They have really bad customer service . And the products they sell in taste are less than average . We order an agua fresca, Nuez flavor. We also order a tamarindo raspado. Instead of giving us a an agua fresca they gave us a shake not to mention they came back and charged us and extra $4 dollars for a shake that we never order . The Raspado had no tamarindo , it was all Ice . Needless to say as soon as we walked out and trying what we we order . We threw it out . Never coming back to this place. All the ice cream flavors here are directly shipped from Mexico, so that's when I knew it had to be authentic. Workers here are really chill and I loved the songs they're blastin. My bf and I got mangoneadas and frescas con crema. Mangoneadas: so much mango! Towards the middle it does get a little spicy and the mango bits are super drenched. Very legit taste Frescas con crema: omg I loved this so much! It's super delicious and also a lot of strawberries. The strawberries were really crisp and fresh. They have the BEST horchata! And they make it right on the spot, it's not artificial I saw her put in the condensed milk, cinnamon etc and blend it. It's a small place run by very sweet people. The cashier was patient with me as I stared at the menu, full of Mexican desserts to choose from. I settled on a mangonada and they had it ready for us in about 5 minutes which is just enough time to take pictures on/with their fun derriere-painted chairs. As we were leaving, the guy who made my mangonada quickly let us know where the spoons were so we could enjoy them on the way out. On top of that they are fully staffed no one person to ten customer ratio, and they're quick! The sense of urgency is very evident here. What I Kinda-Sorta Don't Like. It was a bit unorganized...like they didn't know who ordered what, and for a second they seemed overwhelmed because they STAY BUSY. Did they figure it out? Yes, but like I said before I wish there was a "Tip To Owner" section (Listen Up Yelp!) so I'm gonna add it myself on every review from now on. Also, I found it a bit pricey but based on the portions I can't hold it totally against them but then again remember, not everyone likes OR NEEDS big portions, me included...haha Lastly, their ice cream didn't look so yummy, so I would suggest keeping it stocked and fresh. This is definitely one of those hidden gems! I had never ventured past the Caltrain station in San Mateo and boy, am I sorry I never did! Super friendly staff who is patient while you decide very slowly what you want. The pictures are super helpful too. Nut Allergen Warning: there are almonds in the granola! MMMMM Mangonadas! Places like these are starting to pop up around the Bay Area a little more, buy hey I'm not complaining. I've tried about 5 different mangonadas at 5 different places. And I think this has been one of the best or the best. The mangoes are so sweet and juicy. And I love drinking the mango juices from the cup and MANNN my mouth is watering just thinking about it. This place has the sweetest mangoes. They're very clean which is an A+ in my book. They also have other Mexican snacks. I actually tried the Tostilocos. A lot people raved about it and it did look a bit appealing. But I didn't enjoy it at all. I think I thought about it too much, fermented pork rinds just don't intrigue me or my taste buds.
