where the quote came from you're cool and we just became best friends! Thank you again Service and Parts! It was a great experience! I wish you could work on the chassis of a mobile home, but HEY we can't all be perfect!! Jenny G. Prices were fair. Wanted to add that too. Later Dudes!

I delivered my travel trailer to Country Road RV Repair Center in the spring for what should have…read morebeen straightforward service: new tires, bearing maintenance, and a general mechanical review. I was told the work would be 2 weeks out, and I would get a call with any needed work at that point, months before our trip, was perfectly fine - or so I thought . After 3 weeks, I called them, and the tire estimate was double what Discount Tire quoted, and they said I needed a new slide motor. They then ordered it, with an ETA of 2-3 days. After nearly two full months of status updates of "next week", the trailer was still not ready. Estimated completion times came & went, and many weeks later, two days before our vacation, they explained the parts ordered were "wrong" and they would get right on it. I only received updates whenever I initiated contact, which never came to pass. This caused us to cancel a long-planned vacation -- and lose our non-refundable deposit in the process. This experience was not only frustrating but also costly. I have no problem paying premium repair rates and higher tire prices when the work is done correctly, but six weeks late is a bit much. On top of all that, they simply glared at me wordlessly when I finally picked it up and had no further explanations or even an apology when I picked the camper up several weeks late. Just told me the total. To add insult to injury, the owner replied with a fictitious story & timeline, leaving out the fact that I brought in on 6/10/25 primary the tires, bearings, and a mechanical inspection, and specifically mentioned the slide blowing breakers. After I checked in on the 7/11/25 (over a month later) did anyone mention the motor, and said the ETA was 2-3 days, and that work would be done in a day. From that point on, I called for any further updates. Every call was 2-3 days, until we missed our checkin date - otherwise, we WOULD have picked it up.
