Yelp was a great resource and I narrowed down my choices to LA Wifi Guys, as their information gave me the most confidence. Made an appointment and David came out. Really liked his approach. Honest and transparent and not hustling me for upsells. He described my options clearly and it was easy to decide what I wanted. Not cheap, but very fair considering the higher quality solution and more experienced installation. It actually cost notably less than my original set up, which was done 6 years ago and had less features and most of all turned out crappy. David gave me an estimate for parts delivery, which turned out to be exact, and we made the install appointment for the day after. He came in and was very polite, careful and steadfast. He also was great at explaining how to operate my new system. But most of all, weeks after the install, I am sooo happy with it! I've never had this happen before. Even with our other handyman, plumbers, etc. - if you can't do the work, you don't get paid for NOT doing the work. We were told that this would cover gas expenses - why take a job that is out of your network? They knew our address well before coming out. Also, some of our intake conversations were over text, so I wish we discussed the job over photos so they knew what we wanted to do in terms of the job and give us a proper quote. Just felt very scammy and weird after them asking for money without starting the job.

He also recommended cutting the locks since he couldn't make replacement keys, which means I will have to purchase some new bike locks again soon. They've also printed a few pictures for me that needed to be on special paper. Everyone who helped me was incredibly helpful and patient. I had a project a few months back that needed to be printed on thicker paper, but I didn't know what it was called. I did my best to explain the type paper/material I wanted and they understood exactly what I needed. They even did measurements for me - I wanted the photo to look like a photo booth print, just bigger. It came out perfect!
