I tried a coco bread (presumably with coconut milk in it), which was handy for sopping up my sauce but not anything that really jumped out at me. There were a few other vegetable dishes and an extensive selection of juices and Caribbean sodas, so plenty of ways to get the island flavor. She asked if I was planning on coming back. I said yes, hoping the drink would steer me to return, but how do you answer a question like that when you haven't even tasted the product? I believe this is a new location in a small strip center in front of a large apartment complex. The Zebulon Rd area has lots of retail and restaurant options. The interior was spotless and the staff were very friendly. I had my usual Detox Island Green smoothie. I love the mixture of spinach, kale, mango, pineapple, bananas and ginger. It's naturally sweetened and for 180 calories, it's a guilt-free pleasure. I added a scoop of whey protein to get my protein count up. For my meal, I had the chicken pesto flatbread. This has been my go-to at TSC for years. Who doesn't love pesto, parmesan, tomatoes and chicken in a soft flatbread wrap? My items were prepared quickly and the lady actually came from behind the counter to deliver my bag to me. How nice vs just calling out my name. I hope the locals and visitors like me discover this new location. You won't be disappointed!
