They deliver the produce in a reusable bag on my doorstep. They are SO communicative. Each week, they post what is coming for that week so you have an idea of what to expect. You can fill out a 'do not send' list online if there is anything you don't like, and you can update it at any time. They also have fresh eggs you can add, as well as other add ons from local companies. You can change your preferences at any time, including how frequently they come (weekly, bi-weekly or monthly). All the produce is organic and it's all been delicious! It lasts so long as well. If you have an issue with something being fresh, their costumer service is great. The portion sizes are great as well. I've been very pleased and would highly recommend their delivery service!

In fact they have all of the vitamins you're used to finding at the grocery store and then some you may have never heard of. They've got energy and protein bars, protein powders and shake mixes, serious lunch boxes for meal prep. They even have food and spices for folks with dietary restrictions like GF for example. The most surprising thing I found here was the entire kombucha bar. You can buy a growler or bring in your own and fill it up from the tap. The prices weren't so different from what I've seen at grocers and drugstores for the same stuff. That's surprising for a specialty store. And staff was well informed and super helpful.

The produce at Aldi is sometimes hit and miss, but always cheaper than other stores. The dried mango slices are a go to snack and the milk and egg options are always just as good as other stores, and a lot cheaper. Never had any issues with people bothering me and the cashiers are nice if you do have to wait in line instead of self checkout. This store typically has the same as any other Aldi store, but easy to navigate aisles.

I happened by this place in the Pineville Mall and decided to check out some of its wares. Kevin…read moredid a great job of introducing me to his offering of Spanish cuisine. I decided to get two different types of Spanish chorizo (as I have always been a fan of the stuff we get here) and an Italian moscato. I LOVE the chorizo, both types. I can slice it and eat it as an hors d'oeuvres or chop it up into chunks and cook my scrambled eggs in it. (picture enclosed of that dish) I like how firm it is and the flavor is rich, and very mellow. It really doesn't compare to domestic chorizo. The wine was great too! When my wife has had a tough day I pour a glass of this sweet, slightly bubbly moscato, super-chilled, into a glass (picture enclosed) and send her out to the hammock. Happy wife, happy life! What I didn't get a picture of was the tuna that Kevin had me sample. Now listen, I hate tuna. I don't want it in a salad, or on bread, or in a casserole. Its not good. But because he was insistent I relented. Wow! I thought I was eating a different meat all together. This was firm, moist and mildly sweet. Nothing like the fishy, mushy crap we get in the grocery store here. He tells me that they put only the best cuts of meat in it, which, by the taste of it, I am inclined to believe. Go try this tuna, especially if you hate the tuna you have always eaten here in the states. Thanks Kevin for opening my eyes to a couple things in life that make my cuisine that much tastier!
