I requested a design I found online and the owner/henna artist put her own take on it which ultimately was even better than the online image! The owner/henna artist was super down to earth and crazy talented! She promptly answered all of my questions leading up to the appointment and continued to do so during the experience. Her pricing is very fair considering her talent and knowledge. The service was top notch! The store is adorable, and I love that the tea, candles and other items available are from local business owners as well. After the henna application, she carefully taped over it usually a special tape which protected it while the color developed that initial day. My only critique is that a portion of my henna design is significantly darker than the rest, however, I did use some self tanner the next day which I was told could lighten the stain. I just would have thought it would have lightened all of it. I'll definitely abstain from using self tanner the next time and see how it goes! I can't wait to return!

Frustrated I contacted Certified Laptop Repair and scheduled to bring in the laptop. I met with George and he couldn't have been kinder or more professional! I brought in the laptop and and not only was the battery replaced but George called me back within a few days to come pick up the laptop! It runs like new again! I was shocked at the price and even told George that I had expected to pay much more than he charged! They even disposed of some old electronics that I didn't know what to do with. I've since canceled my Geek Squad membership and Certified Laptop Repair will now be my go to for any issues that should arise with our computers in the future!

I witnessed similar experiences for other patrons. I would have loved a friendly greeting and a story about the store. After all, it's one of a kind in the neighborhood. I love how you can get cannoli Christmas ornament! At the same time, I find the store to be very niche. Personally, I don't have any needs for Little Italy merch. I feel like the employees aren't very invested in helping you and if you ask a a question it feels like a burden on them. I had called to inquire about store hours and let them know that I had come by during their listed hours but the closed sign was up and they told me there's no way that had happened. Additionally, I purchase some interchangeable needles and the price that rung up was higher than the sticker price. I hadn't noticed until I got home, so then I went back to the store a couple days later with the stickers still on there. They told me it was because of the tariffs, which I completely understand, but better customer service would honor the price that was listed on the item. They also made it feel as though it was my fault for not knowing the prices had increased (I don't live in Cleveland, so I only come to shop when I'm in town to see family). Overall, I've had multiple recent experiences with the shop that were unpleasant. I'm disappointed since the selection is nice, but given the service I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

Store: The store has two whimsical levels. The first level often has handmade decorations or twinkly lights. The second level has a gorgeous city mural. There is plenty of natural light. There is sufficient room for the kids to play on the second level and also shop. You can also linger outdoors at dainty tables. Merchandise: The store sells toys for boys and girls of various ages. From dinosaur games to doll houses, you'll find so many things here. Toys are very high quality and very unique. A lot of toys are European made. There is predominance of wood toys and educational games. You won't find the basic boring and overplayed toys. You simply won't find toys like these anywhere else in the city. I don't have kids but stop by to shop for Christmas kid drive donations. It's always so pleasant to shop here and tap into my inner child. I feel that the prices are very fair considering the quality of the merchandise. They also sometimes have great sales. Service: The owner Mariah and the team at S'il Vous Play are such lovely people. Kind, attentive, and always welcoming. Events: The toy shop offers birthday parties. I can't think of a more magical location to host one to be honest. And the location is so photogenic! Many moms I have met in the community had a lovely experience with birthdays here. The toy shop is very involved with the community and you'll find them at various events. Bring the kids to the Heights Music Hop in the fall for music and fun. Look at the store's social media for more happenings. For moms and non-moms, there are monthly women's circles hosted by the Little Scraps of Magic. The circles include tea, conversation, sound bath, and a space for womanhood. I mostly visit the store for these circles and they are soul medicine. They allow you to check out the store, tap into your inner child, and connect with local women. Parking: Parking is available onsite, it's free. Overflow parking is right next door. I can't recommend this store enough. It's just so beautiful, well designed, and filled with treasure. I highly recommend shopping here for your kids, your loved ones' kids, and checking out events. It's a true gem!
