Most of the teachers have been there for years and years and are so sweet and caring and do such a great job making learning fun. They teach the children different languages and it has been so adorable having the kids come home and sing songs in Spanish to us. My son is a straight-A/B student, and he is now having a difficult time adjusting back to public school. My daughter attended kindergarten there, and I honestly feel like she was not taught the fundamentals she should have been learning. A lot of what she knows came from what we worked on at home and what she learned in Pre-K. I brought multiple concerns directly to the people in charge through emails, and unfortunately, I never felt that my concerns were properly addressed. I also have concerns about the school's future location and the lack of communication with parents regarding the upcoming move once the current contract ends. Parents deserve transparency and timely communication about major changes that affect their children. There is much more I could say, but I'll leave it at this: please do your own research, ask questions, look at the academic results, and talk to other parents before enrolling your children. My personal experience has been very disappointing, and based on what I experienced with both of my children, I would not recommend this school.

One afternoon I saw a truck of guys ride into the senior parking lot holding guns. Wheeler High school is often pronounced 'WILLER HI'. On their announcement board that sits in front of the school it currently says that they were just ranked in the top 5% of all national high schools by Newsweek. I wonder how many schools are in the top 5% of all national high schools. I had some memorable teachers here. Mr Carter Ms Taaffe Ms Carter Ms Frazer. I felt like I got a good learnin' here even though I slept through a lot of my classes. High school. I would not like to go back to high school but often I dream I am and it feels like I've been fed taco love boat again and again and again. Nowadays WILLER is much bigger than it used to be.
