My 2 star rate comes from the lack to acknowledge customers upon walking in. Granted they were very busy but after awhile lift your head up to address the customers. Overall, two of the smoothies were great, the avocado egg toast was great but the smoothie ordered on our way out wasn't made right. I went back for the same smoothie which had ginger and the second round did not taste like the ginger was added. If you eat ginger than you would know how overpowering that taste is and that second smoothie versus my first wasn't at all the same. Please take your time to acknowledge your customers and please take your time to make the food orders right. There's always room for improvement, here's the chance. read more

The management at dale mabry/fletcher location is terrible. Literally the worst customer service I've ever experienced. They've messed up my order twice and would not give me a refund on smoothies I didn't even get. The app glitches and says the orders don't go through and then when it goes through twice management pretends like they don't know how to give you a refund they have scammed me twice. read more

This is my go-to smoothie place in Tampa! Very central location and easy parking. Service is fast and efficient. My smoothie comes out good every time. Smoothie King is just so consistent! You always know you're going to get a good smoothie! My go-to order is a Vanilla Gladiator with strawberries and bananas. It's fantastic everytime! There are also so many options for the smoothies! They have so many flavors and fruits available. And it's really friendly if you're watching your calories/macros as well. 100% will continue to come back here again and again for my post-workout smoothie cravings! read more

Awful. I normally come and get a smoothie at least once a week. I always get the same smoothie... peanut power plus with chocolate protein. I got that today and it tasted like watery chocolate protein mix. I had to throw it away and couldn't even drink it. I tried going back in to have them remake it and all she did was add more peanut butter to the original smoothie and blend it again. So that didn't work. read more

A big shoutout to Smoothie King for a fabulous rewards program. My first smoothie, Mango & Ginger, was complementary once I downloaded & setup an account from Google app. store. The process was easy, almost too good to be true! While I dropped my hubs off to grab his Soho Burger from Shula's, ordered my smoothie by phone & when I arrived, it was already made and in the fridge chilling within 5-10 min. The Mango & Ginger Smoothie also includes Vanilla Protein + other ingredients - sweet & refreshing. Their smoothies are made w/out artificial colors, no syrups, added sugar, etc. I am returning to the office after working from home for +6 months, so I def. plan on returning to take advantage of other deals including $2 off/smoothie. 4 Stars because my order is always made fresh and the staff is usually courteous. I have become a regular at this location on Fridays lately because the medium smoothie is only $5, which is a deal if you are a smoothie fan like me. I have come to look forward to my weekly treat. I have tried several of the smoothies and they are all made fresh to order. I avoid the ones with dairy or supplements. I have found though that the staff is very accommodating with making small adjustments to meet my tastes when asked, however. I have the app so payment is always quick and easy. I've been to a few Smoothie Kings. The smoothies are usually great. I wish I was able to get one at this location. Just a few days ago I went in to get my girlfriend and I a smoothie in the morning. She requires a liquid based meal every now and then, and a smoothie sounded like a good idea. I ordered my smoothie online through the mobile app. I drove and walked to the door. Locked, and closed. No note. No notice. Nothing. The hours of the business clearly state that doors open at 7 AM, this was at 8:30 AM. Several other customers came by hoping to get a smoothie. I waited for a while, and still no one showed up. So no employee was there, which these things happen from time to time, it's just my luck. However, I have contacted Smoothie King via email, the "contact us" page, and Twitter, and I have received nothing but radio silence. All I want is a refund for the order I placed on the mobile app, and some resolution to this absent employee problem. read more

I thought Tropical Cafe smoothies were all the rage but Smoothie King is my new spot for a fantastic smoothie. The immune booster with whey protein is what I had and I could taste the ground up fresh fruit. The flavor is noticeably better. Interesting, it also took less time to make the smoothies than at Tropical Cafe. The prices and portion sizes are about the same. This location is clean and efficient. Smoothie King was a great addition to the Soho area of South Tampa. A chain store, there's a more more localized feel to his one although they stick to the corporate smoothie concoctions and model. I have been told that the owner of this Smoothie King owns Fruitwood Standup Market next door. The store is located on the end of a commercial building and there's ample outdoor seating at the side and front of the store (facing Swann Ave.) but only stand up room in the store. The store is stocked with some healthier options as well as supplements and quick meal replacements or nutrition boosts as well. The employees are nice and efficient in the times that I've been there and he smoothies turn out well. I'm personally a fan of omitting turbinado sugar from the smoothie creations, as I find that they are sweet enough on their own. I recommend checking this place out if you're in need of some reasonable nutrition or some level of detox from regular grub. It seems they used decent ingredients and their smoothies always taste and are consistently good. I will continue to patronize this shop. Thanks Smoothie King! read more

Usually I make my protein shakes at home, but if I'm in a splurging mood I'll grab a smoothie at Smoothie King. There are so many delicious options to choose from on the menu. Once you've selected your flavor from the menu you can add extra protein powder, boosters and supplements to your shake. I'm a big fan of the Slim-N-Trim Orange Vanilla because it tastes like an orange creamsicle. My other favorites are the Angel Food shake, which is really light in taste and the High Protein Banana which keeps me full throughout the day. If you are a frequent customer they have a stamp card so you get daily discounts and a free drink after so many visits. read more

I had a Gladiator smoothie with peanut butter and banana, which is what I usually get. I went to this store over my normal store and wish I wouldn't have done so. The smoothie did taste good as always, but the person who made the smoothie didn't fill it up all the way. I asked the girl why it wasn't full, to which I was told that was normal...even though I have never had one that wasn't full. I come in here for wheat grass shots which my doctor suggested I start consuming. The staff is friendly. They always chat me up. They know what I want so even if there is a line my order is so quick they give it to me without waiting. I appreciate this because waiting for several smoothies to be made can be time consuming. Hmmm...where shall I begin...? I guess I'll start with location. Prime, yes, because it's in the middle of so much or not far from it. Makes it convenient for those that live near by to walk and grab a smoothie. Parking-not ample, always packed because of the little plaza it's in and the location-typical South Tampa issue. Customer service: There's such a thing here? Every time I pop in, whoever is working seems to be less than friendly. Funny how that is considering the location-you'd think they'd be a tad more friendly to earn the locals business. Smoothie King has never been my all time fav smoothie shop. I actually take less of a smoothie variety and go the Natures Table because that woman who runs the shop has awesome customer service skills. The service here is so nice! I always have trouble choosing what I want because of all the options on the menu and the employees are always ready to help me choose. I love the intense fruit flavor. I wasn't aware of the skinny option, but I definitely asked him not to add as much sugar to my smoothie. It is always too sweet, as it was this time. I stopped in after a run on Bayshore and the service was excellent. How these poor employees can concentrate on making six smoothies at a time is amazing and everyone's orders were correct. My favorite smoothie is their Slim-n-Trim with only chocolate protein powder, banana, ice, and soy milk. It is delicious and I order it without the added sugar and it is still plenty sweet. A seemingly indulgent treat after a run with less than 200 calories and still packs a protein punch. They also deliver smoothies to our Monday night run group which is so sweet! I am ADDICTED to Smoothie King. I thought all smoothie places were the same (not really fresh fruits and a bunch of added sugars) but Smoothie King is different. They are really concerned with being natural and not adding a lot of extra junk and sugar. You can even ask for a skinny option and they take out the cane juice and just use the fruit sugars. I get the Gladiator smoothie with banana and PB and it's so filling and delicious. It's been keeping me full for a lunch and gives me the protein I need to build lean muscles. I always get my smoothie here because it's really convenient. It's at a walking distance for me but I choose to drive., go feature.
