I was surprised to see the stars are so low on this location. We came in after doing a 5k walk and needed something to recharge our batteries. The smoothies from this location were great and the service was quick. read more

I'm very upset I frequently get a açaí bowl here . It's expensive but has been a treat . Today I ordered one and it's half full . I ask the employee and she told me they were using too much product and this is their new policy. But it's the same $13 price point . Why would anyone in their right mind pay the same price for half of what they usually receive. read more

What's the point of covid social distance if u. Any place a phone order. They never answer the phone here and this location smells rotten It shouldn't be 2 people working here not answering the phone or taking orders. This is sad that the rim smoothie king is the best location. You guys need to fix this your losing customers that need to place orders at work for they're break or after workouts. And protein must be consumed right after workouts Line always long. And no one answering phone calls or taking orders the correct way. Shouldn't be one person making smoothies when this is the top smoothie spot in San Antonio. Smoothie king needs to stop being cheap and do better. Ppl have gym sessions to get to, work and kids to pic up. And no one is practicing social distancing. read more

2 stars. Makes sense. We called earlier today, Sunday, to confirm hours due to Covid-19, and the lady we spoke with said 9pm. We went here at 8:22pm and they were already closed.. read more

I read the reviews and I was hesitant at first. I've been coming here for months and I've had nothing but pleasant experiences each time. I usually order from the app and it's ready by the time I get there. It's typically early morning when I go but the workers are very attentive and quick. read more

Smoothie King - Employees were willing to help and very friendly. - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

Slowest ever. Twenty minutes to make a smoothie with the place completely empty? I've worked in the same industry. I also watched the girl drop my lid on the floor and not bother to clean it. Thank God for her coworkers. So the drink isn't even correct. I'm drinking a mint green slushy. Barely any peanut butter, absolutely ZERO dates, and I'm not sure there's protein powder in it. Wish I'd tasted it before I left. read more

Somehow or another I got enrolled in text messaging marketing for this franchisee's locations which apparently include this one, 1604 and Bulverde. They sent out a text marketing blast advertising a BOGO offer today only. I was actually at the location closer to my house and saw the text blast and drove all the way over here for them to tell me it's the marketing promotion that every location is running that if you buy one today you get one free next week. The text message was very misleading stating "Visit us today and Buy One Smoothie Get One FREE" and Exp 06-21-20 -- not mentioning anything about the free smoothie being next week. A little bait-and-switch if you ask me so I'll avoid these three locations. Also worth noting they didn't blend the smoothie very well so it's super thick and not very "drinkable." Maybe double-blend in the future? read more

The front of the store looked nice, how ever the men's bathroom was disgusting, urine on the toilet seat dried up, so it was obviously there for a while, moldy toilet paper on the plunger dried up, trash all over the ground, and to top it off, no soap in the bathroom. Makes you wonder how the employees or guest are washing there hands during a pandemic. read more

The worst smoothie king I've ever been to. I waited for over 30 mins for my smoothie , and I didnt even get it. After the 30 mins is when I decided to ask for my money back and they didn't even comp me for next time or offer to still make my smoothie. Terrible customer service, it seems like the workers try to avoid talking to customers. I have only been to this location 3 times and every time it's a pretty long wait. I'm a very patient person but I think 30 mins is way over board. read more

Placed a order at 7:30am and when I arrived the place was still closed on Friday. 7/22/22 The young man that works here didn't show up until 8:02am. Now he's got a line of 4 people inside waiting. Store hours at this locations are Monday-Friday 7am-9pm This has never been a issue. But it did cause a Inconvenience. read more

I don't know what's up with all the harsh views on this SK?? I went there with low expectations after reading the reviews but the three women that worked behind the counter were pleasant and played their role! One took my order. One made my smoothie. One cleaned up the counter. It was like a well oiled machine. I couldn't have been happier with my experience. (Again I read these reviews and expected to hate it going in there but was pleasantly surprised!) read more

I usually go to Keva to get my smoothies but I was on this side of town and wanted to try something new. Smoothie King appears to cater to the fitness crowd. This was great seeing as though I was looking for a protein smoothie. I purchased the Strawberry Hulk. The Hulk is classified as a meal replacement and that it is. I ordered the medium and was unable to finish the entire serving. The smoothie was delicious and affordable. read more

Don't come if you have anywhere to be! It takes forever. I was the only one in the store with my impatient 2 year old. They clearly saw and still processed to make 3 online orders before making mine. I watched them the entire time, they had no sense of urgency. read more

Smoothie King is like a crazed, fruity kick to the taste buds. Offering every kind of fruit combination you can imagine, Smoothie King provides folks with endless blended fruit choices. Smoothies are the perfect pick-me-up and, after playing tennis in the sweltering heat last night, I was ready to be elevated. I went with the pineapple snack right smoothie, which also includes strawberries and kiwis. It was great after my workout, as pineapple and strawberries almost always are. Smoothie King offers several sizes, and has different caloric categories (do you want to Stay Healthy or Indulge?) to help you decide which smoothie to go with. They also have a pretty good array of healthy snacks, like veggie sticks that were being sampled, to vitamins and protein bars. (A side note about the veggies sticks: they tasted like mildly flavored Styrofoam. That's all.) I would guess that one of Smoothie King's major competitors is Jamba Juice and I have to say, I think I still prefer the taste of Jamba over the King. Smoothie King has a bit of an odd, mineral taste that I don't find in Jamba's smoothies. I still like Smoothie King though and enjoy feeling good about a food purchase. Just remember, a smoothie packs about as many calories as a small meal, so don't think of them as just a drink. read more

drinks are extremely inconsistent at this location. service isn't bad, just need more training on how drinks are made.

Saturdays are busy. We understand. We can also understand being brief by rushing through talking to customer to get orders out. But giving an ugly look to someone who is says they have one more thing to add; and shaking your head when paying customers walk in is literally bad business. It's also disrespectful. The young man working beside you was uncomfortably left to smile and work to get orders fulfilled. This was at 6pm on October 30th. There were two employees at this time. One star for getting the drinks out and being made correctly. But here's hoping the woman with the red hair realizes that this is a customer based business and you have to talk to people. read more

I am an avid smoothie lover specifically from Smoothie King but this location is hands down the worst location that I've been to. When I first walked in, it smelled of mildew and dirty water. I went ahead ordered and the young girl was extremely unfriendly. I waited for my order to be called and headed out the door, this was the worst smoothie, I had ever had. Being a creature of habit, my smoothie of choice is the same every time so I know exactly what it should taste like but this day was different, it was terrible. I'm not sure if she didn't know how to make it or was just being lazy about it but it was gross. I won't be back to this location. read more

Very unprofessional... I was waiting for over 10 minutes for one smoothie when there was nobody else in the store. The three young girls working where laughing and chatting obnoxiously loud and one girl was even on her phone while I waited. While I waited for them to take my order one girl gave me a dirty look as well. They didn't wear gloves or wash their hands from handling the cash register to scooping ice and making my smoothie. I'm not sure if that's normal but it's a little off putting. I love smoothie king but I will not be return back to this location any time soon. read more

I was extremely disappointed in the lack of basic customer service, it honestly was astounding and discouraging.
