Worst customer service. Tried to tab my card to pay for order and it added a high tip without even asking me. I asked for them to cancel the order and said they couldnt do it. I go into smoothie king two hours before closing and they tell me they can't make a smoothie bowl. So I place an order online and when I go back in to pick it up, I asked them why they couldn't make a bowl and they said that making smoothie bowls is an inconvenience for them. Two hours before they close????????? I asked for her name and she didn't want to provide me with her name. And was being disrespectful the second I walked in. In the pictures provided you can see two different sides of the bowl was just full of granola (no I didn't add extra granola) and no açai. I went to the smoothie king today with my son. We walked in we were not greeted by your staff. Both young men looked at my son and I several times and continued to do their work. We continued to stand at the register, ready to order and were never asked "can I help you" or "give us just a moment". Nothing. So I told my son let's go ahead and leave. Upon leaving I said "it would've been nice to be greeted with a Hellllo or even a brief nod or smile", these teo young me. continued to do whatever they were doing, and ignored us. its disappointing that a place we frequent gave us such a bad moment. Please train your staff on customer service and just plain polite gestures which are basic necessities in the workforce. I go to this smoothie king once a week. The employees are always so friendly and so quick with orders. I was even more impressed that when I placed an order the first time here, the girl working noticed I was pregnant and said one of the proteins isn't recommended for pregnant women because of the enzymes in it. I'm no stranger to Smoothie King and their great smoothies. Today's trip did not disappoint. I ordered my 20 ounce Angel Food smoothie just like always and it was delicious and refreshing. They have a large selection of choices and even more ways to customize your order to exactly what you want. There was some seating inside (2 tables with chairs and 3 chairs) but not really enough if it's busy like it was today. Probably not the best place to bring your laptop and get some work done but definitely keep it in mind if you want to order a smoothie and take it to go. I wasn't greeted when I walked in, and the cashier was very matter-of-fact, almost rude. It was pretty busy, so I understand but at the same time, a "Hi, how's your day going?" goes a long way in the service industry. SO GLAD they built this smoothie king down the street from where I live! I no longer have to drive to Allen for a smoothie (not a big fan of the smoothie king in McKinney). They were busy but I was able to walk in & instantly order. I got 2 medium smoothies in 5 minutes! 5 MINUTES! That's the fastest I've ever gotten a smoothie at a smoothie king with 3 PEOPLE AHEAD of me waiting on their smoothies. I had to double check it was for me because it was fast. & the people are so friendly! Hope they keep up the awesome work! My order was given to someone else. Granted it was busy and looked chaotic behind the counter. Last 2 times I've been up here they've made the smoothie wrong - I don't order anything special, just menu items with no changes...but they mix up the fruits that go in them. They offer to remake them, but that's just an epic waste, and I don't want that to happen. This last time, she didn't scan my rewards in correctly and "whoops, no way to get them now", just stinks when you're spending $20+ on smoothies for all the kids.
