Service was so terrible, i asked for a remake and she looked at me like she had never had a complaint once in her life. Her and her co-worker made it seem like i was doing too much to ask for a remake because my smoothie was melted. Once I had it remade, it looked horrible. Smoothie was falling out of the cup, does not look nice at all. It looked very inedible. Let's do better on our customer service, because they both were being very nasty towards me. This location has some great offerings. The smoothies we got were good, cold, and flavorful. The ambience inside is a bit stark with plastic tables and chairs that look scuffed and dirty. Wasn't inviting in that aspect. I did get one of the bowls with yogurt and fruit, what I didn't know is that it was blended yogurt on site, and it's not very thick. Matter of fact when I picked it up, it was already a bit liquid. Not exactly what I'd wanted, tho it was for my wife and she did rather enjoy it regardless. this location looks a bit older, it's near the mall on broadway! came in around 3:45pm today. i order an Angel Food smoothie. i'm lactose intolerant so the nice girl at the front informed me of their oat milk substitute(: i also purchased some banana chips at a pretty fair price for the quality of chip. all around a nice location & great team. drinks came out quickly & were perfect! also, add cocoa to the Angel Food. you won't regret it. read more

I was so excited when I learned that Tyler had a Smoothie King. The last time I visited one was in Midland, Texas, in 2014. The infrastructure in this one was even better than the Midland one. I liked that you can pay right up there where you order, rather than order at one end of the counter and go to the other end of the counter (into a claustrophobic area) to pay and pick up your order. They even have some indoor and outdoor seating while you wait. You give them a name, and they call it when your order is ready to pick up. I tried the Watermelon Hydration smoothie, & I'm glad I got a large, so it could last me the drive back to Athens. The staff was also friendly and helpful. I'd love to go back! read more

I hope the owner knows how horrible the customer service is at this location. I went in the other day and the girl messed up my order and then up charged me to correct it. Then promised me 3 times I wouldn't be charged twice. The next day my bank statement showed I had been as I feared charged twice. So I called that morning to see if they would refund the money, the girl told me she didn't know how to do a refund. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? So she said she would give me two free smoothies to make up for it. I show up and the person there says I can only have one.. So basically they are giving me the one I paid for, not trying to compensate me at all for the mistake. I have never been to a business that seemed to care less about the customer and retaining business. The worst customer service imaginable here! Let me explain myself...I walk in 3 young girls are standing around laughing and taking, okay fine...I order the veggie pineapple avocado smoothie with a scoop of vanilla gladiator powder. It's Friday so it's $5 for the 32 oz so I'm like cool I'll do the big one...I was on my way to work so I needed breakfast...perfect! Well then these 3 little girls in here start screaming and giggling about how they hated avocados and the smell and were going back and forth about who was going to make my smoothie. Mind you, I'm on my way to work and I'm getting really irritated because this banter went on for a few minutes until one girl says, 'you better be glad I am nice and I'll make this smoothie.' Excuse me but this is your job yes?!? I had to wait until they prepped carrots because they didn't have any ready...why were you standing around laughing and talking if there was work to be done to make sure your customers aren't waiting...I'm all about being proactive. I know my facial expression was that of total disgust because the laughter stopped and they made my smoothie...I get it and it tasted like crap! Mind you I had this exact smoothie at another smoothie king location in town and it was delish! So needless to say I won't make the mistake of returning to this location again.
