And because I worked here, on our recent trip (and my husbands first time in the UK and London) we had to stop in so I could show him where I worked. It's almost exactly the same but it has been whitewashed from the black and grey and brick to white and grey which was odd but still the same otherwise. If you are a fan of the brand this is a great location to check out

There are also the usual other departments you would expect in a department store - shoes, women's clothing, boys and girls, gifts and housewares. Paying for your purchase is always a bit of a challenge, especially in a country that doesn't really have a service industry. A few tills ('registers'), but always a queue ('line'). There are a few good bargains here and there, but a lot of it is crap. It's all up to you and your fashion sense.

Kelly couldn't resist a smaller purse - again, stylish, sturdy and a great souvenir! The staff, despite being so busy, was lovely and gave us some good recommends for local places to grab a bite. Has a selection for both men and women. The clothing is well made and classically British. Staff is very helpful and happy to find different sizes or make suggestions. Barbour is not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive either. My jackets from here last a good number of years.

Loved this quirky little store that we stopped by during a shopping trip recently. I loved looking at everything, it was very tough not to walk out of there with like 100 items. I ended up buying a cute shower curtain and a little pepper mill shaped like a lady for about £14. The girls working there were very helpful & patient when I tried to use my US debit card (no pin & chip sadly) and they had to get my proper signature on a receipt, look at my US driver license to compare the signature, and then put that in the cash drawer. I had been browsing before our departure and saw lots of lovely things, in particular a black leather shearling jacket. A member of staff went to the store room and I tried the size one on. It was a little big which I commented on to one of the female sales staff, also mentioning that it wasn't as soft as the one on display, asking the question ' has it been tried on a lot'. Straight away she offered to go and see if there was an alternative size. On her return We both noticed that the leather was softer and when I tried the zero size it was perfect. My husband who has always been anti black leather jackets was full of praise for the fit and quality, and told me to purchase it straight away. I obviously did not need much persuading! We had to rush as our plane was ready for boarding. The staff were at all times attentive, helpful and extremely pleasant. My jacket has been worn a lot whilst we were in Switzerland and received many compliments. I only wish that Ted Baker, Gatwick Airport was on our doorstep here in Cardiff, South Wales.
