THIS PLACE IS A CLUSTERF*CK!!!…read more This place has the distinction of being the only place meant for kids that's nestled in between a car parts store and a repair shop. My wife didn't believe I was taking her to a kids consignment shop. This is what happens when you buy a garage, turn it into a gym locker room and then throw about a million toys inside. Or at least that's the thought I had when I shuffled around this place. When I say shuffle, I mean it! This place is littered with toys and things all over the place, I spent more time shuffling sideways and stepping over things. I thought that this might of been a freak thing on the Friday I came in, so I returned on Saturday since my wife and I were in the area. It was just as messy early on Saturday than it was the day before. This place is barely organized! Some toys are grouped with other toys, but otherwise clothes are peppered anywhere and everywhere with no rhyme or reason. Scented candles, glade plugins, scented oil, spray air fresher, renuzit, patchouli incense, heck even some car air freshners from the parts store next door I don't care! Please take care of the smell inside the store! It smells like you guys grabbed twenty used sweat socks from the nearby gym, used them to cover the exhaust pipe of a 1977 Chevy Van and then piped that into the store. This is quite possibly the iciest parking lot I've encountered this winter. A little salt would help. I felt like I was in the Super Mario 3 ice level as I slid into the store, juggling the one year old in my arms. Expectant Moms, be wary. Drive by and don't stop! You probably won't even realize you're driving by! I drove by twice before I found it.

I was blown away by her genuine kindness! It was blazing hot as we waited outside to honor the guidelines of only 5 people inside at one time. There was a bench we sat on and didn't mind waiting at all. The owner actually came outside to check on us and apologize for the delay. I find that kind of attention to customers a real sign of quality customer service. The cute stand alone shop is filled with all kinds of goodies. Clothing, purses, jewelry, crystals, candles and more fill the small space. Everything was arranged properly for easy shopping. And the prices were very reasonable. My friend bought an adorable gauze shirt and I picked up some beautiful stones and crystals. My friend was looking for some tie dyed tank tops. The owner even offered to tie dye tops for her if she brought them in. Our entire experience was fantastic. I felt comfortable and found lovely things to purchase. The best part of our visit was how appreciated the owner made us feel. I will definitely return the next time I am in town!

The vintage items were a bit on the pricey end so I did not end up buying anything. The drinks (matcha latte and mocha) were both great and tasty. We sat at the front of the store on some comfy couches and watched the Kenosha race going on. It's a beautiful spot to hang out and enjoy a great drink. We also got the ricotta toast with honey drizzle. A tasty treat and nice portion. I do wish there was a bit more ricotta to balance the thickness of the bread, but still great! The motors started it up and when I tried to fly it ended up going straight to the ground so the propellers broke. No issue for me so I just said Ill take it. Before they closed they gave me a day to test everything out to make sure everything worked and even now when they reopend the worker there told me if there is an issue, bring it back and we will give you a refund. Turns out to be that the controller only stayed on with the charger plugged in and didnt charge at all. When I go back the next day to get a refund(as I was told would happen) the owner over the phone told me they cant give a refund and hung up. I tried asking if the worker could contact his boss again so we can work something out but just told him he cant talk he is too busy. I woukd think if a customer for your business is needing help with an issue you would find some time. Honestly not the best experience at all and that issue needs to be fixed if a person finds a problem with an item and if they were told they can bring it back they should stick on their word.
