It might be a placebo effect (okay, it's probably a placebo effect), but when I'm sick or coming down with a cold, smoothies and fresh fruit and veggie juices perk me right back up. Smoothie King is more chemical laden and processed than my typical Arden's Garden or Rawesome Juicery selections, but in a pinch, it does just fine. I recommend the immune booster smoothie when you're feeling under the weather, as it comes laden with an extra shot of echinacea to banish sniffles and sore throats. Ask for your smoothie "skinny" to have the added sugar (fancifully described on the menu as a "turbinado shot") left out. This move will also save you about a hundred calories per drink, making a smoothie here a reasonably healthful indulgence. The store was manned with only a single staffer when I arrived around 8am, but as I was the only customer, it didn't inhibit the speed at which my order was taken, drink made, and payment processed (and yes, they handle those steps in that order). All in all, an a-ok spot to get some frozen, fruity goodness. read more

I went to Smoothie King to pick up Greek Banana Bowls for myself and my mom, who had just had surgery. Instead of getting what I ordered, I was given something completely different. To make matters worse, I ended up paying almost twice what I normally would have for the order. When I pointed out to the employee that this wasn't what I had ordered, she argued with me instead of trying to fix the mistake. Her attitude was basically, "too bad," and there was no attempt to correct the order or provide any kind of customer service. The entire experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Between receiving the wrong order, paying significantly more than expected, and being treated so poorly, I won't be returning to this location. Customer service and accountability matter, and unfortunately, this place showed neither. read more

I purchased a large smoothie and it was very thick (more ice than normal) Not creamy and smooth like normal. You couldn't even drink from the straw. I was already on the road so I called the number on the receipt only to find out it was not a good phone number. read more

Corporate needs to shut this place down. I ordered a PB Swizzle and was super disappointed with the portion size. And the taste of their açaí bowl, which was chunky and icy instead of smooth. Not to mention the person who handed me the bowl didn't bother wiping it down and gave me a sticky bowl. They also ran out of napkins, and after I asked they gave me paper towels with his sticky gloves on. read more

Extremely disappointed. This is my first & last time at this location. My smoothie tasted & looked different & I order a bowl as well & I got cheated on that. The prices are higher & the customer service wasn't great. No one greeted me or the following customers coming in. This place can use a cleaning. I will never come to this location again. In the photos look at the portion of the bowl read more

Our smoothies were great. The dead roach up front kept us company while we waited. There was a slight musk in the air. Delish! read more

Just ordered smoothie king and all I gotta say is wth is this?? And no I haven't touched it yet I had just took the lid off and put the spoon in. Idk if the worker was pissed off cause they had to work on New Year's Day, but if that's the case suck it up!! you work in customer service, prepare for the worst and do your job..right. But if they were out of the smoothie wouldn't it be smart to just say something instead of half assing it? I'm so pissed rn read more

Smoothie King - Coco haze Smoothie bowl - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Gainesville, Georgia

The place is filthy and employees act like you are inconveniencing them when you are ready to order. Smoothies are good when they have all the ingredients but that is a rarity. Cannot recommend read more

The employees were kind and helpful. Our smoothie and bowl were delicious! Highly recommend!

This was a terrible experience. 35 minutes standing in the store while online orders were taking a priority. The employee was nice enough but they need more than one person working or limit the online orders. read more

First, I'm a big time Smoothie King fan and have always enjoyed stopping at the Gainesville GA store ... but recently ... time before last my Angle Fllod, large, just wasn't as sweet as usual, almost unsweet, but I was on my way home so I lived with It. But my visit two days ago left me disappointed. Walking in I noticed an unpleasant smell, an odor. It smelt "old", not clean. There was what appeared to be trash in plain sight. The attendant who took my order was dour, lethargic, disinterested. I did not feel welcomed as usual. My smoothie was great tasting but it bit "icy", almost crunchy. Looking at the counter preperation surfaces I could see the entire length was messy, splashed with ingredients. I left not having shared more than a very few words with the staff, whereas I am used to a little friendly chitchat. Smoothie King ... what's going on? read more

Stopped in for a sweet treat on the way home from a cousins weekend. We are vegan and had the mango, spinach and the pineapple spinach vegan treats which were fabulous! The service was good, fast and friendly. The facility was clean and had easy access. We also bought the dark chocolate banana bites and they were awesome! I will def. Visit the Salt Lake location when I get home. read more

I enjoy a smoothie, most of the time it comes out as it should. I order the same thing all the time. The last three times we have been my Smoothie dries out with ice still in the cup. These cost too much to not be happy with them. I am not sure why they do not turn out the same every time. It's a formula. It must be lack of training. read more

The last orange push-up is so good! It's really nice for when it's super hot and you don't have much of an appetite. But I've also really enjoyed it when I had a sore throat that made it hard to eat anything. read more

I love this location. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. I know I'm annoying looking at the menu up close for like 10 mins like uhhhhhmmmmmmm... but they are super nice. Feels super clean in here as well. It stays steady for obvious reasons. Definitely leave a tip! Even the cents or a dollar adds up :) read more

The smoothie was not good. I got the peanut power plus and it tasted like nothing but peanut butter and milk! It wasn't blended well either. I didn't try it until I was in the car on my way back to work. I didn't think a "smoothie" couldn't be messed up but I was wrong. I tried to call twice and no answer. I won't be going back! read more

Lately, someone has not been blending right. There's the word smooth in smoothies. The consistency is not that good. Not blended enough, too much leftover ice, and sometimes it's too thick read more

I've been to this Smoothie King location a handful of times and today was actually my first great experience. My server was nice and even though my smoothie tasted nothing like it's 'culinary name' it was very tasty. I did exempt an ingredient that probably gave it it's name. My past few experiences were met with ho-hum service, upon feeling rushed to order. My server this time was informational and willing to answer my questions unlike in the past (dairy or sugar questions) I know, it's just a smoothie - fruit and ice, but you would be surprised that it's possible to receive a less than par smoothie. This one was right on :) read more

Smoothie King - the front of a smoothie king restaurant - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Gainesville, Georgia

I'm super disappointed in regards to how Smoothie King is handling everything that's going on in the world right now. They're still allowing people to come into the restaurant to place orders and haven't gone strictly to curbside take out. As I drove by today before potentially placing a curb side order, there were about 12 people inside all waiting for orders. No one had on masks or anything. And it looked like there weren't any precautions being made in order to protect their customers. Super disappointing for such a huge franchise. read more

Amazing staff at this location. Super friendly. I usually call in and they have it ready for me when I get there. The smoothie tastes amazing everytime. read more

I love this location and we get a smoothie every week after my chemo treatments. We use the app to order ahead and when we get there they bring out our order to curbside. The smoothies are always so good and the employees are always so pleasant. I look forward to going each week! read more

Had my first and only bad experience at a Smoothie King here. The guy behind the counter couldn't be bothered to take my order and I stood there for 5 minutes waiting for him to wash a blender. He looked at me as I walked in and never said a word. A woman finished her cigarette outside the store and came in, hovered around next to me, and the guy behind the counter looked at her and said "welcome to Smoothie King. What can I help you with". I started to say "hey there sailor, hold on just a minute. I was first!" but instead, I walked out and took my business with me. I'll never go inside that Smoothie King again. read more

I showed up at 7:57 and they open at 7 and they still haven't unlocked the door yet and I have come several times at at this time before

I love Smoothie King, especially the Angel Food smoothie, but this is the third day in a row when I have beaten the employee here. It's 7:05 and the store is closed and doesn't look like its gonna open anytime read more

The smoothie was great-however, no toilet paper or paper towels in the bathroom. Also, the woman making the smoothie was wearing a visor that was filthy! Her shirt was soiled as well, however, it looked like something spilled. read more
