I've never heard of any business charging you to view the product before you purchase. I was happy I reviewed it because they misspelled a name. That would have been a disaster if we shared that. They charged us to fix their misspelling and then charged us to review it again. You have to pay 15 dollars to know if they spelled names correctly. That is kind of messed up. They are the cheapest company in town, so it may be worth it....just be aware of this practice.

Our experience working with them leading up to and the day of the wedding was great. We were looking forward to getting the photos! When they sent the link to the photos, though...well. In all honesty, I thought they had accidentally uploaded all the reject photos and sent us the wrong link. Indeed, the majority of them are either bad lighting, eyes closed, awkward facial moments, and out-of-focus. It's like they just pulled their SD chips out of their cameras, uploaded everything onto the server, and sent us a web-link. No vetting, sifting, or touch-up. And among all those reject photos, the key moment shots are not even there most of the time. Needless to say, we are very disappointed. Overall, we are pleased with the wedding video. We ended up going through it and saving stills to use as photos---it's sad, but the lighting and focus is better, plus they captured most of those key moments missing from the photos. We also gathered smartphone photos from attendees to fill in gaps. What a bummer though, ya know? We can't go back and redo our wedding day.

I was honestly surprised at how nice and helpful Nathan (the owner) was. He's incredibly knowledgable about photography and film, extremely accommodating, and just a cool dude. He helped me get everything that I needed worked with me and was also WAY CHEAPER than the competitors in the area. The other places in Denver I found either were quadruple the price of here or didn't have much to choose from. However, Doxica had everything that I needed for my shoot. I rented some DSLR's, a lav, transmitter/receiver, zoom audio recorder, Kino-flow kit and some C-stands (and they have a lot more to choose from). All the equipment was in pristine condition and he went through everything with me and explained how to use the sound equipment that I hadn't touched in years. I also forgot to add in C-Stands for my shoot and he threw them in for free. Then he gave me his cell phone number in case I had any troubles, to call him (I couldn't figure out the receiver and he answered and helped right away.) This was hands down the best rental house experience I've ever had (LA included). I don't normally do many Yelp reviews but I felt obligated to after having such a positive experience and hope other people do too and go here for their production needs.
