On May 24, 2025, I went to rearrange furniture in my unit and discovered a severe mouse infestation. There was feces all over the floor, my belongings, and my couches--one of which was chewed through and completely ruined. Additionally, in front of my unit I found a dead mouse which appeared to be squashed by a car. I contacted the office. A representative came to the unit, acknowledged the infestation, and during the conversation implied the issue may have come from my belongings--which was both shocking and insulting considering my unit is clean. I was told management would contact me by Tuesday. That call never came. On May 28th, I finally spoke with Rob from management only to be told that nothing could be done regarding the damaged furniture. I spent hours cleaning the unit and ultimately had to dispose of multiple couches, costing me hundreds to thousands of dollars. Despite clear signs of a rodent problem, no real accountability or support was offered and I had to eat the cost. To future customers please be cautious and take my my experience into consideration. I share this not out of spite, but to protect others from similar loss and frustration.

When I reviewed the auction listing photos taken by the facility after they accessed my unit, it was clear that the contents inside had been disturbed, shifted, and thrown around compared to how the unit was originally packed. I contacted the facility in good faith to dispute the handling of my stored property and requested a postponement of the auction so I could inspect the contents before my personal belongings were permanently sold. My concerns were not acknowledged or investigated in any way. I was simply told that the only way to stop the auction was to pay the full balance of $395.02. At this point, I have no way of knowing whether any of my personal property has been damaged or gone missing prior to the sale because I have not been allowed to inspect the unit after it was accessed by the facility. Customers trust storage companies to safeguard their belongings, even during the lien process. Being told that my only option is to pay in full after my property appears to have been mishandled -- without any effort to address the condition of the contents -- is unacceptable. I have before-and-after photographic documentation and have been forced to seek further action to prevent the sale of my personal property before I am able to determine its condition.
