I don't even know where to start with From The Hip, that's how much love I carry in my heart for…read morethe company, but more importantly the feeling is mutual. From the minute you first contact FTH it will be clear that this isn't just another business. Danny and Nina have devoted their lives to ensuring each of their clients have pieces of art that perfectly capture the joy during that snapshot of time. This isn't a big box photo center with a white backdrop and a photographer trying to rush you out of there. From The Hip is a family, it's the reason people prefer small businesses. They take the time to get to know you and what exactly these photos mean to you. From senior portraits, to family sessions, to your wedding day, FTH will sit down with you, look at your Pinterest boards, talk about what clothing looks best on camera, they're transparent in their pricing and their business. From The Hip recognizes the importance that photos play in our life. These aren't just photographs to them. They're the portrait you hang above the mantle in your first home. It's what you put on your Christmas card. And it's the first impression people have when they look at your website. Don't make the mistake of going to just a photographer, turn to someone who will make you feel valuable, beautiful, and like a part of their family.

Last minute they offered to switch our day because the weather wasn't looking good and were able to fit us in the next day. The setting for the photos was beautiful. I can't wait to see the pictures, I know they'll be great!

The slide show that she created was also so beautiful. I cry every time I watch it. Eva was also so sweet and easy to work with. My husband and I are not great at taking pictures and need a lot of instruction :) and she took the stress out of it all, especially when trying to wrangle a toddler to smile or follow instructions :). She made us feel so at ease and dare I say the experience was so fun! I would absolutely recommend Eva times a million! So apprecative of her work and artistry, so that I can have these beautiful moments captured forever!

If you love their portfolio as we did, you can book them with confidence and never look back! They have perfected the art of true professionalism while making the experience so fun and warm feeling. They really make any photoshoot feel like you are hanging out with two long-time friends, which makes the experience so much fun and allows you to fully relax. Never once did we feel like we were doing a stuffy photoshoot with two cameras present. Like many 2020 wedding couples, we had to reschedule our wedding, and one of the main criteria for us was keeping them (we even switched our venue). Their website is great for all forms and information needed during the process. They are quick to respond with any answers/updates/changes you might need. The shot list ahead of time is great to have done, as it covered everything we were looking for, and they are awesome at catching any moments that pop up organically during the day. They are so patient when it comes to posing, as we were new to the process. They are kind, patient, direct and clear in their instructions. It takes away the anxiety of doing posed photos, and the finished product is truly amazing. All of our photos look so natural and candid! One of the major things that drew us to A.C. was their editing, as it didn't look like every stock wedding photographer. The finished product did not disappoint! We absolutely love our photos, and you'll find your biggest issue is choosing what photos to get printed afterwards. Too many awesome choices! During the wedding and reception, they do a great job of blending in, but never miss a moment or great shot. It honestly felt like we had 2 good friends at our wedding who happened to be capturing our memories with cameras.

I notified Savannah and Greg a little over one month after hiring them that my wedding date had to be changed because of a major life change. They are the ONLY vendor that refused to reschedule and/or refund my deposit. The best they could offer my fiancé and I was an engagement photo shoot in which we drive 7 hours and pay for hotels to meet them in a National Park that they already planned to be at.
