Love this franchise location! The lines are long, but they move fast! This team works well together and all my orders are ready to go at the window for pickup. I just tried their new egg avocado toast and protein yogurt bowl. The flavors are good but I would add more salt to the toast and less cocoa nibs in the yogurt. I mainly do drive through, but as the door is not automatic and the handicap parking is shared with the lot so I avoid going in when driving is easier. When I do go in, I like to sit outside as they have 2 patio tables so you can enjoy your fresh options right away. read more

Absolutely blown away by this location! We walked in a little after they opened and were immediately greeted. There were two employees visible, not sure if there was someone else in the back. These two looked fairly young, but wow were they efficient. What a well oiled machine! They took our order and finished making 2 smoothies in under 3 minutes!!! And within that time frame they were raving about a new girl that was has been working there for only 2 weeks and was inquisitive about being just as efficient as they were. We love young hard workers. This attitude will get you far in life. It's absolutely refreshing to see, hear, and know there is hope for the future. And I would like to point out that the bad reviews here are from customers who came in close to closing... Maybe just chill at home and go the next day? Or leave a generous tip if you're going to be THAT customer. I promise you you won't die if you don't get a smoothie just before 9pm. Just follow Gremlin rules and don't partake of smoothies after 8:30pm or else you'll be possessed to leave a bad review for your poor timing. read more

I love that this location has a drive thru. Great options. Smoothies and bowls are always made well. Friendly and prompt. No complaints.

The smoothies taste great and the employees are super friendly. Fast service and clean store

Non-existent service and management appears to be lacking ... avoid this place and try elsewhere. We live close to the valley, so I'm pretty sure the newly opened Tropical Smoothie Cafe will be getting our future business. Friday, 12/8, 8:45 AM ... sat in drive thru for three to five minutes before hearing anything on voice box. Employee says she needs a minute. Wait three more minutes (then left) ... employee never come back up to take order. Monday, 12/11, 8:45 AM ... sat in drive thru for two minutes, with no employee interaction. Drive to window, but lights are off and no employees present. It's like a mystery wheel of outcomes when going to this location. Month ago, my wife went to order an acai smoothie bowl 15 minutes before closing ... employee told her they were done making those for the day. Just seems like the workers do what they choose / want to do rather than what they are being paid to do. Would give this place ZERO stars if it was an option. read more

I'm unsure why there are any negative reviews. I love the employees and smoothies at this location. They are always professional and efficient! I'll continue coming back! read more

This is my third time disappointed with the service here. The first time I got out of line after waiting 15 minutes for someone to take my order. I proceeded to go inside and wait another 15 mins for my smoothie and it was not busy. I now am coming back my third time and only one person is working both the drive through and the inside cashier AND making smoothies... I don't know why I keep coming back to this location as I am trying to keep my hopes up but keep getting disappointed. read more

I never make reviews but this is more of a tip. Well usually the smoothies there are good.. but a message for the young man on the Sunday shift 12.13.20 at 10:30... blend the smoothies all the way please. I'm not mad or anything just pretty disappointed. I wasn't given a receipt and paid cash for it but I got a peanut power plus smoothie and added chocolate & strawberry to it. That's my favorite smoothie. Unfortunately I threw it away. I couldn't drink it. There were small ice chucks and chunks of chocolate in it. Typically I don't complain but that was an unbearable taste.. I'll come back, I've learned my lesson to make sure it is blended well next time read more

Smoothie King - a person holding a cup with bacon on it - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Ellisville, Missouri

Smoothie was great. Service was not. I walked in at 8:30pm... 30min before close. A young tall blonde gal looked annoyed when she saw me come in. She seemed to be actively stocking up for the next day and I was interrupting that. I felt like my presence was an inconvenience to her. No hello. No acknowledgment, just walked up to the register and looked at me. After taking my order she went ahead and made it. And another young gal who was mopping poured it and handed it to me. Then I was out the door. I've been to other smoothie kings and I know this isn't the type of service expected by the franchisee. Perhaps she was having a bad day... had to get somewhere right at 9pm at close, who knows. Just felt uncomfortable and like I was inconveniencing her. Again great smoothie though. read more

I love the smoothies at Smoothie King! The team is always so friendly and helpful! The store is always clean and inviting!

Service was so slow and there was no one else in the drive thru. I just wanted a smoothie bowl and it took 30 freaking minutes. A quick trip to the local smoothie king took longer than going to an actual smoothie bowl place. They did offer us a pup cup which was very nice but they need to hurry it up. New employees that are driven and hardworking would help them a lot. I'm so upset! read more

7:45pm, I am told they are "done" with smoothie bowls for the day. It's clear they do not enjoy making them. At first she said they were out of Açaí, but then I said Pitaya was fine and she quickly said they are "done" for the day. I get it. You don't need my business. read more

Very disappointed in my service today. When I walked in, the two teenage girls were bad mouthing a customer who had come through the drive-through. Then, the girl that took my order was clearly not interested in answering any questions, not to mention she gave me wrong information that another girl corrected. Finally, I ordered 32 ounce. I received a 20 ounce, so I questioned and the girl came over and dumped my 20 ounce into a 32 ounce and added a little more from the blender but it was not full. Zero customer service. read more

You would think that the Smoothie King gift card inventory would be monitored, so they would always be available for purchase at the store. This location was out of gift cards, so I left empty handed. Poor management. read more

I have never had a bad Smoothie King experience. They're staff is always kind and they never mess up your order. Smoothie king is my favorite place ever. They're smoothies are the best smoothies you will ever taste. I think Smoothie King deserves 5 stars unlike all the other reviews. read more

We arrived at 8:30pm and the front door was locked. The signage indicated the store closes at 9pm with no indication that they were closing early on the inside. The staff looked us in the eyes and did not come to let us know they were closed. We decided to try the drive through, where we were able to order. The menu was poorly lit and difficult to see. We asked if the lobby closes early to which the staff member said yes. I will not be returning to this smoothie king after this completely unprofessional experience. read more

Terrible service Team is poorly managed. Random people not dressed in uniform helping behind the counter. No one knew what was going on with ingredients. read more

This place is horrible. Sat in the drive thru for over 25 mins after I ordered online. Only 4 cars in line. They need more help or a better way to do this. Let me add the window person this evening was rude. 9/10/21 ~5 pm if the owners want to find out who was in charge at this time. Would NOT recommend this location at all. read more

Friendly staff, great customer service! The staff here always has great suggestions when I'm needing a switch up from my regular drink. A couple times the service was a bit slow but I think it was mainly due to new employees. read more

Super convenient location and drive thru is quick. They used to have all advertised products available and had great customer service. The last three times (in a row) we went there, they were out of multiple items. The smoothies are not mixed well the last few times, they come out chunky. We asked the workers when items might come back in stock, if ever. They had no idea. Zero communication from the manager to employees. Hoping they improve because now we have to drive to the Chesterfield Valley to Smoothie King which is an extra 20 minutes. read more

Used to love this Smoothie King, but the service, product, and wait is just not great anymore. Wanted to give them another chance after the last couple times when they didn't mix / blend the ice very well....this time was the worst. We waited in the Drive Thru for 10 min for just 2 cars in front of us to order. When we got up to order, they were out of yogurt, so they could not make any of our top smoothies. So we drove off w/o ordering. Very disappointing. read more

I placed an online order and got there 5 minutes after the expected time. They gave my drink to someone else right before I got there. Our names were not even similar. I spent 20 minutes of my lunch break waiting for them to remake my drink. read more

This store has done great during Covid, they are always respectful and get me what I order in a timely manner. The teenagers that work there are always nicer then expected!! Definitely recommend to friends!! read more

Waiting in drive through for last 15 minutes. Only 3 cars ahead of me. I give up. Service is a train wreck at this location.

Three Friday's in a row they have gotten my order wrong. Today at the window I verified what my order should be, they repeated it back to me and then proceeded to charge me and give me the wrong smoothie. This location is so slow and cannot get anything correct. read more

Tried calling the manager four different times and and his staff did as well to see about donating 15 smoothies for a non-profit and never got back to us. Not to mention he failed to tell his staff about another large order that wasn't ready when the client arrived. read more

Extremely disappointed in my visit here. I have been to many other locations in the St. Louis area that have been great. I pulled up the drive thru - and ordered one 20 oz smoothie. When I got the window to pay - I waited 5 minutes and the staff came to the window with a smoothie that wasn't mine. When I told her what I had ordered - she began to jokingly yell at her coworker to make my smoothie. Another few minutes passed and another person came back to the window asking what I had gotten. I repeated my order and after asking everyone - realized they still hadn't made it. Another 5 minutes passed and they asked me to pull up and park and they would bring it out. After waiting another 10 minutes, someone brought out my smoothie and verbatim said 'Sorry, we forgot about you'. It was an incredibly unprofessional experience from the beginning. When I relayed the story to a friend who lives near this location - she shared similar past experiences that had been had and commented on the lack of management and professionalism. Disappointed as I love the smoothies - but won't be returning to this location read more

Had an awful experience on 2/29/20. Ordered 2 smoothies. After 25 minutes of waiting, received only 1. When I asked where the other one was, no one knew. The staff was in disarray. We could not wait any longer, so I told the staff I would just have to leave. There was no offer for a refund, or anything like that. Will never go here again. read more

Great service. Thank you for working with my wife's food allergies. You made her a great smoothie!!!

I work in the area and frequently stop in at this location. They're always friendly and fast. They don't hesitate making a new recommendation and every time I try what they recommended, it's been great. read more

I wish I could leave 0 stars!!! Terribly rude, ZERO customer service from the top down! Owner/Manager? Debbie H. was so rude & disrespectful today I'll never patronize Store #1175 Ellisville, MO again. Understandably, the drive-thru was very busy so I went inside to place my order. I understand Fridays are usually busy due to the $5 smoothie offer. I ordered 2 smoothies in plastic cups; I asked the employee twice to be sure they were in plastic & he reassured me that's what I'd receive. I waited a bit & noticed there was 1 smoothie(in a foam cup) on the counter that had sat for a while. In the meantime, several other customers picked up their orders from that same area. A couple of employees had called out the flavor(it was 1 I'd ordered) but I didn't think it was part of my order because; 1.) It was in foam, not plastic as I'd requested & 2.) I'd ordered 2 smoothies. Finally, when I was the only customer inside the location, I asked an employee if it was part of my order & mentioned that I didn't think it was because I'd requested plastic & that I'd ordered 2 smoothies. She said it indeed was mine. I told her I didn't want it because it had sat on the counter too long & wasn't in the correct cup. That's when I had the misfortune to encounter Debbie H. She insisted I take the old smoothie, it hadn't sat too long in her opinion. When I refused she got highly upset & raised her voice at me. I told her I thought it had sat too long & besides that, it was in the incorrect cup. It didn't matter to her, she told me to, "Get out, this is my place!" She repeatedly yelled at me to get out of her place, as if I should just leave without what I'd already paid for! I told her I'd gladly leave AFTER I received my smoothies(she didn't ask if I'd like my money back). I'm unaccustomed to being spoken to in such a rude & disrespectful manner! I thought about asking for my money back but she was so upset, rude, & disrespectful that I thought better of it. She seemed to be showing off for her young audience(there were several seemingly high school-age employees working with her). I'm not sure if she was having a bad day or if the stress of being busy made her snap, but there is no excuse for her behavior. If she is a supervisor or owner she is a poor example of customer service for her employees. I don't think it was asking too much to ask to receive what I ordered & good customer service. I will NOT be returning to this location as this is the 2nd time I have been treated disrespectfully at store #1175. I will take my business to another Smoothie King or stop patronizing them 100%. There are many other places to buy smoothies. I now understand why there are so many negative reviews for store #1175. If Debbie H. is the owner or manager, poor customer service is the norm at that location. This is unacceptable behavior over A SMOOTHIE. read more

best smoothie king in the whole wide world! i love the staff!!
